I love how in every MCU movie with Doctor Strange, Stephen looks like he is having some fun in some casual clothes, only to be stressed out with the weight of the universe upon his shoulders within five minutes.
He’s always a bit of Sherlock when he flicks up his cloak collar or when he puts his hands together when thinking, like this: 🙏 And istg so many times Marvel could’ve put a No Shit Sherlock joke between Tony and Strange but they don’t 💀
Strange and Sherlock have the same personality they don't care about anyone but if they do they meant it and they're smart as fvck and they lack of empathy, they have limited but lifetime friends and they'll do anything for their love ones. They also think that everything is about them
Plus the whole multiverse problem in Spider Man was totally Peter's fault for not calling the college back and in hindsight it's partly his fault for causing the barriers between universes to become unstable leading up to Avengers Secret Wars
And this is why Dr. Strange has been my favorite Marvel hero since I was a kid. Everyone always comes to him for solutions and it just ends up annoying him.

I was really surprised by how Doctor Strange was really sidelined in this film. I know this is a Spider-Man film and all. But the marketing made it seem like Strange was gonna have a much larger role in the film

There's a lot of young superhero characters being introduced... Doctor Strange is probably gonna be that tired wizard mentor character who has to babysit them all..
Remember when we saw the trailer and thought something was off about Doctor Strange? I felt he needed his head examined and some kind of memory-wash to remove 14 million visions of the future. So he met Professor X but didn't get it. Anyway, it's too bad Marvel didn't get going on Doctor Strange 2 where he fights Mordo; instead they skipped it. If he was with Sony they'd have released 3 in 2022 and probably be working on 4 to be released this year (2024). Who knows if they will do a movie with Clea; they might just skip that one too.
That movie could have been completely averted if Strange remember his own words "they really should put the warning before the spell" If he'd just explained to Peter what the spell would *actually* do before he started casting, they could have worked out the exceptions and stipulations and added them properly
Or alternatively he could have just asked Peter if he tried to make an appeal to MIT's decision and that would have solved a lot of problems right there
It's funny He never looked serious up until the very last climax scenes tells us He could've mopped floors with all of those villains like in 5 minutes had he not been careless in his own mirror dimension!
