My thoughts exactly, when I upgraded to 15 Pro, I got £550 for my 13 Pro, next year I'd be lucky to get £350, however the 3 main reasons were; stand by turns off unless you have always on display, much lighter in real life and a much better main camera, particularly the 24mp as default!
I got 2 of 4 right. The only thing that gave away was the colors were a bit better on the 15. But you would have to look up close to your screen and look for it. For most people they wouldn’t be able to tell the difference
Yeah, it’s really tough to tell them apart. Only reason I got them right is because I took the pictures lol. The 15 is slightly sharper and a bit more vibrant.

I have 13 pro sierra blue, i love this phone, if i replace i must see big improvements and i think replace when i see specific color and visual like sierra blue which i love, i dont like other color 13 pro, i think not is necessary replace every year, upgrade will be your useful when you are eager, you must wait 2-3 year minimum

I got the 1tb model in titanium. The main reason was the iPhones ability to seamlessly connect to my Apple Watch. Yeah I could use the Android pen as a remote for the Android, but my Ultra watch does the same thing. I believe the upgrade will prove to be worth it

I upgraded from my blue 13pro to white 15pro since I don’t see much difference between grey and white and so far my watch and Mac are both silver, so I’m satisfied about this choice 🎉

I love my iPhone 13pro but the battery health jumped from 100% to 90% in 4 months which I’m going to switch because of that today so that it wouldn’t lose too much value before upgrading again

I just upgraded on 4-12-24 to the iPhone 15 Pro and yeah it’s a lot better to me and literally liter and it feels great when I hold it and I got a clear case and I love ❤️ it and I got the 256GB and my 13 pro is 256GB as well

Need an opinion… I got my 13 pro fir 2 years now. It is on 84% battery health. I am planning to buy the 15 pro. My question is, is it worth it to upgrade now? considering, however, that I am contended on what the 13 pro has to offer since there is not much of an upgrade to the 15 pro.
@@Ztib If that’s the case then I would say yeah it’s worth it. Battery life is great and you’ll get a bit more usage if you turn off always-on display. I get a full day of use easily. And that’s with the always-on display turned on. Plus you get a the other features with the 15 pro and will have access to Apple Intelligence when it comes out.
I have a 13 pro and I find the Dynamic Island intrusive. You get let screen space playing games and movies. My 13 pro is plenty fast and still has a very good camera.
Fair point. I’ve read some articles on how Dynamic Island is actually bigger than the notch. But for me, I find it more useful than the notch. I figured if you’re gonna cut out a chunk of my screen regardless, might as well replace it with something useful.

I have a chance to upgrade for basically a couple hundred dollars….might just make the jump. My question about the waste of screen space notch..doesn’t watching videos still leave a black notch where the Dynamic Island is??
Unfortunately yes, it does but it’s reduced to a pill shape cutout instead of the larger chunk of space that the notch took up. So you get a little more of the screen space back.
I have a 13pro my cellular service is cooked, my cameras are dirty from the inside, and the battery health is down to 80% so I’m going to repair it and use it as my work phone to replace the se and currently waiting for my 15 pro in the mail

Yes and no. it is just a software update but there are some hardware changes that went into making it what it is today. However, that update is unlikely to happen for older phones. At least not from Apple. There are a couple videos out there of people finding ways to add it to their older phones. So it's not impossible but it's something your avg iphone users aren't willing to do to get it.
Why would the notch bother you when you have the same crap on the 15 but it’s more in the way? It has screen above it but it’s useless. So I prefer the 13 design. Best would be nothing though.
There’s still a cutout on the 15 that’s undeniable. But what I like about it over the 13 is that it has some functionality to it. I feel like if you’re going to take a chunk out of my phone at least replace it with some useful. And I think Dynamic Island does that. But I of course agree with you on the best option would be not have the notch at all.

I have the 13 Pro, however I don't like the selfies taken in low light; they are blurry and worsen when zoomed in. I want complete clarity and detail, even when zoomed in. Is the 15 Pro worth an upgrade or shall I wait for a future version?
I took a couple selfies in darker environment with minimal lighting and the 15 Pro was slightly better than the 13 Pro. But not enough to warrant an upgrade to the 15 Pro if that’s your sole reason for doing so.
I went to a store that sells device's etc. I tried talking selfies with the 15 pro max from a corner with less light and it wasnt that good. But as some light got in the way it was so clear i could see the pores on my face. The rear camera was spectacular in good light conditions. So clear 24MP picss. Tell me a bit about your experience? In poor light condition is it good?
It's much better in poor light than the 13 Pro, it's also better than the 14 Pro. Obviously no photo will be brilliant in poor light, light is everything for great photo's

I probably need to buy myself a used iPhone 13 Pro. 😅 So far, I've been using the Galaxy S9+, but the front camera has broken recently - that's why I need to replace the phone.
Been Staring down the loaded gun of Trying to figure out phone plans, and whether or not I should spend the extra monthly bill to upgrade to the 15 pro. From my experience battery life on the 15 pro is about the same as the 13 pro when I bought it brand new. I feel like that means the 15 pro is slightly better because I have the always on display on and still getting the same amount of screen on time. Performance is pretty much the same with the slight edge going to the 15 pro. I can do way more stuff on it than I could on the 13 pro because of the usb c port.

