Yeah. I'm 99.9% certain you are going to earn a good living from TH-cam if you keep this up. You've pointed out some things that literally NOBODY is talking about with the Pocket 3. After shooting my cruise vlog with it, I was disappointed in its performance as a grab and go auto camera and thought about selling it. Specifically, with the restaurant scenes. I should have taken out my cell to check the image. I would have realized I needed an ND to balance out the light coming through the windows and the restaurant lighting. After seeing your video, I think I'm going to keep it for a little longer...I'm torn on the magnetic mount though. I think I may just carry my old Gorillapod with me on my upcoming trip to Disneyworld with my son.

For Disney world though that gorillapod should work just fine since that’s alot of being on the move. I will say though something you might like is this SUPER portable and fairly tall tripod! It takes like 30 seconds to set up, doesn’t take up much room at all, and honestly probably doesn’t take up much room than your gorilla pod either - amzn.to/4cUu8G9 - (plus Amazon has a $10 coupon you can use on it right now )

The active track is very underutilized on the Pocket 3. But it is a great feature to be able to shoot as if you had a camera man.. I like your video open shots where you used it. Great example of how you can gett creative with it.

@@Santosteam1 Well if i have stationary shot I will use manual settings, but if im moving around I will use auto and have the exposure limit at -0.3. When you're moving around or your lighting is changing constantly I dont like manual because you cant change things like shutter and ISO while the video is recording

hey bud awesome video but i think you mispoke at 7:14 and wanted to help you maybe throw in a text revision. you said its going to take too many pictures with a faster shutter, itll be the same amount of pictures just each picture is snapped quicker allowing less light. i know what you meant 100% but i think it may send slightly incorrect information to new viewers. great use of hte pocket3! i have one and use it for mostly sideline paintball footage and overhead billiards table footage. being overhead its nice because i just send it up and then frame with phone. made life so much easier, no more balancing on chairs on my tiptoes hoping its framed right to find out after 6 hours of recording it was crooked.. lol. gonna follow btw. id appreciate one back if possible!

I see you like to cover sports too. not sure where youre located but the NXL / Major League Paintball has two more events this year, one is chicago, and the world cup is Orlando. making a video on the first trip to peep A pro paintball event would be dope footage with a very versatile project direction. Also, youll find people to hire you too for photos or video with ease. I know regional events the teams pay about 300 for unedited coverage and 500 for edited coverage of the prelims only. semis and finals are extra. Last NXL/MLP event was AC and I think it was over 300 teams total. World Cup going to be nuts for a turnout. the just aired the finals from AC on ESPN 2 OCHO check it out explains a lot and can see what its all about.

Hey appreciate you checking in!! And that’s pretty close to what I mean 💪🏽When I’m out and about I keep an ND filter on depending on how much light I need to tune down! I’ll basically grab the appropriate ND filter for the current light and preset my settings to try and stay at close to the 180 rule as possible in auto. On my pro cameras I’m ALWAYS shooting in manual but honestly the OP3 may have the manual options - but just isn’t meant for all that serious control in EVERY situation. It’s a small, convenient pocket camera and trying to put all the pressure and strict settings on this tiny cam just takes away what it’s actually meant to be. Now when I’m shooting a stationary shot, or have control over my lighting I’ll go in manual for sure! B

As far as those black lines if it’s what I think it is, it’s coming from the lights inside the houses you’re shooting & you’re going to need to adjust your shutter speed and shoot in manual mode instead of auto when you’re inside! bro, I am trying to begin with Sports Vídeos (soccer) but I really know nothing about cameras and lenses, and I am in a low budget, where do you think I should start?
Man believe it or not sports videography is actually my main focus! I’m personally a Sony guy but regardless of the camera you get you’re gonna need to be able to shoot in at LEAST 60 frames per second & you want to make sure the camera doesn’t have problems overheating. And shooting soccer you can be pretty far away from the action so try to get a lens im the realm of 70-200 ( for a budget maybe tamron or sigma brand). As far as those black lines if it’s what I think it is, it’s coming from the lights inside the houses you’re shooting & you’re going to need to adjust your shutter speed and shoot in manual mode instead of auto when you’re inside! bro, I am trying to begin with Sports Vídeos (soccer) but I really know nothing about cameras and lenses, and I am in a low budget, where do you think I should start?
Man believe it or not sports videography is actually my main focus! I’m personally a Sony guy but regardless of the camera you get you’re gonna need to be able to shoot in at LEAST 60 frames per second & you want to make sure the camera doesn’t have problems overheating. And shooting soccer you can be pretty far away from the action so try to get a lens im the realm of 70-200 ( for a budget maybe tamron or sigma brand). Also a couple good channels I recommend you check out! :
