Red Headed Neighbor, I'm so glad you have a chance to react to the collaboration between two of my favorite bands, Band-Maid and The Warning. This collaboration is a perfect meld between two of the hardest rock bands in the world. Dani's wail at the beginning of the song gets your attention and then the powerful vocals between Saiki and Dani carry you all the way through the song. The instrumental conversations give the song the sound it needs to rivet every second of your attention. What a song! This song screams "Girl Power!". Band-Maid and The Warning are the new "Power Couple" in rock.
Go Red! By far my favorite reaction video to this song! This is high energy, catchy, beautifully played and a perfect example of how to do a collaboration the right way. No egos or one band basically backing for the other - they played off each other and had fun! It fits with the humble, professional spirit with which each band performs on their own. It helps that the two bands admired each other from afar and hit it off immediately as friends in person. Thank you for your wonderful, unvarnished 'squee!' reactions too - what a joy!
When the Professor passed away Band-Maid filled the void left behind. They are my current favorite band. I have also learned a massive respect for the Villarreal sisters as well. This collaboration is the musical equivalent of Voltron. The 8 juggernauts combine to make the ultimate supergroup! Their styles blend so flawlessly. I genuinely hope they do a North American tour together. Band-Maid does more with 3:30 than most bands need an entire album to accomplish. The Warning just finds and extra gear that cranks the energy level off the charts!

The performers who are the chillest don't break character at all. Ale has totally cool swagger and is as chill as a cucumber. Her chill counterpart is the maid with purple hair playing rhythm guitar. Those two are just so chill, and stay cool through the entire performance. This performance is growing on me one reactor at a time.

So TW and BM met at a US festival in 2022 and said they should collaborate. They got that opportunity this year. They went to Japan and played three shows, one with Band-Maid. TW traveled to Japan two weeks early to write/compose/record with BM and record a MV. They then played it together at their one concert together. In an interview on the PRS channel, Kanami and Dany said that more collaborations are in the future and TW wants BM to come to Mexico and sing in Spanish. Dany and Kanami play similar PRS guitars in the same color.
@Dave_Marks I was at the Tokyo shiw! Holy moly, the Warning was on fire like they had something to prove! OF course, I love Band Maud too, and I've seen them three times. I'm seeing the Warning 5 times in four countries over the next few months. I hope they release the live performance of Show Me!
Was lucky enough to be at their joint concert in Tokyo in June where they live debuted this song Also caught the premiere of this video yesterday. Nice to get to read the lyrics on this one Really hoping that they release an official live video of this from that concert too!
Thanks from Japan 有難う。 I witnessed the live debut of this song 😍 that was played as the encore & finale of the special concert by Band-Maid & The Warning on June 12 in Roppongi, Tokyo . My seat was located on the 2nd floor but in the center meaning in front of the two drummers. I was in bliss! It looked to me that Paulina and Akane literally and happily competed like a duel to see which drummer can kick harder enough to break their bass drum in the joint performance. 🤣 (FYI : In the special concert, The Warning, who opened as the special guest, performed so powerful that the Maids were fired up to start their turn with fullest energy as the hostess band. It was fun like a kind of martial arts between two fighters respecting each other.)
I have already watched the official video and other reactions. This is my favorite reaction so far. BAND -MAID and The Warning together is greatness.🇯🇵🇲🇽 These bands should be playing the Olympics closing ceremony. I have been thinking for a while about BABYMETAL and LOVEBITES jamming together. I'm a 62 yr old reactor and I think I was just about as giddy as you were and even got a bit of a tear in the eye when they did the battle section. Interesting tidbit...the end bass line by Band-Maid's bassist...are the same notes played by Ale at the end of Survive when The Warning played it in the 2017 TedX video with Unmendable and When I'm alone...nice touch.

I sort of figured you would love this one. Dany really pushed it and it was spectacular. Loved this whole concept. They did not do a Warning song or a Band-Maid song, they cowrote a new song they could play together and it is great.
I was there at the Roppongi special okyuji on June 12th. That was a two-man show where TW performed for about an hour, then B-M for the 2nd hour. I thought the show was over but then the techs were resetting the stage with ALL THEIR instruments while Miku was teaching TW how to do omajinai-time. My heart nearly stopped in anticipation of a dual-performance, and my jaw just dropped when my first listen to this song was at that performance. Saiki and Dani belting out during the 2nd chorus was so 😻😻 Now seeing your reaction, I did not have the luxury of hitting pause or rewind during that concert 😅 But if you were there with us at Roppongi, Im sure I would have seen a "redheadedneighbor.exe stopped working" 😹 🎀 edit: By the way, before Dani belted out her war cry in this song at that Roppongi performance, Saiki whispered something to Dani, then Dani shouted to us "kagatte koi ya!" Saiki taught her the japanese for "bring it on!" 😻

