Just started 3 weeks ago and had receding bleeding gums and painful and loose teeth. in 2023 they said they would deep clean ($2000) and then see what happens - I didn’t do that. Then I stumbled upon Dr Ellie’s video last month and tried her regimen and within the first week the sensitivity to hot and cold stopped and then the bleeding went away. I personally recommend Dr Ellie’s videos and website. Most dentists would only want to do filling and X-rays but not have a plan to help you keep your mouth and teeth healthy. But Dr Ellie is a great dentist and a blessing to us all. Please keep up your amazing service to humanity. Eternally Thankful 🙏

Started her complete system in dec 2023. Sitting at the table talking to my wife two days ago she said your teeth are getting whiter. At 70 thats a great compliment. This system works. I never brushed my teeth two times a day and never used any of these products. So it makes total sense this is happening.

I started almost 2 weeks ago - I'm doing everything exactly as recommended. I had major bleeding when brushing, even when brushing lightly. I've always loved anything acidic or citric, and I didn't realize how much I was damaging my teeth and gums. My mouth feels amazing now, teeth are less sensitive, breath is better all day, gums have stopped bleeding so much, and teeth are already looking whiter and brighter. I'm blown away tbh. Even my gums are already looking way healthier, being repaired. I'm so glad I found this chanel, my teeth and gums were in bad shape and I was very worried because I'm only 41 ☺️ thank you Dr. Ellie 🙏🙏

Dear Dr Ellie I am so grateful for the information you have shared, it’s truly been life changing for me. I am in my 50’s and have always had poor oral health, super sensitive teeth, and horrible tartar buildup with receding gums. I thought I might lose my teeth. I had my mouth deep cleaned to remove the heavy calculus and I’ve been using your system since November 23 and the difference it has made to my teeth and gums and, mental health, is just amazing. This knowledge is improving every area of my life as I feel more confident about my smile and breath. I have never brushed twice a day before and always used soft toothbrushes and had bleeding gums and heavy tartar buildup and peritonitis. I now have 2 mouthwatchers toothbrushes and brush twice daily using exactly the system you recommend. I am in Australia so the only drawback is the cost of the Chylosis and ACT is very high and I am searching for local products to replace them. I just cannot thank you enough for the blessing you have given me. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

    1. number of times for oral hygeine in a day:
take care of oral hygeine before sleeping, and after meals
    2. flossing between teeth: use listerine.
    3. limit sugar: not just sugar, but also limit acidic food and drinks.
sipping water will dilute helpful saliva.
    4. regular cleaning: regular cleaning could be mitigated with proper care (tip: use Dr Ellie Phillip's Oral Hygeine system); helpful biofilm could be stripped during cleaning.

My teeth were so sensitive, then I had a bridge put in and for two months the tooth under my bridge was extremely sensitive and painful. I started using Zellies mints and a modified version of the system (I know Dr Ellie won’t approve of any modifications but the Act was reacting to my teeth so I replaced with Closys at start and end of system) and no tooth pain! It’s been a miracle. I will never stop the xylitol again. Thank you Dr Ellie.

    • @boots7859
      @boots7859 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

Stopping flossing and adding xylitol is not going to magic away pain at all. And if someone gets some metal framing done in their mouth which relies on adding pressure points inside your mouth that you've never had before, its sort of obvious that those parts of the mouth are going to get sore and stay sore until they get used to the new pressure/circumstances.
Go ride a bike/horse the next few days for several hours and see how many days it takes before you stop feeling aches and pains...
Not washing your feet is not going to reduce the pain, for most sane people.

