    SALTED CARAMEL ICE CREAM RECIPE | BEST CARAMEL ICE CREAM RECIPE IN LOCKDOWN | WITHOUT ICE CREAM MACHINE | HOMEMADE
    Hi Friends,
    In this video, I am showing you guys how to make homemade salted caramel ice cream recipe from scratch using whipping cream or heavy cream without ice cream machine.
    Enjoy your summer or your lockdown with this creamy, delicious homemade salted caramel ice cream.
    Ingredients:
    1. Salted Caramel Sauce:
    1. Sugar: ½ cup
    2. Water: ¼ cup
    3. Heavy cream or Whipping cream: ½ cup
    4. Vanilla extract: ½ tsp
    5. Salt: ½ tsp
    2. Salted Caramel Ice cream:
    1. Cold whipping cream or heavy cream: 1 ½ cup
    2. Condensed milk: ½ tin or 7oz
    3. Caramel Sauce: ¾ cup
    4. Vanilla extract: 1 tsp
    Note:
    1. Use a heavy bottom saucepan. Do not use non-stick pan to prepare the salted caramel sauce. Because some of the non-stick pans cannot withstand the heat produced during the preparation of caramel sauce. Also, there is a high chance that the surface of non-stick pan to be damaged.
    2. Do not use a small saucepan to prepare the caramel sauce as the vigorous bubbling occurs when you pour the heavy cream into the sugar mixture.

    I tried this recipe and it was delicious 😋. It tastes exactly like the store bought ice cream! However it didn't have the texture of ice cream, it was a bit too creamy for my liking. Still, flavour was on point! 👍🏻

    I tried this and it came out well, the only thing was that my quantity seemed alot less than what you showed on the video. I used the amounts shown for the sauce.

    Only gripe would be that layering it like that is made made redundant by using a scoop like that at the end. Works much better taking a chunk out going down to bottom of the tub. All in all great recipe though, thank you very much for it

    Is it okay if I use a mixture of cream,heavy cream and even milk?

      Thanks Shahjalal 🤗. When you whip the heavy cream, it turns into whipped cream. And it gives you the creaminess for your ice cream. Adding too much of milk will reduce the creaminess of the ice cream.

      @@BuddingFlavors I tried it.I used both cream,heavy cream and milk.Maybe my whipping cream wasn’t cold enough so it didn't whip well.I also added a quarter cup of crushed almonds,peanuts and cashews. It tastes great.Thank you for giving the recipe.I’ll make the ice cream again and I’ll also make a double batch of the caramel sauce.

      Shahjalal, To get the stiff peaks, cream must have at least 30% fat content. So when you are mixing cream and milk, make sure you have achieved it. Also, you can chill the mixing bowl & whisk for at least 30mins for the fastest result apart from chilling heavy cream. I really like the idea of adding crushed nuts. Thanks Shahjalal for sharing. 🤗

      @@BuddingFlavors I added peanuts to the ice cream even though I don't like it in my deserts and it kinda tastes like 'sneakers'.It didn't really ruin the ice cream though cause even the milkshake I made with the ice cream tasted good.

      Thanks for watching craftastic corner. Salt in this caramel sauce is enough for me. But, if u want more, feel free to add more. If you like the ice cream to be crunchy, I will suggest u to put salted cashews in it. You will definitely love it 😋

      Budding Flavors thanks!! I tried it today, but I accidentally added all the caramel, and mixed with a spatula, which caused clumps and the heavy cream was half milk and half cream. Do u think that’s because I added all the caramel and didn’t use the electric mixer to combine it with the heavy cream?

      Hi Craftastic corner. Thanks for asking the question again. It is not a problem if you add all the caramel sauce(cold caramel).
      1. Did you chill the caramel sauce before adding into the heavy cream?
      2. Did you get the soft peak as I shown in the video? If you get that, there is no issue in your heavy cream. Once you get the soft peak, add the cold caramel sauce and whisk again until stiff peaks form ( with electric or hand mixer)
      I guess your cream might have broken down either because you might have over whipped the cream or the cream got too warm.

      Thanks Pinay Palate 😍 If you have blender, you can try this recipe. But, make sure to check the consistency of the whipping cream for every few seconds. You may need only 30 seconds or so to create stiff peak consistency. 😍 Try it and let us know the result dear🤗

    I tried not this particular recipe but another one and my ice-cream came out quite icy, certainly not creamy yet I followed the instructions to the letter. I saw one recipe where they took the ice-cream out of the freezer every hour and mixed it through to avoid formation of ice crystals. Will do that in my next attempt. What do you think could have gone wrong? Thanks in advance for your insights.

      Hi Nilu, you can keep the caramel sauce in an air tight container and store it in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or keep it in a freezer safe container and store it in the freezer for up to 3 months. 🤗

      I just tried the caramel sauce recipe. Kinda works though. Maybe you add too much water and it takes time to turn into amber color..

    When you think that all you are doing is just mixing up condensed milk (which is really sickly) and full double cream, the result is really sickly and gross. It does not taste anything like the salted caramel you buy from the shops, and is a really poor substitute. I made this recipe and could only eat one very small scoop of it. I will try a custard version to see how that pans out.. You have been warned. Yuk!!
