Scouts have been a staple in my family. Best creek rigs ever made. Cold natured, guaranteed to rust in any state, and no sir thats not a bronco, thats the real deal.
My dad has a 1976 international scout ii, 198 straight 6 diesel all stock and this truck makes 98hp and 187ft lb lol I wish we had the funds to build it but we’re building a house. This is so cool to watch
How about you guys do a detailed video on comparing the 5.9 12 Valve, 5.9 24 Valve, & the 6.7. As-in: Comparing weight. Pros & Cons of each. Money it takes to make a 5.9 12 Valve as powerful as a stock High Output 6.7. And it's reliability in doing so. The most reliable cummings 400Hp set up. The most reliable 500Hp set up and so on.
@@pddofficial That kind of video would be great. I have a 66 Scout with OEM 4 cylinder gas. I am trying to decide what type of 4 or 6 cylinder diesel to put in it. Pro's and con's of each. Dyno tests on each installed in customer trucks. I would ask for you to include some 4 cylinder diesel too.
I had a '74 scout 2 that was orange w black stripes like a tiger.. Thing was a 4500lb beast, especially in 4wd. But, someone t-boned me hard and I rolled like 4 times.. Great memories!
That thing is clean I have a 77 power wagon with a maxed 've pump I'm building a compound p pump motor for it now I'm curious to dyno my ve before I swap it
owned a 1976 scout 2 wish i would have kept it instead of future ex.. still got my 2nd gen dodge IH knew to build trucks dana 44 front and back standard jeep was an option
Add my stock data as a comparison to what stock tune with a 16cm and full manifold/ turbine wrap 115hp at 1970? And 309tq @ 1986 corrected in the heat of summer 2+hr on the dino to get hot enough to trip the cluch fan. According to the dino I went through the traps at Bonneville @2400 @45 hp

yes yes and yess I've been on the fence thinking about buying one of these there's absolutely no videos with any real information in relation to a 12 valve hopefully they will do some soon !
Uncorrected horsepower is the horsepower without using variables based off of weather or other things, corrected horsepower takes in account weather, barometric pressure, temperature and other variables that would give you a number closer to what your vehicle would have at sea level
There’s plenty of power left in it. I got 337hp and 812lb/ft of torque uncorrectdd in the video in the link below from my 1st gen ve pumped Cummins ( I did get more power than this but don’t have video to prove it) th-cam.com/video/jHRS55x8mXY/w-d-xo.html
I’m really not sure what the point of dyno’ing this thing is. Besides just wearing the tread on the tires down. It’s not a race car. It really doesn’t matter what the specific power levels are. And with those knobby tires slipping on the dyno rollers, it’s never going to be all that accurate.
Hey dont count 1st gens out as slow turds they gobs of tourqe annnnnd...my eclb 4wd 1st gen is 900lbs lighter then my qclb 2WD 04.5 commorail and a 400whp 1stgen will surprise 5x as many ppl as 400whp any other cummins because they are unsuspecting
This is for sale on ebay right now for $28,000. Definatly a beautiful truck, the very tall body lift is my only hesitation but bet it's done right. Would love to own it,this oe a Willys.
Scouts have been a staple in my family. Best creek rigs ever made. Cold natured, guaranteed to rust in any state, and no sir thats not a bronco, thats the real deal.
I really wish International still made these. I love a simple truck.
Impressive 12 valve Cummins. Thanks for sharing!

I absolutely love The humor in this video. keep it up lil will!
One AWESOME corn binder . Very nice build. Like the bantering 👍 great video please keep them coming
That’s a great looking truck. Job well done
Nice rig! Thats good torque numbers. Especially if he goes rockcrawlin with it.
Everybody likes torque!
Except driveshafts. I found out that driveshafts don't always like torque. lol
Beautiful video and hello from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷
Oh my God I can’t tell you how excited I am to see a new video.!!!😬😬🤣😂🤣🤣

Man, that is a Damn fine looking & setup truck!!
Nice looking ride.

Great memories before the roll
Thankfully you're still around to remember.
Hahaha.... you two guys are awesome 😉 as usual a great video. This "little” scout looks very cool 👍🏻
Can’t forget about the height ratio Will 😂 Great video guys!
some scouts came with a diesel, rare but they are out there.
Yep, Mitsubishi I believe and it was 6 cylinders with about 100 hp, if my memory is correct. Doubtful

Seat belts in the seat, are designed to work with air bags.

That is a cool truck! I have a '78 Bronco with a 6BT cummins in it that I built, it's on my channel.

Awesome video! and a amazing truck! #cumminsswaptheworld #dinosaurpower #mechanicalmafiaforlife
can you please make a video on how to tune a ve pump 12v??
Those are easy, just google it.
you hear that Aaron Kaufman? time to line em up
When are you guys going to do some K27 videos?!
yes yes and yess I've been on the fence thinking about buying one of these there's absolutely no videos with any real information in relation to a 12 valve hopefully they will do some soon !
Awesome truck! I'm about 6'2", does that mean I get another 10% HP too?
6:30 they start
It might be a little lighter but IH scouts are heavy
Whoever owns it, is a lucky dog
New sub, you guys are 😎 cool.
Fantastic!
Gorgeous scout terra
It is a truck so torque is more important
Please explain corrected Vs uncorrected.
Uncorrected horsepower is the horsepower without using variables based off of weather or other things, corrected horsepower takes in account weather, barometric pressure, temperature and other variables that would give you a number closer to what your vehicle would have at sea level
??? dose it need more ??? power to weight ???
I want one!
I feel like In a gen 3 tacoma you could pull that boat ya wanted to pull with ease
May be you should be saying the denser the air the more power
Its fn beautiful
altitude correction for 2 feet😁
Just remember, HP sells cars Torque wins races!!!
I wonder how much it costs to build a 4bt. That power is plenty for 99% of people.
unfortunately not cheap
If manure was a nickel a ton ol Will would be a millionaire.😜
Todd's ass-dyno was uncorrected :)
Oh boy the internet 1psi of boost equal 10hp is a funny line. Boost is not a real indication of hp lol, it all about mass air density
Your original number was 330hp. It counts!
That is a towing motor.
now drive it I be betting it will make you smile. little rocket. off road wow? no ??
That right there is an awesome pavement pounder.
Less face more vehicle.

It doesn't sit quite right on that frame
That's because they just dropped the Scout body on to a Dodge frame. So it's not going to fit perfect.

It would make more power if it didn't have that shitty rear end cover.

Also these injection pumps loooove he351's
Hey get to the point, Blah blah blah..

Right on, it was fairly clean when we first saw it, I'm sure it's still pretty mint!
