It’s crazy that she created Westview just by having so much grief built up inside, just think about how much power she has after stealing all of Agatha’s magic she’s gathered for centuries. Even so now after having read the Darkhold. She’s amazing❤️
She learned it from Agatha I guess. There's a scene where she did teleportation in WandaVision while she fighting Agatha. In MoM the scene where she arrives from dark clouds.
i haven’t seen anyone point this out but I loved how they did with Wandas movements when it comes to carry her powers. In the beginning you could see she is struggling to blast. Now she can even become more powerful once she got used to carry her powers. She is really strong cause I think her magic is really heavy to carry
Idk if heavy is the right word, I was thinking more like it’s hard to force out? Cause it comes inside her, like how the blast in Westview emanated from her chest.
One thing I really liked (and that was a small detail) was the visual growth of her powers. In the beginning with AoU her powers are more so transparent, but as the films progressed towards Wandavision her powers became brighter and vibrant.
@@derricka241not really. People just used different colors sometimes. Her powerset was also different than the mcu. It was probability manipulation (she made unlikely things happen) and not telekinesis/telepathy
Let's be honest, it would have been a fair match with him having 5 stones if she used both hands against him instead of destroying the mind stone while fighting him. After that she was REALLY pissed and you never get in the way of a pissed woman.Especiall if she could kill youu even without being pissed. Between the scene when he got the mindstone and they battled it was only a few minutes for her.
the thing she got from the darkhold in multiverse of madness wasn't really power, it was precision. Specific spells to do specific things, as opposed to beating Thanos by pulling him and the literal hill he was on apart.
I remember the director said before that if Wanda was able to control her full power in Civil War, the battle between team Cap vs team Iron Man would have ended in 5 seconds.
Okay two things. First off, Wanda nearly KILLING Thanos should have raised MASSIVE red flags for Strange after the battle in Endgame the same goes for the massive amounts of Chaos Magic in Westview. If there is one person besides Agatha that knows about the Scarlet Witch it should be Strange. So I find it really weird that Strange didn't suggest to train Wanda in her use of magic considering the little fact that the Scarlet Witch can warp reality and it is Strange's job to protect said reality. And secondly, since the Scarlet Witch is a "Being of Spontanious Creation", is there also a Being of Spontanious Destruction? I am not really familliar with the comics so I don't know if there is a counterpart to the Scarlet Witch.
wanda can both create and destroy. in the comics chaos magic was a myth to strange, he didn't even acknowledge the existence of the scarlet witch until he met wanda, and in the MCU they haven't interacted yet until MoM which is still upcoming, so maybe he didn't look for her cause he might also not even think of the scarlet witch and chaos magic as real things, or cause he isn't magical. he drains power from other dimensions to cast spells as the other sorcerers, but wanda is a magical being since she just displays her power without any need for incantation, it's engrained in her so strange wouldn't be the best person to give her proper training since their abilities come from different sources and ways, but another witch would, however we don't know if agatha will be on wanda's side in the future, so we leave the learning to the darkhold which basically shows wanda everything she wants and needs to know about her and her powers and skills. it's been confirmed that wandavision took place 2 years before multiverse of madness, so she's had tons of time to learn, she's like an apex magical creature with powers said to be limitless and of continuous/nonstop development, so we'll see how that goes...
oh and it's worth it to remember ab a feat of hers in the comics where she taps into the life force, which is one of the phoenix's powers, and erased almost a 100% of the mutants population and create a whole new world of her own in the exact way she wanted it to be, and the chaos wave that her feat created spread through the omniverse and affected it too.
Wanda's power was a li'l bit sloppy in age of ultron and relied more on her mental manipulations, in civil war she got her power refined and combined it in physical attacks. In infinity war, she got faster and she doesnt cringed anymore when she's using her powers, in endgame, its all "lets kill thanos" burst. Then in wandavision, it just went all out.
Yes that’s what happens with EVERY character. It’s called development. Every single character had a “sloppy” stage until they mature. Why is it such a phenomenon with Wanda?
Her ability to control every aspect of reality really makes her dangerous. Props to Hydra for successfully merging her and the stone somewhat together.
Yeah, that's why I love her character too. She's not entirely good, not entirely bad. She's a morally grey character, which makes her more human, understandable and relatable.
@@nileverdeen3797 The whole "woke" thing about Captain Marvel was fallout from a comment that Brie Larson made about the film A Wrinkle in Time. Captain Marvel was by no means one of the better MCU films. That being said it was about as good as the first Thor film and made substantially more money.