Well that was pretty damn exciting to watch Red. I get a sneaky suspicion you liked that, please don't hold back next time..😂😂. What a collaboration between 2 of the very best rock bands on the planet. Dany asked Kanami to come to Mexico to play together and she would teach her a song in Spanish on a PRS guitar interview recently. Kanami said they will have to make it happen....can only hope.
Hi Redhead, I am glad you liked it but my ears are recovering slowly from your high screams, ouch. Do not like that! Yeah, this is a very cool collaboration. Nice to see them having so much fun together. This is very entertaining, in particular if you are fan of both groups. Also, what's nice is that all 8 of them are so kind and lovely people and extremely talented. To see them all 8 having fun at the same time is a kind of dream coming true. The actual song? Here the opinions are divided. Most reactors gives it a 10 out of 10 and say it is outstanding, but some (very few) say that they likes it but gives it maybe 8 out of 10 due to diverse reasons. Now opinions are personal and taste varies. My reaction was maybe a 9 out of 10, I think it was a 10 out of 10 regarding singing, but I would have liked more time for the musicians to shine, which, of course had added one or two minutes to the song. Personally I have no problems with longer songs, why not a 5 minute song, or even more? But modern songs seems to be approx. 3 minutes. Long songs is not in fashion. Although, Lovebites makes long songs, hmmmmmmmm ... might that be one reason i like them? You give everyone time to show what they got.
I'd give it a solid 8.5. The only complaint I have is not being able to understand Saiki's English with her heavy Japanese accent, especially when it is low in the mix. Dany's vocals are enunciated clearly, but her level is a little low as well. I wish we could have heard more jam from each of them. I appreciate the subtitles. I LOVE the collaboration and the message. I hope they get together in Mexico and record together again. It's so cool to see musicians from different cultures do something together.
Matt Belamy and Lizzi Hale give Dani a guitar as a gift. I don't remember a band making so many friends in the music industry. It's not common for bands to make music together. Have you ever thought about whether this becomes a standard? Maybe it's a start. Everyone would benefit...

Great reaction to this epic collaboration. My only issues are that the song is too short especially the instrumental duals and I would have liked to have seen Pau a bit more prominent in the video/song. Oh well I guess room to improve for their next collab I think that was teased for when they meet in Mexico.

Well that was pretty damn exciting to watch Red. I get a sneaky suspicion you liked that, please don't hold back next time..😂😂. What a collaboration between 2 of the very best rock bands on the planet. Dany asked Kanami to come to Mexico to play together and she would teach her a song in Spanish on a PRS guitar interview recently. Kanami said they will have to make it happen....can only hope.
Hi Redhead, I am glad you liked it but my ears are recovering slowly from your high screams, ouch. Do not like that! Yeah, this is a very cool collaboration. Nice to see them having so much fun together. This is very entertaining, in particular if you are fan of both groups. Also, what's nice is that all 8 of them are so kind and lovely people and extremely talented. To see them all 8 having fun at the same time is a kind of dream coming true.
The actual song? Here the opinions are divided. Most reactors gives it a 10 out of 10 and say it is outstanding, but some (very few) say that they likes it but gives it maybe 8 out of 10 due to diverse reasons. Now opinions are personal and taste varies. My reaction was maybe a 9 out of 10, I think it was a 10 out of 10 regarding singing, but I would have liked more time for the musicians to shine, which, of course had added one or two minutes to the song. Personally I have no problems with longer songs, why not a 5 minute song, or even more? But modern songs seems to be approx. 3 minutes. Long songs is not in fashion. Although, Lovebites makes long songs, hmmmmmmmm ... might that be one reason i like them? You give everyone time to show what they got.

I'd give it a solid 8.5. The only complaint I have is not being able to understand Saiki's English with her heavy Japanese accent, especially when it is low in the mix. Dany's vocals are enunciated clearly, but her level is a little low as well. I wish we could have heard more jam from each of them. I appreciate the subtitles. I LOVE the collaboration and the message. I hope they get together in Mexico and record together again. It's so cool to see musicians from different cultures do something together.

Great reaction to this epic collaboration. My only issues are that the song is too short especially the instrumental duals and I would have liked to have seen Pau a bit more prominent in the video/song. Oh well I guess room to improve for their next collab I think that was teased for when they meet in Mexico.
