      When the audio is running ahead of the video, we know the lift was a miss just before seeing it. By the time we got to clean and jerk we were hearing commentary on a lift not yet seen. I stopped viewing.

      Yeah I didn’t start to notice anything until about the 30:00 mark, but I also listen while I’m working and have the volume low alot too, but yeah when you’re paying attention and the audio/video is off it’s terrible

    Maybe ludovica has OCD, and she has to do the same thing Over and over before a lift… and that’s why it takes so long. So sad, she missed very good opportunities

      My brother had OCD when we were young. I bet he washed his hands 20 times a day. Then he would check the door for being locked maybe 20 times.

      you may be right, and it's so difficult to watch. after, like, 10 seconds I was muttering to myself, "oh god, she's not making this"...sad, she seems to have so much potential! that first lift was (eventually) really solid!

  • @seinsfrage

    The audio is a few seconds ahead of the video. You hear how a lift went just as the lift begins visually. Not a complaint. Just an FYI.

      @eldigitom9680 ปีที่แล้ว

      I noticed the same thing on the 'World Record From the B Session! M-81kg | World Weightlifting Championships 2023' video--which Seb and Max did not commentate. Must be an in-house Riyadh wifi delay. You can see it when the PA official speaks.

      Emily is perfect but remember she's still a child, when she turn 18 years old her body will completly changes puberty, muscle mass, a lot of changes so probabbly she become a 64 class or maybe even a 71 class so it's good she continues breaking records cause those classes lift more👌🏻💙

    They should really upload it again with the video on a two second or so time delay so that the audio aligns, watching this is really jaring because of the messed up audio. I hope they have the raw file and that they want to fix this.

    • @maxdiabolo6256
      @maxdiabolo6256 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      By the way, if anyone wondered how to make this event easier on the ears? Keep two tabs open of the same event and only play the audio from the one in the background.

  • @By_Rant_Or_Ruin

    Heads up guys. The sound is not matched to the video progression. As the video progresses the audio timing gets earlier and earlier. Very jarring in this kind of video.

      @By_Rant_Or_Ruin ปีที่แล้ว

      @@roncaruso931 As far as I know yes. Do a google search to find the latest athlete found cheating. However some countries hand pick their athletes because of their ability to have more strength and they test women to check if they naturally have more estrogen and or testosterone. But At this point even blood doping can make half a kilo difference between lifts because they can recover faster. The newer steroids are also very difficult to detect as long as you take them in the off season and for short interactions.

      They'll take away a lift for the smallest little bit of elbow movement then give three whites for Oscar Reyes in a clearly uncontrolled lift and give him a free world title. Pathetic, really.

    Weightlifting is the new figure skating where the judges have way to much power over the outcome versus actual performance. You lift the weight, you've lifted the effing weight.

    Pronunciation guide: Accents are almost always on the second syllable of Cyrillic (eastern European) names, like Ukrainian or Uzbecki. For instance Panfilova is pronounced Pan- FI -lova. NEVER Panfi-LOH-va. This is also usually true of names that don't end in lova. You should retrain yourself away from the dumb-sounding standard. If nothing else, it's impolite. Remember, second syllable, and you'll be right more often than not.