For those who are hesitating to try Dr. Ellie's system I am here to report that her protocol works; I started it on Oct. 20, 2023 so half a year ago and I just had my dental appointment last week ( btw I go for check-ups once a year) and I have NO CAVITIES , my receeding gums are healing and don't bleed any longer, not to mention that my teeth are getting brighter and brighter every single day. At 58 that's something to be proud about. For newbies here, give yourself at least 3 months and If I can improve my oral health which impacts overall health anybody can so good luck 🙂
Dr. Ellie I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for educating us on this subject. 🌹🌹🌹🌹❤❤❤❤

Gums looking healthy (horrible mess before). I started Dr. Phillips' complete mouth care 5 weeks ago (March 2024) and I just had my dental cleaning a week ago. My dental hygienist was surprised that I don't have any stains on my teeth and i just started drinking coffee regularly about 3 weeks ago. On top of that, I had two back bottom teeth under cavity watch from my last dental (8 mo ago) cleaning and guess what... my dentist removed my cavity watch. Oh man oh man was I happy and shocked about that?!?! I couldn't believe it and I just had to share my experience. I told them I started taking xylitol (Zellie's mints) and mouth care system routine and they were surprised I knew about it and my hygienist was so happy that I've been taking xylitol and know about the importance of pH level in our mouth. She even said if you're taking xylitol regularly then you don't need flouride treatment on every visit. She was so proud of me.
I just want to say THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU, Dr. Phillips for sharing your advice, knowledge and experience! Your mouth care system is what I've been searching for!

I began using your system several months ago after seeing your videos. When I try something I go all in, exactly, so I can never second-guess myself by saying I followed it 90% of the way. Nope, all in. So I did that but left out a key element, the xylitol. I had some mints that have xylitol but what if it wasn't enough? So I ordered two flavors of Zellies from Amazon and have begun using them several times thoughout the day. That did the trick! My teeth have become uniform in color and I have far less dark stuff come out when I spit out the Listerine. That's a real eye-opener when you use the Listerine!! What comes out!! I'm scheduled for my next dental cleaning on August 1st and cannot wait to hear what my hygienist has to say. I'll absolutely report back!!
Thank you Dr Phillips - you are a God-send!!

We are just about the same. I started her system end of July 2023 and I am going to a new dentist in July 2024. Get this, my dentist of 15 years ( which is a big office), said it is their policy if I don’t get my teeth cleaned twice a year I cant be patient there. So NOW I have a new dentist. I have been going to a dentist every three months for over 30 years and still had pockets of 4-6. What do they say about doing it over and over and expecting a different result? Well I can’t wait for this exam! And I too am 100% all into Dr. Ellie’s protocol.😉. I love how healthy my mouth feels now.

That tells me that either I need to floss (which Dr Ellie says to not do) or something else. My hygienist suggested those little dental flosser things that look like a Christmas tree to go between the teeth prior to brushing. So that's what I've been doing. I'm still using the entire System but am using those little things. Now I wait 'til mid-February for my next cleaning. I still like the results I'm getting - zero sensitivity, thank God!!

Update: my husband went in for his routine cleaning and exam in May. His dentist was so impressed with his positive change in gum health that he stopped during the exam and rechecked his notes because he thought he looked at a different patients chart! He asked who the dentist was and what was her protocol because he wanted to learn how this type of healing could be possible in such a short amount of time with OTC products.

UPDATE #2: went in for my routine 6mo cleaning and exam. Back in February I was told I had 5 cavities that required filling and I needed a deep cleaning in one upper quadrant with 5mm pockets. My perio chart was done and it was all 3's, 4, and two 5mm pockets. The treatment totaled 2k for all the needed dental work. I didn't schedule the appointment for the dental work but rather, I immediately started Dr. Ellie's complete mouthcare system 1 week after that horrendous appointment with hopes it would reverse the damage in my mouth. I'm proud to say I used her precise strategies for 6 straight months and went in for my next check-up and cleaning. The dentist was shocked that all 5 of the cavities were GONE! The hygienist re took my perio chart measurements and all my pockets were 2mm except for two that now measured 3mm. So thank you Dr. Ellie!! In my case as well as my husband, we had a complete resolution of the serious dental issues we were experiencing and will never stop using her Complete mouthcare system.