Scary maybe, but well deserved. I mean do you really think that Wanda was Agatha's first target after she killed her own coven including her own mother? Agatha probably stole the lives of a lot of magic users over several hundred years. This would explain why Agatha stopped aging. For those familiar with Harry Potter, think of it this way. Between Voldemort and Agatha, Agatha would be far worse to deal with. If those two fought, Agatha could simply strip Voldemort of his magic and since he would still be connected to his horcruxes, those would be stripped as well. Also can I just point out that Wanda nearly KILLING Thanos in Endgame should have been a MASSIVE red flag for the Avengers and the Scorcerer Supreme. considering that for Wanda about five minutes should have gone by from her dusting.
@@edwinvanooijen7749 should`ve been but they probably didn`t notice it during the battle, her exchange with thanos is rather short and is stopped by the bombardment so Strange could`ve not seen it
@@lyh3815 Maybe, but he would have felt it. Wanda at that point was radiating Chaos Magic. There is no way that Strange didn't feel that. And again he should have felt the events in Westview and didn't do anything. If Agatha was able to pick up on the Hex, than Strange would have as well. People are rather quick to point fingers at Wanda for going down a rather dark path, but how is she to know? Wanda has almost zero training in magic (the only one being a lying psychotic witch). So how is Wanda to know what the Darkhold truely is? Agatha had lied to her before (even in the same episode) so for all Wanda knows Agatha could have lied again about the book being the Darkhold/the Book of the Damned. Also I am not even sure if Wanda knows who or what the Scorcerer Supreme really is. If Wanda is to be blamed for what happens in Multiverse of Madness than I think it is only fair if Strange is also blamed.
Those are all the scenes of Scarlet Witch's magic in chronological order. How she created the Hex is the most impressive part. It shouldn't even be possible since she wasn't this powerful before the series
It was pure grief. Artists are often very inspired by pain, loss, grief, thus they create wonderful pieces of art. This was the same but with magic, she was so drown inside her pain that she wasn't able to hold it together anymore. She was no longer scared, nothing mattered for she had nothing left to lose.
@@tioswift3676 she's always been OP in comics and immortal too. Basically, she became an elder god herself when she defeat Chthon and absorb all of his powers including the darkhold
The Mind Stone may have unlocked her potential, but her powers are more akin to the Reality Stone. One might even hypothesize that her power is drawn directly from the Reality Stone. The connection possibly even created by the Mind Stone to allow her mind to tap into the Reality Stone power and not drive her insane as that much power has done to others in the past. This would explain why, even with five of the six Infinity stones, Thanos still could not get past her defenses. And, she destroyed an Infinity Stone. Only another Infinity Stone can effect an Infinity Stone. Once the Reality Stone was "atomized", her power grew exponentially allowing her to literally rewrite reality. The essence of the stones cannot be fully destroyed, and so that power had to go somewhere. Path of least resistance, it went to the one entity in the entire universe that was already tapped into it. That and the Mind Stone energy is always colored yellow, where the Reality Stone energy is colored red. And her powers always appear similar in visual appearance to the Reality Miasmas seen in Thor: The Dark World. Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, is the wielder of reality itself. Which indeed makes her one of the most powerful characters in the MCU. Even more powerful than Captain Marvel. The only other characters that could match her in power would be the original Vision with the Mind Stone, and Doctor Strange with the Time Stone. But even then, hers is an innate connection where as the other two have to use the stone they have in their possession. Theirs can be taken away however, Vision losing the Mind Stone and dying and Doctor Strange losing the Time Stone to Thanos. But even with more experience than Wanda, Agatha Harkness could not take Wanda's power. Not all of it. Because Agatha's powers are limited, and Wanda's power is that of an Infinity Stone, limitless. The chapter about the Scarlet Witch in the Darkhold could just be referring to anyone who wields the powers of reality so completely, not necessarily about Wanda Maximoff herself. This is just a fan theory though. I have no proof to back it up other than what I've already presented.
Wanda's power is from Chaos Magic not any of the Infinity stone. The mind stone just awaken her power but not added to her powers. In Marvel Comics lore, "Chaos Magic" is referred to as a form of magic that allows for the warping, manipulating and/or reconstruction of reality, according to the user's whims. Wanda got her Chaos magic power when she went to Mount Wundagore where God of Chaos named Chthon was sealed. Chthon is an Elder God who has existed for billions of years and owns the Chaos Magic. Chton saw her walking in the mountain, and since he is sealed, he transfer some Chaos Magic to Wanda in hope that Wanda will release him from being sealed in the future.
@@jayveealltheway i’m pretty sure I read somewhere, that Chaos Magic is like “Hacked” magic, a mix of all the magic from the cosmos. Is that true, because I’m really confused