Went from a 15 to a 13 Pro Max this year. I'm fine with the Lightning port, and the battery life improvement + 120 Hz display are so worth it

@@Ztib If that’s the case then I would say yeah it’s worth it. Battery life is great and you’ll get a bit more usage if you turn off always-on display. I get a full day of use easily. And that’s with the always-on display turned on. Plus you get a the other features with the 15 pro and will have access to Apple Intelligence when it comes out.
I have a 13 pro and I find the Dynamic Island intrusive. You get let screen space playing games and movies. My 13 pro is plenty fast and still has a very good camera.
Fair point. I’ve read some articles on how Dynamic Island is actually bigger than the notch. But for me, I find it more useful than the notch. I figured if you’re gonna cut out a chunk of my screen regardless, might as well replace it with something useful.

Yeah, it was 50-50 for me. But that just shows that the 13 pro is no slouch and can still compete with the 15 pro.

My question about the waste of screen space notch..doesn’t watching videos still leave a black notch where the Dynamic Island is??
Unfortunately yes, it does but it’s reduced to a pill shape cutout instead of the larger chunk of space that the notch took up. So you get a little more of the screen space back.

I have a 13pro my cellular service is cooked, my cameras are dirty from the inside, and the battery health is down to 80% so I’m going to repair it and use it as my work phone to replace the se and currently waiting for my 15 pro in the mail

@@_andy_lou the iPhone 15 pro where getting from the phone plan is a pre owned one and said it won’t come with the cord but I think I’ll buy a new one at a Apple Store near me you convinced me to get the 15 pro.

Sure thing! In my opinion the 15 pro is the better camera but not by much. Its a bit sharper and more vibrant that 13 pro’s camera.

Yes and no. it is just a software update but there are some hardware changes that went into making it what it is today. However, that update is unlikely to happen for older phones. At least not from Apple. There are a couple videos out there of people finding ways to add it to their older phones. So it's not impossible but it's something your avg iphone users aren't willing to do to get it.

Why would the notch bother you when you have the same crap on the 15 but it’s more in the way? It has screen above it but it’s useless. So I prefer the 13 design. Best would be nothing though.
There’s still a cutout on the 15 that’s undeniable. But what I like about it over the 13 is that it has some functionality to it. I feel like if you’re going to take a chunk out of my phone at least replace it with some useful. And I think Dynamic Island does that. But I of course agree with you on the best option would be not have the notch at all.
@@_andy_lou That’s a good point and I agree with that, but not worth it and it’s poopy that Apple could give the same feature on older phones but not as nice looking.
I have the 13 Pro, however I don't like the selfies taken in low light; they are blurry and worsen when zoomed in. I want complete clarity and detail, even when zoomed in. Is the 15 Pro worth an upgrade or shall I wait for a future version?
In what low light situations are you taking selfies? Is it like right after sunset outside or inside in a darker area?

I took a couple selfies in darker environment with minimal lighting and the 15 Pro was slightly better than the 13 Pro. But not enough to warrant an upgrade to the 15 Pro if that’s your sole reason for doing so.

I went to a store that sells device's etc. I tried talking selfies with the 15 pro max from a corner with less light and it wasnt that good. But as some light got in the way it was so clear i could see the pores on my face. The rear camera was spectacular in good light conditions. So clear 24MP picss. Tell me a bit about your experience? In poor light condition is it good?
I don’t take too many low light photos that often. But I when I do it isn’t too bad. However it’s nothing compared to the well lit photos.

It's much better in poor light than the 13 Pro, it's also better than the 14 Pro.
Obviously no photo will be brilliant in poor light, light is everything for great photo's

From my experience battery life on the 15 pro is about the same as the 13 pro when I bought it brand new. I feel like that means the 15 pro is slightly better because I have the always on display on and still getting the same amount of screen on time. Performance is pretty much the same with the slight edge going to the 15 pro. I can do way more stuff on it than I could on the 13 pro because of the usb c port.