My wife and I have been using your system for a little over 2 months now. Our teeth are definitely feeling smoother. My wife's teeth are white (she used to use whitening gels from the dentist) so no change. My teeth have always been yellow, especially over the last ten years or so. I'm hoping that the system will get them whiter. My back teeth have always been far whiter so I'm hoping over time that my front teeth will become more uniformly white or white-ish. We are using Xylitol after every drink of liquid, meal, or workout (mouth feeling dry). Neither of us had gum disease before starting your system. I do feel like my teeth are a little more sensitive (since using the system) and my gums feel a little raw sometimes. I have always flossed daily and since stopping I only floss a little if there is something caught in between my teeth. But now my gums bleed easily. Interested in how this will evolve. My wife is about to have her 6 month dental checkup/cleaning and we are eager to see what the dentist will find. My check-up will be 3 months from now. Sticking to the system! So, my question is, if the hygienist sees plaque should they remove it? Also, should we allow the hygienist to polish our teeth? Or should we skip that? Does that process remove building enamel? Thanks in advance!

Hi. I had severe tooth decay, and my gums were unhealthy. Went to the dentist to fix my issues and 2 tooth extractions, 4 crowns and an ongoing implant later, I found out that the healing wasn't as easy as I anticipated. The dentist wanted me to use listerine mouth wash, but not too excessively because it could impead healing. When I complained about pain in the gums socket, I was given a prescription mouth wash with an applicator to flush out debris and help disinfect. But again, the warning was that over use could actually stop the healing process. You may have to cut back on the listerine a bit. Don't brush your gums so hard or long. And see your dentist about your gums. They might be able to recommend something.
By the way, I started using Dr Ellie Philips routine after the dentist finished most of the dental work, and my gums are more healthy. The hardest part is not drinking between meals.

The internet and social media allow people like Dr Phillips to break through to the masses. If enough people get educated then something can change.

Unfortunately, I had not been doing the correct things (your methods) for my entire life. I thought i had great oral hygiene, but my gums continue to recede and I haven't been to the dentist in 5 years. Additionally, I take a low dose of stimulants to treat my executive functioning issues. I've tried going without, and Im just not able to function in this fast-paced world of individualistic living.. I simply can't keep up. So the medication is a must, for now. Im aware of the effects stimulants have on oral health (raising the ph of saliva, dry mouth, etc) and I do practice correct tongue posture and NEVER mouth breath.
I'm anxious to know if I can continue to take my medication without if affecting my teeth/gums in detrimental ways. What would you recommend I do additionally to counter the effects of stims or is your method enough to counter those effects? Thank you so much for spreading this knowledge. People like you are why i'm grateful the internet exists!

Honestly , I would not purposely swallow xylitol . Chew the gum to get the xylitol “juices“ onto the teeth for the benefit but then try to spit out the accumulation of saliva that’s mixed with xylitol after a few minutes . Xylitol is harmful to the liver , kidneys and health over time . Look it up. Good for teeth but not something I would eat or cook with .

She said you can't go by why the manufacturers call them, because they aren't being truthful. Since most people think they need to be using soft brushes, the manufacturers want to call them what they think people want to hear! The problem about sipping water is that we just dont drink enough. Half your body wt. In ounces is what we need every day. Chronic dehydration sneaks up and causes kidney stones, advanced aging and inreases body inflammation and toxification. So this is a problem. Whats the missing link between this protocol and physical health /body organs that struggle? Got to be something more than this.

In this case a "study" looked at the effect of prescription strength antiseptic and very strong concentration of Chlorhexidine - but simply referred to it as "mouthwash".
The shocking idea was picked up by the Media and without looking deeper they went on to suggest that Listerine was a problem. What a mess.
The only "mouth wash" that we should worry about to cause BP and breathing issues - is protracted use of prescription strength Chlorhexidine.
Some years ago another unscientific "study" reported a link between mouthwash and diabetes.
In this one the "so-called-researchers" failed to recognize that the self-reporting about the use of unspecified "mouthwash" was from obese individuals with chronic periodontal disease ( both high risk factors for diabetes).
The study findings were questioned in a paper by Periodontal Researcher and Dean of the University of Dundee - Philip Preshaw....but still the myth of all this swirls on the Internet. Dr. Preshaw gave a gracious assessment saying that "methodological limitations in the study bring into question the generalisability of the findings".....

