iPhone 13 Pro VS iPhone 15 Pro: Is It Worth It?

- You’ve been rocking the iPhone 13 Pro for a while now. And it’s been good for you. you love the premium feel of the stainless steel in your hands. The notch doesn’t bother you that much anymore. And that butter-smooth Promotion Display just keeps you coming back. That is… until the 15 Pro was released back in September. Now all you can think about is the new titanium build coupled with the newly adopted action button and USB c port. And you wondering if is it worth the upgrade?.. I have some thoughts that’ll help answer that question. So let’s stop wasting time and Let’s talk about it.

only 535 subs ?? that seems crazy the way you made this video the quality ,the topics,and the way you talk about the actual subject its really good.Ive got my 15 Pro Max in october I ordered it on the 24th of september and waited a month for it and i got the blue titanium and like you said i was nervous as well cause i usually go for the space grey one but i love it i didnt have any problmes with it no overheating,no cracks,the battery life is way more than enough and i can say it is worth it ,im coming from a 13 Pro and yes the 13 Pro still is a really good phone but if you have the money and it doesnt put you in financial danger then yes go for it.This is my first time on your channel you def got my sub man,keep it up!

I got the 1tb model in titanium. The main reason was the iPhones ability to seamlessly connect to my Apple Watch. Yeah I could use the Android pen as a remote for the Android, but my Ultra watch does the same thing. I believe the upgrade will prove to be worth it

My thoughts exactly, when I upgraded to 15 Pro, I got £550 for my 13 Pro, next year I'd be lucky to get £350, however the 3 main reasons were; stand by turns off unless you have always on display, much lighter in real life and a much better main camera, particularly the 24mp as default!

Sure thing! In my opinion the 15 pro is the better camera but not by much. Its a bit sharper and more vibrant that 13 pro’s camera.

Am keeping my 2.5 years old 13 pro with 89% batery untill it die ,it still works like when it was new … i will probably upgrade to 16 pro when iPhone 17 comes out or something like that .

I got 2 of 4 right. The only thing that gave away was the colors were a bit better on the 15. But you would have to look up close to your screen and look for it. For most people they wouldn’t be able to tell the difference
Yeah, it’s really tough to tell them apart. Only reason I got them right is because I took the pictures lol. The 15 is slightly sharper and a bit more vibrant.
What’s the difference in weight between the 2? I’m thinking of upgrading my 13 pro for the pro AT&T has a good deal on it if I trade my 13 pro one a 15pro
The iPhone 15 Pro is about 17 grams lighter than the 13 pro. But for some reason it feels like much more than that when you hold it in hand.

Yes and no. it is just a software update but there are some hardware changes that went into making it what it is today. However, that update is unlikely to happen for older phones. At least not from Apple. There are a couple videos out there of people finding ways to add it to their older phones. So it's not impossible but it's something your avg iphone users aren't willing to do to get it.

Been Staring down the loaded gun of Trying to figure out phone plans, and whether or not I should spend the extra monthly bill to upgrade to the 15 pro. Currently on a standard 11, so its high time for it. 100% appreciate the work put into this video. It's Informative and is probably the best video I've seen on the 15 pro so far. I just upgraded on 4-12-24 to the iPhone 15 Pro and yeah it’s a lot better to me and literally liter and it feels great when I hold it and I got a clear case and I love ❤️ it and I got the 256GB and my 13 pro is 256GB as well

I upgraded from my blue 13pro to white 15pro since I don’t see much difference between grey and white and so far my watch and Mac are both silver, so I’m satisfied about this choice 🎉

I’m able to upgrade and I am either getting the 15 pro or the 13 pro the one thing I’m a bit worried is the cord and how the titanium can break easily
What is it about the cord that worries you?
@@_andy_lou the iPhone 15 pro where getting from the phone plan is a pre owned one and said it won’t come with the cord but I think I’ll buy a new one at a Apple Store near me you convinced me to get the 15 pro.

I love my iPhone 13pro but the battery health jumped from 100% to 90% in 4 months which I’m going to switch because of that today so that it wouldn’t lose too much value before upgrading again

My question about the waste of screen space notch..doesn’t watching videos still leave a black notch where the Dynamic Island is??
Unfortunately yes, it does but it’s reduced to a pill shape cutout instead of the larger chunk of space that the notch took up. So you get a little more of the screen space back.

