I have used both cleansing oil and micellar water, and for my oily-blemish skin and prone to pimple, micellar have been working wonders than cleansing oil. I have been using Aiken Rice Micellar Water and am very satisfied for over a year and very satisfied with the result. It suits well to my sensitive skin.
@norajalinajemari1878 I am neither beautician nor dermatologist. I can only share what I have been practicing. Ideally, we should do double cleansing. As I just recently discovered that micellar water is used before an actual cleasing, I always proceed with the tree tea cleansing gel afterward. But yes, sometimes I am too lazy to do the second wash so I just leave it and go to sleep thoughit does feel slightly uncomfortable knowing that my face isn't properly cleaned. My skin never experiences any subtle change. Just lack of sleep will make my skin break out.
I have oily acne prone skin. I used oil cleanser and it made my closed comedones appear more. Then I switched to miceller water and it's doing great for my oily acne prone skin.
Micellar water cleanses my makeup, oil, dirt, sweat and sunscreen. I spray on then rub in circles and wash off. I don't like the feel of cleansing oils.
I'm confused. I have dry skin and acne prone skin, i don’t wear makeup that much but i wear sunscreen daily. So what should i use? micellar water or oil cleanser?
I’m not entirely sure I can be helpful as I have oily acne-prone skin, but maybe look at what you’ve been using so far and whether it’s been working for you. I’m guessing he mentioned micellar water for acne-prone as it’s the build up of oils that can contribute to acne, hence using an oil cleanser might not be ideal for acne. And I guess oil cleansers may be good for dry skin as it’s not too stripping. I’ve personally found my oily skin often lacks hydration but the micellar water I use is from the brand Simple and it doesn’t feel harsh or drying at all, so you could possibly try a gentle micellar water and ensure you use other hydrating products in your routine if you’re concerned about oil cleansers for acne but still want something best for dry skin. That being said, I’ve never tried an oil cleanser but it seems like some people with acne-prone skin do love it, so I guess it’s really down to preference and what works best for you, but ultimately if what you’re doing currently is fine for you then you honestly might not need to change it at all. I hope this is helpful in any way!
Just a simple micellar water . I switched from oil cleanser to micellar water and my skin became much better because for day to day sunscreen your normal cleanser is enough to remove them but if you use gentle cleanser like cerave then a micellar water would be better ..oil cleansers are extremely overrated imo , unless you wear heavy makeup , thick mineral based spf and reapply 4-5 times in a day there's no need to oil cleanse.
doesn't really matter actually since the oils can be very stripping for some people. Stripping skin of natural skin oils = skin produces more oil = breakouts@@lafasview
Thank you for this. I'm using cerave dark spot face wash and bioderma hydrabio micellar water. I was wondering if perhaps I should add the oil cleanser. I have a lot of dark spots and sometimes a few pimples and for some reason some fine bumps which I don't know what it is.
Don't lick your lips Do gentle lip scrubbing weekly Use lip balm with SPF 30 whenever going out Use lip lightening balm like melalumin or lipzlite on daily basis

Does rice micellar water need to rinse off?

Micellar water cleanses my makeup, oil, dirt, sweat and sunscreen. I spray on then rub in circles and wash off. I don't like the feel of cleansing oils.
Do you double cleanse?
I would use oil first to remove makeup and then Micellar water to cleanse
Thank You Dokter 🙏🌞

@@lola8558 Thanks a lot ❤️❤️
Micellar water just use face wash after as it's best to use as a first step process in double cleansing 😊
@@jclyntoledo Thank you

Thanks that's very informative❤
I can't use cleansing oil at all. I tried a lot of them, but they all just break my skin. CeraVe is my favorite makeup remover ❤
Check the ingredient list for pore clogging oils.
