Its stressful watching this, watching these athletes pass out and having to go right back up there. But at the same time i guess it makes for incredible stories.

Andreea Cotruta passing out and then coming right back to do the winning. Wow! I mean, I know what passing out feels like. I can relate.
What a privilege to get to watch all these powerful women do what they do. Makes me want to add more weights. I think I’ll need a weight lifting trainer to help. 35 next month and my body definitely doesn’t work like it used to when I was in my 20’s lol. A little fine tuning and some good support I think I’ll do fine.

Are you guys able to give feedback on these angles during replays? I wonder why they're obsessed with showing 3/4 of the lifters face at 20x zoom in during the most hype parts of their lifts.

31:08 - She is very very lucky not to have that taken away from dropping the bar above her shoulders. I can never understand why a professional athlete does this and why its almost exclusively to the female lifters?
You can get hurt controlling the bar on the way down - so getting rid of it quickly is a good idea.

What an absurdly ignorant statement. You're greatly overestimating the strength of most men if you think half of them can C&J competitively with these women.
There's no way in hell an average gymbro, let alone an average man can chuck 110kg above their heads like that. It would take years of intensive strength and technique training for a healthy 80kg 20 year old male, and these girls do it at a fraction of that bw.
