She gets her power from the mind stone. The mine stone is the most powerful infinity stone because it can increase the users ability to harness vast knowledge and ability to use the knowledge,if they know how, like thanos. Vision was never able to understand the stone because it's like trying to understand your brain, only when a surgeon takes your brain out to figure it out you're already gone. Wanda has been reading up on witchcraft and since her power is mindstone based, knowledge that increase her power also increase her understanding of them which is why when she's fighting the Illuminati she isn't one bit afraid. Wanda has never been afraid in battle because she KNOWS her powers are unmatched.
It’s not “Magic.” People watched WandaVision and suddenly think her Magic applies for everything. She still uses her magic psionically primarily and she’s using it here. She has to concentrate when she makes the shields. It’s not automatic.
Scarlet witch durability is on another level, scarlet witch don't even feel pain, When she came through the mirror dimension with broken Bones and scratches she healed herself faster then Deadpool & wolverine, just similar like hela, she took a Cannon blast and several punches from one the most powerful and strongest young avenger ( America Chavez ) and didn't even flinch. Chevez powers is to create a star-shaped portal by kicking/ punching something and “breaks” the gateway between universes.
As we saw in What If...? Finale, Protection spells are incredibly OP capable of withstanding the power of an infinity gauntlet, I guess this is the same situation with Wanda's chaos magic it always seem to have her back.

It's not what she said, but it's still a possibility that could happen. No matter what Wanda says she wants the power for, once she has it, she could do whatever the fuck she pleased with it and ain't no one gonna stop her then. Not to mention the fact that the tome clearly has mind corrupting influences. Is she telling the truth when she says she only wants her children? Yes, I believe so. At that point in time, I believe that that was all she wanted. That doesn't mean it will stay that way forever, though. Anything could happen to shift that motivation into something else and with the power to traverse the multiverse at will, combined with her massive magical potential, there's not a Strange around who would be capable of stopping her. Very few beings could and those that can wouldn't give a shit about the fate of one tiny planet like Earth and happily wipe it out of existence if it meant stopping her. In short: Letting her have that America's power when she's clearly under the influence of a mind corrupting tome is probably not a good idea, no matter what she claims to want that power for.

I actually liked this movie.. esp how she decimated the illuminati. There is a lot of character development for Wanda and even some for strange .. The movie got panned a lot.. director should have included a lot more sam raimisique type of horror instead of sticking to disneys pg
Wanda was not able to destroy the shield with all of the sorcerers behind it. Only when she messed with one of the sorcerer's mind, was she able to destroy it. It just goes to show that if only all of them were mentally prepared before the arrival of the scarlet witch, they could have beaten her.

The sorcerers were so unimpressive, like I get Wanda is extremely powerful but they’re shooting arrows and janky looking cannons. I thought they bend and wield energy and that’s the best they could do. Arrows?
Terrible defense strategy deploying measure one by one. They all should die. When you go up against someone that powerful you deploy everything at once and don't let up until they're down for good. You don't give the a chance to strike back.
Honestly you gotta be a Wanda stan if you like this. Wanda is a cool and incredibly powerful character but this is just sad. They could have easily given her a good reason/story for her going crazy than two children she imagined to have. For all that power she has she still chooses to kill EVERYONE except the one guy who had a 1% chance of beating her in his own movie. She is too in your face overpowered for the story to make any sense. Its alright that she is currently stronger than strange. Its all right that she is in general stronger(by raw power) than strange but this is too much. She isnt being reasonable. She is a murderer. She has not suffered the most. That would be strange. The dude died a 1000 times in the loop against dormmamu and yes he remembers, thats the whole point. She suffered a lot aswell but the movie trying to make her look like the only one who seriously suffered is just wrong. Anyways Olsen is an incredible actress and i enjoyed her performance as well as benedicts very much. The cinemetography was mostly great but the script and story was simply dissapointing. Its also unfortunate that i had no idea who these kids were when i watched the movie in the cinema, simply because i didnt watch wanda vision.

They have hundreds of spells and conjure up shields but when a witch comes.... they use cannons, bows, spears. MOM is basically a horror movie; big flashy kills, and everyone is an idiot

Wanda was not able to destroy the shield with all of the sorcerers behind it. Only when she messed with one of the sorcerer's mind, was she able to destroy it. It just goes to show that if only all of them were mentally prepared before the arrival of the scarlet witch, they could have beaten her.

i mean she did enslave a whole town accidentally before she got corrupted, but practically in dsmom it was the darkhold that made her do all that, you can even see it in her outfit, her fingers, and the apple orchard, as strange said it corrupts everything and everyone it touches, because at the end of wandavision, the apple orchard was still fine, but we dont know if there was a hex there, or it was before the darkhold corrupted everything and telling wanda she could get everyone back causing her killing everyone in dsmom for her kids

Terrible defense strategy deploying measure one by one. They all should die. When you go up against someone that powerful you deploy everything at once and don't let up until they're down for good. You don't give the a chance to strike back.

Honestly you gotta be a Wanda stan if you like this. Wanda is a cool and incredibly powerful character but this is just sad. They could have easily given her a good reason/story for her going crazy than two children she imagined to have. For all that power she has she still chooses to kill EVERYONE except the one guy who had a 1% chance of beating her in his own movie. She is too in your face overpowered for the story to make any sense. Its alright that she is currently stronger than strange. Its all right that she is in general stronger(by raw power) than strange but this is too much. She isnt being reasonable. She is a murderer. She has not suffered the most. That would be strange. The dude died a 1000 times in the loop against dormmamu and yes he remembers, thats the whole point. She suffered a lot aswell but the movie trying to make her look like the only one who seriously suffered is just wrong. Anyways Olsen is an incredible actress and i enjoyed her performance as well as benedicts very much. The cinemetography was mostly great but the script and story was simply dissapointing. Its also unfortunate that i had no idea who these kids were when i watched the movie in the cinema, simply because i didnt watch wanda vision.

This was by far the dumbest scene in the movie. There was a lot of stupid scenes but this one really baffled me. Kamar-Taj is a temple for training mystic artists against cosmic threats. They have hundreds of spells and conjure up shields but when a witch comes.... they use cannons, bows, spears. MOM is basically a horror movie; big flashy kills, and everyone is an idiot
Scarlet Witch is frustrating. She doesn't have any real resistances, no supernatural senses. Just get a sniper team and she's dead.