if there's food stuck in between your teeth then you must take it out, no matter what method you use. I think dr ellie's point about flossing to take out plague is not needed if you follow her mouthcare system.
I use a waterfloss on my normal teeth and string floss on my impacted wisdom tooth(nasty shit to deal with)

I started following the program and after a month noticed that Listerine and ACT stains my teeth. I can use an electrical brush or miswak, the wooden stick to remove or lighten the stain. A regular brush does not remove the stain (usually near the gum line and it between teeth). The moment I user Listerine and ACT after removing the stain, I can see the staining is back. Was wondering if I'm doing anything wrong or something is up. My teeth feel smooth, good and clean but if you look closely you see dark stains that make them ugly.
I follow the recommended steps: CloSys Wash, Crest paste, Original Listerine, ACT Anticavity.
My wife (have to point) doing the same steps and program and her teeth do not get stained!

    • @SunrayStar
      @SunrayStar ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

That staining is sticky dead plaque bacteria that you likely were not brushing hard enough to remove, or else you did not have the Mouthwatchers toothbrushes that are up to this job. Here is what Dr. Ellie said about this elsewhere:
"Teeth staining: “Good stains” are seen on teeth when dental disease has been rapidly controlled, when the remnants of thick plaque and harmful bacteria die off quickly. The debris collects around the tooth, often looking like a dark stain at the gum line. This stain is the sign of improved oral health, less bleeding, and a healthier mouth and gums. A dental cleaning will quickly remove this kind of staining and leave the healthier teeth pristine and white.
If you do not have a cleaning within a couple of months of starting the complete system, the sudden improvement in your oral health may result in a thin band of stain forming around the edges of your teeth at the gum line. This staining is not a problem, is not permanent, and is not at all unhealthy. This stain is dead plaque debris that has shriveled up and formed a hair-like deposit around the edge of your teeth. One cleaning at the dentist will remove this band of debris.
      Ways to address:
      1. Are you using the Mouthwatchers brushes that I recommend? You must get away from fear of brushing too hard. It's not true and you will not do damage by brushing - you will get rid of these stains!
      2. Do you let your brushes dry for 24 hours between uses? (and have 2 brushes - one for AM and one for PM.) Never soak them in anything or they will get too soft.
      3. Are you brushing this area of your mouth where you are seeing the stains? Aim at these areas first, when you have the most toothpaste on your brush, and before you do the gum massage, etc - this is almost always superficial debris that just takes a bit more work to remove.
      4. Are you using the system 2x daily? You will get staining if more plaque forms on teeth every 12 hours during the first months - before the oral bacteria have been balanced. In the future you may be able to skip a time or two - but not in the first months.
      5. Do you stop eating and drinking completely - not even water - after the xylitol at the end of meals? This allows the new healthy protective biofilm to form, and it is this biofilm that will stop your teeth from accumulation of this debris. You may also want to have a Zellies mint last thing at night before sleeping.
      6. This stain is not a health problem - just no one likes a dark stain. But it is superficial debris and will brush off; just use a bit more toothpaste and some more energy on these areas.
      7. IF this extra energy and toothpaste trick is NOT ENOUGH to get rid of the stain - then you are going to make a special paste for yourself - Exfoliating paste: Mix together half a teaspoon of granular xylitol with a big squeeze of the Crest Cavity Protection toothpaste. Use this exfoliating toothpaste mixture - aim at the stains first thing every morning (not during the system.…but as you get out of bed in the morning). Just target these stains with this mixture of xylitol crystals + toothpaste. In 3-4 days the staining should have disappeared completely. Then you do not need to keep using this mixture; you can go back to the normal paste as a part of the system.”
