I don’t have the DJI 3 yet because I want to make sure I can transfer files to my computer, so you helped a helluva’ lot. 👍🏽. I’m mainly gonna’ shoot standup comedy clips so I don’t need to have large 4k files. Lower res files that can work on my old MacBook Pro Core i7 until I upgrade to an M3-4 Mac is what I’ll be working with. 🖖😎

No I didn’t. I purposely didn’t use D-Log M because I wanted to keep it simple for first time camera users and just focus on the types of shots you can get with the OP3.

Need an opinion… I got my 13 pro fir 2 years now. It is on 84% battery health. I am planning to buy the 15 pro. My question is, is it worth it to upgrade now? considering, however, that I am contended on what the 13 pro has to offer since there is not much of an upgrade to the 15 pro.
Is the battery life your main reason for getting the 15 pro?

@@Ztib If that’s the case then I would say yeah it’s worth it. Battery life is great and you’ll get a bit more usage if you turn off always-on display. I get a full day of use easily. And that’s with the always-on display turned on. Plus you get a the other features with the 15 pro and will have access to Apple Intelligence when it comes out.
saving glamour effect clips is really hard. Takes forever to transfer it to the phone first and later to macbook. Any tip about that ?
Unfortunately I don’t have any tips on saving the glamour effects. I haven’t really used it to have any feedback on it. Sorry.

Thank you for the compliment! 😊🙏🏾. I’m assuming you mean beginner in the sense of new to cameras and TH-cam. Yes, it can be but you have to be patient. As a beginner there will a steep learning curve. You will feel overwhelmed at first because of the cost alone. But once you play around with it for a while and get comfortable with this camera. It has so much to offer that it will grow with you as you develop your skill sets. I love it and wish it was the first camera I bought when I started my channel. But I would be misleading you if I didn’t tell you that there some other cameras out there in 2024 that cost less and could potentially give you similar experience. I’d say rent it like I did and see if it’s a good fit for you. Then move on from there.

I have 13 pro sierra blue, i love this phone, if i replace i must see big improvements and i think replace when i see specific color and visual like sierra blue which i love, i dont like other color 13 pro, i think not is necessary replace every year, upgrade will be your useful when you are eager, you must wait 2-3 year minimum
No, its not worth it. I have 15 pro and my wife has a 13 pro. Not a worthy upgrade. May be 17 pro

I use a card reader that transfers 10gbps and i take the sd card out and transfer 75 gb in less than 3 mins to my pc. I LOVE IT!

Do you ever edit in iMovie. I'm having trouble and wondering if it's a formatting issue. I've edited an entire 45 minute vlog and now I can't export it.
Aww man that sucks. I haven't edited in iMovie for a while now. But it could be a number of things from your filename of the exporting file, an outdated version of iMovie, or it could be that you don't have enough storage space on your device. Those are a couple of things I would check first and then go from there.
Some of us are hoping to upgrade to the 13 pro from iPhone XS

I would recommend never using a SD Card bigger than the maximum recording time of the battery. I would suggest 8 x 64GB cards instead of 1 x 512GB

Thank you for the compliment! Honestly I’m not sure. I have the Rode Wireless Go 2 and the DJI mic 2 that comes with the OP3 creator combo. I haven’t compared them directly because I don’t have the full DJI mic 2 kit for my camera. But if I were to pick one up in 2024 for the first time. It would probably be the DJI mic 2.
64GB can record atleast a couple of hours in 4K24 H264 why do you need more than a couple of hours
