      (in reply to your hope of: "I hope you will share with your friends"...) My reply is:
      OF COURSE YES !!!
      Dear JSK koubou: You are a recurrent example in my discussions on a group of woodworkers that we have in Mexico... From this exact video, I told them several subjects:
      1) That our electric hand tools are way underused or "wasted" if we don't accompany them with Precise jigs, guides and supports that can transform those tools into precision instruments, thanks to your superb examples.
      2) That they don't have to limit themselves to using only wood, but that they have to learn about using some metals like steel, aluminium, etc by using profiles, plates and bars. In some of your setups, metals make the difference!
      3) That tackling design, they will, some day, progress beyond simple projects, an be able to make our own bench tools from much less expensive electric hand tools.
      4) That getting deep into making many jigs and accesories is one of the best ways to acquire dexterity and precision without worrying too much about finishes and looks, before attempting to go into fine cabinetry or demanding woodworking, that is; to become precise and clever thanks to making a lot of jigs before any cabinet!
      In a word, you are one of several true geniuses that I follow, most probably the number one of all them!
      THANK YOU SO MUCH!

      Thank you for watching my video.
      I value not only making tools accurately, but also making jigs and tools that are as safe as possible.
      There is a video on youtube that shows how to make a very dangerous tool, and it has been watched by many people.
      One of the reasons why I made a tool video is because I want to introduce tools that can be processed as safely as possible so that as many people as possible can work safely.

      I know I can't stand obnoxious music added to DIY videos. If it was being filmed at a job site with a crew and the radio was faintly playing the classic rock station in the background it would add a bit of authentication. (Shutting off the radio to make your video would get you busted, HA)

    That panel saw is inspired and I'm totally building one when I have the space. The only thing I might do differently is mount everything using the T-track instead of screwing directly into the plywood to make it easily disassemblable/assemblable for fine-tuning and modification.

    I have a love/hate relationship with this channel.
    Love, because I love everything he does here.
    Hate, because plywood is so expensive here, especially the thick one he uses, that in most cases it would be cheaper to buy ready-made stuff.

    • @alfredomarquez9777
      @alfredomarquez9777 ปีที่แล้ว

      BE CREATIVE! LOOK: most of his projects can be done substituting the expensive plywood with much less expensive MDF or HMR. in that case you will have to coat the MDF or HMR with a sealer or enamel paint to avoid humidity effects, but it can be done without espending too much.

    • @jisakukobo
      @jisakukobo  ปีที่แล้ว

      Wolf Guard Miestwin
      Plywood is also expensive these days.
      But your statement has flaws.
      It's cheaper to buy things from scratch than to buy off-the-shelf tools and materials to make something.
      In other words, it's cheaper not to make anything.
      Now, I have a question for you. What made you want to buy off-the-shelf tools?

    • @1miltond
      @1miltond 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That is because in America they don't want you to DIY nothing is a society base on high consumers and low pay workers.The industry in America is base on buy and sale what is call services .See if you DIY you try to become independent and system don't want that.If you look at people DIY anything on another country they use tools and materials we don't have here in the states or if is any similar is way to expensive you never wonder why?

      @@jprz3837 If by "progressive dorks" you mean "people who are observant", well thank you! It's really nice to be appreciated!
      Of course, if that's not what you meant, and what you were really doing was disrespecting this channel by venting your own terrified little boy feelings of inadequacy and projecting your own self-loathing onto others, well maybe the Internet isn't really a healthy place for you. I'm ashamed to admit my initial reaction to your comment was to laugh out loud, and imagine the pathetic and lonely little keyboard "warrior" you surely are. That was wrong, and I am sorry. I should not be laughing at the embarrassing rantings of someone who has clearly reached rock-bottom. You have undoubtedly had a very tragic and pitiable life, so I beg of you to not give up hope! I know the world is a dark and scary place for you, but believe me, there is help for you if you can just get up the courage to ask for it! It's time to put down that controller, turn off the Playstation, and come out of that basement. I know the first steps into adulthood can be scary, but I know you can do it if you try! I really do.

    Can I ask the exact name of the Makita Circular Saw u use in ur videos?? It's beautifully made so it has to be a very expensive model. I love the look of it and also that it's cordless.
    Is there a special blade for cutting wood and Aluminium together so I don't have to keep changing through blades or is that what u normally do yourself? I would be very grateful if u could give me a heads up on the Saw make and any of the best blade makes u use there on ur videos?

    Thank you for this amazing video - I have just purchased a new circular saw ( but battery failed - I think it needs a stronger battery so sent off for one). I have just made the first guide in the video, Can I ask.... what you put on the metal before you drilled it? was that oil? what kind of oil did you use? why does this help? only asking because I am clueless!!!
    many thanks in advance for any info you or anyone else can provide about drilling metal.