Choosing between five pairs of images - the image that I like the most, I chose the iPhone 13 in 4 out of 5 times - without peeking.
I probably need to buy myself a used iPhone 13 Pro. 😅
So far, I've been using the Galaxy S9+, but the front camera has broken recently - that's why I need to replace the phone.

I went to a store that sells device's etc. I tried talking selfies with the 15 pro max from a corner with less light and it wasnt that good. But as some light got in the way it was so clear i could see the pores on my face. The rear camera was spectacular in good light conditions. So clear 24MP picss. Tell me a bit about your experience? In poor light condition is it good?
I don’t take too many low light photos that often. But I when I do it isn’t too bad. However it’s nothing compared to the well lit photos.

It's much better in poor light than the 13 Pro, it's also better than the 14 Pro.
Obviously no photo will be brilliant in poor light, light is everything for great photo's
I have the 13 Pro, however I don't like the selfies taken in low light; they are blurry and worsen when zoomed in. I want complete clarity and detail, even when zoomed in. Is the 15 Pro worth an upgrade or shall I wait for a future version?
In what low light situations are you taking selfies? Is it like right after sunset outside or inside in a darker area?

I took a couple selfies in darker environment with minimal lighting and the 15 Pro was slightly better than the 13 Pro. But not enough to warrant an upgrade to the 15 Pro if that’s your sole reason for doing so.

I've upgraded from a 13 Pro
It's a much bigger upgrade than a lot of you tubers make out.

@@Alexpsy1 The 13 pro is a solid phone. But for me the big upgrade is usb c, the action button and Dynamic Island. The camera is another one too but the first two makes the phone more fun to use in my opinion.
I have a 13pro my cellular service is cooked, my cameras are dirty from the inside, and the battery health is down to 80% so I’m going to repair it and use it as my work phone to replace the se and currently waiting for my 15 pro in the mail

I got the iPhone 15 regular in pink and I’ve dropped like 1000 times since i got it and my screen is still intact 😂

which is better in terms of battery performance if both are brand new. 15 pro or the 13 pro?
From my experience battery life on the 15 pro is about the same as the 13 pro when I bought it brand new. I feel like that means the 15 pro is slightly better because I have the always on display on and still getting the same amount of screen on time. Performance is pretty much the same with the slight edge going to the 15 pro. I can do way more stuff on it than I could on the 13 pro because of the usb c port.

For me it was worth it. Having the usb c for external storage and being able to shoot in Apple Log has come in handy. I actually used it to film part of my intro for my recent video

I have a 13 pro and I find the Dynamic Island intrusive. You get let screen space playing games and movies. My 13 pro is plenty fast and still has a very good camera.
Fair point. I’ve read some articles on how Dynamic Island is actually bigger than the notch. But for me, I find it more useful than the notch. I figured if you’re gonna cut out a chunk of my screen regardless, might as well replace it with something useful.

Yeah, I think they’re struggling to come up with compelling reasons for consumers to upgrade.
Why would the notch bother you when you have the same crap on the 15 but it’s more in the way? It has screen above it but it’s useless. So I prefer the 13 design. Best would be nothing though.
There’s still a cutout on the 15 that’s undeniable. But what I like about it over the 13 is that it has some functionality to it. I feel like if you’re going to take a chunk out of my phone at least replace it with some useful. And I think Dynamic Island does that. But I of course agree with you on the best option would be not have the notch at all.

I still think that a used iPhone 13 pro is a much better deal. I got a 15 pro and a 13 pro. Got the 13 pro (128gb) for 400 bucks, totally scratch free and with 92% battery health. In day to day use it's so close that a 800 dollar price difference is hard to explain.
I think it depends on how you plan to use your phone. Yes the 13 Pro costs less and is still a great phone. No argument there. Nice find on the 13 Pro for $400! 👍🏾
However, since picking up the 15 Pro. In a pinch, I’ve used it as a 2nd camera to film some of my videos in Log. And I don’t have to worry about running out space bc the footage stored on an external SSD through usb c.
Which makes it quick and easy to move files. All of which, I couldn’t do with the 13 Pro with ease. Partially because I would need to buy an adapter. That’s why 15 Pro works for me. But if that’s not a use case for you or anything like that. Then a 13 pro might be a better deal.
