Been watching How Toos on YT for ten yrs and your just awesome bro! If you lived local, I would pay big bucks for a weekend one on one tutorial for sure! Keep it!
@@mflynn45 Wow! that is such a great compliment. Thank you so much. That means I’m doing something right. I’ll do my best to keep it up! Thank you again for the kind words 🙏🏾😊.
Definitely a lot of videos for cinematic shots,,, so far alot focusing on sittings & few showed how make shots … you bruh one in million.. keep up i like you
This is AMAZING! thank you so much for the great information. Do you prefer the rode wireless mic to the dji mic 2? If so, what do you like more about it?
Thank you for the compliment! Honestly I’m not sure. I have the Rode Wireless Go 2 and the DJI mic 2 that comes with the OP3 creator combo. I haven’t compared them directly because I don’t have the full DJI mic 2 kit for my camera. But if I were to pick one up in 2024 for the first time. It would probably be the DJI mic 2.
I'm just learning how to use the OP3 properly. Man, you can get some really good quality clips when you start learning how to. Plus, it does so many types of shots, it's crazy. Only thing it can't do is under water stuff.
Yeah, it’s insane how much you can get out of OP3. I’m still learning how to use some of the features in creative ways. And get more dynamic shots. Making it waterproof would’ve been icing on the cake.
Wow this was detailed and really helpful I have an entirely new perspective for content creators and the Amazon shots that they get Thank you for sharing 🥰✨💕
You’re so welcome! I’m glad you found it helpful and gave deeper insight to what it looks like behind the scenes. That was my goal with this video. To give other creators (both new and experienced) a different perspective on getting shots for their videos and ways to make them engaging with the OP3.
I used a 1/4 to 3/8 inch Metal Male Convertor Threaded Screw Adapter Spigot Stud from Neewer and connected the OP3 on one end and clamped it to the grip head that came with the C stand. I linked it in the description if you want to check it out.
Fantastic! Just picked up OM3 for broll and on-location use and this is exactly the kind of usage info that I haven't seen anywhere else. Love the detailed walkthrough on camera angles and shot setup. Would love to see more of this with a focus on product shots to make boring new tech products (visually, not functionally) look interesting. Bonus tip - I went all-in and dumped my Rode Wireless GO II with the full DJI Mic 2 kit. Not for the 32-bit upgrade (but that is nice), but just to keep things simple with one wireless mic system for both the OM3 and my regular Nikon mirrorless. Less confusion and faster setup.
these the type of videos that should go viral, I appreciate you doing this for us...I have trouble with positioning and angles. On my way to find a settings video of the OP3 from you!!

They were all in landscape mode. You want to use landscape for two reasons. 1) if you want to shoot in 4K. Or 2.) you know for a fact that the video will be used for long form on TH-cam. Portrait mode shots are easier to use when you want create content for short form media like Instagram or TikTok. This isn’t a hard rule it’s just a simple guide I like to use. Ultimately you can use either format in whatever way you want.
@@_andy_louThank you so much! I really appreciate your advice. I'm having a hard time activating the OP3 using my Samsung android phone. Is there another way to activate the device using a computer?
@@loveletter78 hhmm. That’s tough considering you need the DjI Mimo app to activate it. Have you tried using an iPad or any other tablet if you have one?
