    FYI, in each and every one of your hacks, I counted over nine righteous hacks that were implemented along the way to build yet another awesome jigsaw enhancer. The way you present your uploads yield literally so much value that I couldn’t imagine someone not coming away having learned something from watching it. I don’t even know who you are and yet you’ve given me these amazing gifts that keep on giving! I think the trees that pass through your hands over the years would agree, their lives were for a valuable and meaningful purpose thanks to you.

    I want to congratulate you!
    I have never seen anyone work as professionally, precisely, neatly and cleanly as you.
    Probably nothing is improvised and you have probably followed a project or a drawing but the care in the workmanship, the craftsmanship and the precision can be envied by master carpenters from all over the world.
    You made a perfect video... As all videos should be.
    You have improved and created equipment for your workshop with incredible simplicity and I hope you will do the same with different equipment as well.
    You are an example for someone like you who puts so much passion into his Hobbie.
    Keep it up.
    BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO!

    It puts a smile on my face, seeing all those little attentions to details like in the end, when everything fits in size. Your nonverbal communication is also top notch. And the video editing showing everything, yet skipping redundant repetitions is also very well thought out. You cover a lot in a relatively short time and still "explain" so many tips. These videos are truly an educational joy to watch. Thank you! ❤️

    • @raymitchell9736
      @raymitchell9736 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@BadSpock thank you , I appreciate your comment, I should explain a bit: What I have is a Craftsman Jig Saw w/Scroll feature... I noticed a lot of fiddley adjustments on this saw, and you can lock the jig saw to 90 degrees if you don't need the scroll feature. But as always, I made sure the sole plate is at 90 degrees to the blade, it's a new blade for wood... I took the cut slowly in 3/4" plywood and got a beveled cut. This happens to me all the times I've used this saw... I always have to clean up the cut with a trim router and flush bit... Everyone thinks that this is operator error on my part, but I'm getting more convinced it's this type of saw... I spent a lot of time reading the owners manual, checking it over and over... so I think I will give up on it and get a simpler one like everyone else uses... I never used all the scroll features, It's cool, but... if I knew that I would have saved my money. I may sell the dang thing... it is still in very good/excellent condition.

    • @mikeyd717
      @mikeyd717 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@raymitchell9736 one tip I noticed with jigsaw operation is where you perceive your pivot. You tend to twist your hand making the center on the saw the pivot. And that's a mistake. The pivot is out at the front. So your corrections or when cutting a radius should be sweeping the back end out one way or another. Drove me crazy cause my bosch would deflect constantly and it's a good quality saw. If you really focus on how your moving the saw through the wood and correct the center pivot that is the natural way to use other power tools you should notice a difference. If you screwed the saw upside down to a fixed point and passed wood through it you wont have near the deflection if any. That test will tell you if it's the saw or how your using It. This worked for me anyway. Hope it helps someone else. And slow and steady of course

    For clean cuts in material with harder surface - kitchen tabletop, melamin f.e. - I always use a reverse blade, that cuts on the downstrike. It takes more strenght to hold and guide the jigsaw and you have tu use no pendulum stroke - but the result is an absolute clean cut!
    Nice Video as always!

      I did watch it til the end. It was brilliant. You’re a master machine tool maker for wood products. But I suspect that taping that radius will control that top tear out on circle cutting. Also, I was looking at your plans, I might have missed the parts list but do you list parts suppliers for hardware? Beautiful tooling.

      @@brucewilliamsstudio4932 Me too. I usually have to source to Ali Express for some of the stuffs. I find Amazon Japan has lots more parts and quality tools that Made In Japan. But they don't ship to Canada. Japanese tools and parts are more expensive but I rather pay for quality tools. Buy one and cry one🙂

      @@pking39 Agreed, always go for the best quality you can afford. Sometimes that means taking a lesser quality item until the budget can afford it, but good/great quality always wins out in the end.

      DIY or product placement?

      @catalingherzan3829 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Joe-nv6ge I understand that you didn't realize the essential... As you can see very clearly, everything is just his work and ingenuity, so the rest matters less. After all, he is the only master of his work and achievements, he has the right to do what he wants. Anyway, most of the products created are at a high quality level, probably superior to those found in stores. Such people must be respected, motivated, encouraged and I believe that they could have a lot of customers if they decided to sell, they deserve respect and respect from all DIY enthusiasts.👍