Wanda is the ultimate dream of any RPG player: She can tank trash mobs and world bosses, she can do melee and ranged DPS, she can do AOE and crowd control. She is also a healer, although that seems to only apply to cyborgs so far. She can fly, she can mind control others, she can shield and buff her teammates. She is so powerful she can destroy other players' equipped legendary gear and even create an entire expansion centered around herself. The best part? She's cute and she's hot af. And that's all before she reached her final form.
Man, I never realized how creepy Wanda can sometimes get when she uses her powers. It's been a long time since i watched the first few movies she appears in. But the way her powers are brought up is almost like dark, cosmic horror vibes. *Edit* So i actually kind of realized why the visuals of her powers come of as creepy to me in Age of Ultron. There was a movie in 2020 i saw a bit of, called 'Color Out of Space'. A particular scene in the movie near the end, shows visuals that are reminiscent to 0:45. Her powers there really looked otherworldly. I would even add in that there is a little bit of the Brightburn boy i see in her. The way her eyes glow, all of the red colours. It really goes to show a much darker side, even Disturbing side of Wanda. Makes you wonder at first if she was a Hero? Or actually a Villain? And to reference a clip to that other film i mentioned, i found a clear clip here th-cam.com/video/nJVU6sc5otE/w-d-xo.html
Her powers in AoU were straight up creepy looking, whereas now they just look mystical in a way, really feels like they wanted to take her in a bit of a different direction following AoU.
one thing i really liked about Wanda vs Thanos was that she was "bold enough" to fight him in melee range (I put these in quotes bc ultimately, why wouldnt she be bold with her being far superior?). She could easily keep her distance and annihilate him from afar, but she chose to fight him hand to hand, and still showed him up.
25:15 after watching Agatha all along, when she look back she was not looking at the town but she was looking at te car accident that happened and when billy got into Wiccan body so that why she look back and not only she was look for her kids but she was look for tommy but she offed herself and let Wiccan look for him, does that sound like a good theory?
@@yoyomayne - Well, then that would make Dr. Strange the most powerful, because he defeated Dormamu, sooo... can anyone claim a victory against Dr. Strange? Title fight anyone??
Marvel is truly a master of storytelling. You can see in every scene and in every plot, she nerfs herself by not using her telekinesis on any individuals. It’s only when she loses control or when she’s desperate does she remove this self-imposed constraint (see: Rumlow, Proxima ONLY when Vision screams, Revenge against Thanos, etc) If she had less control, she could easily have ripped everyone to shreds.
I unapologetically LOVE Wanda in her introduction scenes in AoU she is so goddamn creepy 😭😭😭 with those bright red eyes cast in shadow and the accelerated movement, she’s such an edgy little witch. She’s so cool
Wanda will always be my favorite female marvel superhero. Its just sad that vision died in front of her, Natasha died who is like a mother figure to her and also clint and Steve. With them, and wanda was able to control herself but without their presence, wanda's grief got worst which made her more powerful but destructive
I've noticed that Wanda's red hexes change texture slightly in Wandavision depending on the visual style of the episode. They intentionally look "cheaper" in the 70s, 80s and 2000s episodes but when their true power begins to emerge and the Hex begins to break apart, they take on a more textured, murky look.

You can see that once she goes through all the moments where she lost important people in her life & she's out in the open to confront Agatha, her powers changes. She already became scarlet witch!
Wanda is probably the most powerful person in the MCU. She created her own universe to live in inside of her head, in one of her comics she gets so upset that someone she loves dies she simply whispers, "No more mutants." And every mutant instantly ceases to exist. She can actually create and do whatever she wants whenever she wants at her full power.
I don't care what anyone says about Captain Marvel or Captain America or Thor, I think Wanda/Scarlet Witch is the strongest Avenger in many different ways and she's just going to get stronger and more powerful as she learns and grows. I think it's going to be great to watch. Can you imagine Scarlet Witch and The Dark Phoenix teaming up? I know they don't mix X-Men and Avengers because it's a different timeline but as both franchises show, timelines are merely a guideline not necessarily something that is followed generally. 🤷🏻♀️

Always loved Wanda's confident grin after she realized Thanos had no chance against her.

@@GabrieleirbaGabrieleirbag But if it was wanda neither hulk or thor would stand a chance.
what battle?
what team?
Well in the series it's been told that Wanda's destiny is to destroy the universe (or something along those lines) so i assume she's both
i remember reading about how Chaos Magic is a direct opposite of the Phoenix Force in the comics so i would guess Jean Grey is her counterpart
@@marshall879 that would be scary shit. I imagine their battle would be epic
wanda can both create and destroy. in the comics chaos magic was a myth to strange, he didn't even acknowledge the existence of the scarlet witch until he met wanda, and in the MCU they haven't interacted yet until MoM which is still upcoming, so maybe he didn't look for her cause he might also not even think of the scarlet witch and chaos magic as real things, or cause he isn't magical. he drains power from other dimensions to cast spells as the other sorcerers, but wanda is a magical being since she just displays her power without any need for incantation, it's engrained in her so strange wouldn't be the best person to give her proper training since their abilities come from different sources and ways, but another witch would, however we don't know if agatha will be on wanda's side in the future, so we leave the learning to the darkhold which basically shows wanda everything she wants and needs to know about her and her powers and skills. it's been confirmed that wandavision took place 2 years before multiverse of madness, so she's had tons of time to learn, she's like an apex magical creature with powers said to be limitless and of continuous/nonstop development, so we'll see how that goes...
oh and it's worth it to remember ab a feat of hers in the comics where she taps into the life force, which is one of the phoenix's powers, and erased almost a 100% of the mutants population and create a whole new world of her own in the exact way she wanted it to be, and the chaos wave that her feat created spread through the omniverse and affected it too.

I’m sorry but Agatha’s fate was just very scary for me to think about.
Ya
Reality warpers are kinda like that
Scary maybe, but well deserved.
I really love that line “The Scarlet Witch is not Born she is forged.” Agatha was doing the forging right before her eyes.

Its a rlly good fan theory
