    I"m currently building a very similar Scout 800. I can tell you from first hand experience that what they've done is an incredible amount of work, and cost. Makes me feel good to see this. Hope they'll consider doing a '60s vintage Travelall.

      @@rperez3883 I still have mine...but the Nissan motor was built for forklifts originally and had poor oil control rings and valve stem seals(none!) A 4bt sits in one of my original Nissan scouts

    Old rusted complete Jeep, $500. New frame, rebuilt and painted mechanicals, $5,000. V2203T DI Kubota diesel (no electronic crap, EMP proof), with adapter and overdrive, $6,000. a New body and paint, $5,000. Tires, $1,500. Saving $82,000, priceless.

      Well, that's because it's an original Scout body. Those things are rare as Hen's teeth. I'd imagine one with a repro fiberglass body would be much less. But keep in mind these are a bunch of custom machines meant to be toys for rich people.

      @robdavis1176 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@aldamico8926 They clearly said it was a Beta test. This is now rolling out to the market. The test went well and is going into mass production. I am a owner of a 5.9 cummins the company has a good reputation of creating quality power plants. I would not hesitate to re-power a mid sized vehicle to the 2.8 crate engine.

    come on get to European diesel standards. my common rail 2.5ltr 5 cylinder Landie 110 Tdi would give over 30mpg from new causing between 75 and 80 mph, as time went on it got better. There are lots of good diesels out the. this is nothing remarkable.
