When Wanda looks at the broken Wanda, slowly walked up to her, understands fully where she is coming from, since they are the same person but living different lives. Thinking that if she lost her boys, maybe she would turned out the same. That is why, she is the only who can save her, touches her chin, a little magic of love, telling her not to worry, they are here with her and being loved by a version of of her. What a beautiful scene.
838 Wanda absolutely understands our Wanda because there's a possibility she always had nightmares of our 616 Wanda since dreams are windows to universes.
The moment Wanda finally realized she had been blinded, not just by the Darkhold, but by her grief and sadness. Thanos killed the man she loved, the government literally took the man she loved, all she wanted was to live a happy family life, like in the shows she used to watch, and she was willing to literally kill herself *and* an innocent child, to do so
@idkelijah No, it's a lifetime of grief. Wanda was born into a war stricken country, lost her parents at 10 years old, was experimented on for God knows how long, she literally sensed her brother die, she watched her country get blown to bits, she had to kill her lover, then watch him bw resurrected and killed again, then subconsciously made her own kids and husband and had to erase them, then got rejected by her kids' variants. Wanda is 30 in MOM and ever since childhood, she's had back to back loss and grief and never got the time to deal with any of it. As soon as 1 grief happened, another 1 came around. Imagine living a life of 30+ years of endless grief and loss while having universal reality warping level powers.
She killed many other individuals who had their own lives and grief, leaving more people to grieve over those deaths. She was an awful character and purely evil in her actions
When Wanda tells Dr. Strange "No one will be tempted by the DarkHold again", I would dare say that was her reconciling with Dr. Strange and, on some level, thanking him for snapping her out of the DarkHold's grasp. I've likened Wanda's arc in this movie, and by extension "WandaVision", to addiction so in keeping with that angle the moment were Wanda snaps at Billy and Tommy then tries to tell them that she isn't a monster only to break down in tears was her intervention and the moment she realized, in the words of the song "Once in a Lifetime" by the band Talking Heads: my G*d, what have I done? To add to this, a friend of mine put Wanda's arc this way: "Wanda looked into a mirror and was horrified at what she saw." Movie and TV critic I am not but that's my take on it.
0:18 While I hate how Multiverse of Madnesses wrote Wanda’s character, this scene was so beautiful. It excellently displayed the two sides to Wanda’s character: the caring, empathetic woman we knew and loved from the beginning (The Hero) and the monsterous, relentless Scarlet Witch (The Villain). All the evil she’s done in this movie made it extremely difficult to sympathize with Scarlet Witch, even though we could understand her pain and trauma. Then we finally see the Alternate Wanda, who reminded us of all the good qualities we loved about her that the main version lost, And the fact that after being possessed and attacked by The Scarlet Witch, Wanda forgave and comforted her because it was display of her empathy and motherly love that the Scarlet Witch once had. And that was enough to convince the main Wanda to do the right thing for the first time of this movie. Simply put, I just found that display of Empathy and Compassion to be very moving. Maybe and I hope Wanda can redeem herself if the rumors of her survival are true
It’s a bit illogical, but I don’t blame the writers considering when this script was being written, WandaVision hadn’t been released yet. She's been deprived of having it ever since the day her parents died, and then her brother, and then vision, then the kids that she once had. It's just heartbreaking that her character's been wiped out that way.
It was all in Agatha's head. Also, when Agatha confronts Billy about what he wants from the Road, she mentions "Find mommy?". No "Resurrect mommy?", she said "FIND mommy".
I loved this scene. It will always be one of my favorites. When we look to Nature, we see Mothers, particularly Mammals, are formidable guardians of their children. Come between a mother and their offspring and you’re in trouble. Wanda just wanted her children back. We have to understand why she did what she did because it’s such a primal emotion that you cannot fight without the cost of your mental health. So she had to choose, get her children back or succumb to her emotions. Unfortunately for Wanda, she did not get her children back and she succumbed to her emotions. She didn’t want to live anymore, she lost too much and lost her battle. It’s very heartbreaking, I hope she gets a happy ending I really do. Even if she does and she’s reunited with her family. That’s also a happy ending, I want to see her happy. Everyone deserves to be happy and loved, what’s life without those things
@@hentaidude666 well, she’s a nexus being. She can do whatever she wants, the universe stated so when it bestowed her with powers on par with that of a Goddess.

I just realized the scene of Wanda on her knees kinda calls back to her falling on her knees during Pietro's death scene and I know exactly what friends I need to torture with this information
This was the last movie before my brother and best friend died a month later 😢…we enjoyed all things Marvel and DC…together yes we had our own opinions on everything marvel and dc but we always came to a agreement that no matter what the critics said we enjoyed all of them…❤
@Sad B!tch It's an idea just like they could have had Death appear and take Thanos at the end of Infinity War at the end instead of crumbling to dust! But hey ho...
At its heart MoM is a story of loss/heartbreak and grieving in the most destructive ways. Losing yourself, hurting your loved ones, harming yourself every step of the way. This scene conveys that self forgiveness and compassion (838 Wanda forgiving Scarlet Witch Wanda for choosing her to be a conduit of her pain, literally) is what saves the day given there was no possible way of overpowering her. Raimi/Olsen knocked it out of the park with this take on one of marvel’s most tortured characters
I think we will find out that when the temple she was destroying here collapses on her that her chaos magic saved her by maybe teleporting her somewhere else or by some other means. If you watch the clip you see an eruption of red chaos magic when the temple collapses down the mountain. I'm sure many think this is Wanda's life being snuffed out, but I think it's the opposite, her being saved.
@@the_o_man Did they though? It says that by collapsing Mount Wundagore she "ended two great threats to the multiverse". Wanda became herself again after seeing how terrified Billy and Tommy were of her. Which means that she's not gonna be a bad guy anymore aka she's not a threat anymore. That doesn't mean that she's dead. Wanda "died" in the comics too and she came back and did atone for her actions. Her sons are incredibly important moving forward, Vision is still out there trying to get his humanity back, Agatha is wreaking havoc again and Kang is the greatest multiversal threat to date. All of these plotlines NEED her. She's too important to the franchise. Feige has been very vague about her being dead or not. There is no reason to be like that if the goal was to have her be dead anyway. Especially to confirm it in a book that not every Marvel fan will read anyway. All of this tells me that she's not dead.
There's a piece of tragic irony in the way Wanda goes down: She survived a building collapse as a child (when her apartment was bombed), caused one as a hero (the accident in Lagos) and chooses to die in one on Wundagore. If she didn't have PTSD before, she definitely will now. No wonder she picked a little cabin in the wilderness last time, she's never going near a sky-scraper again after this.
Spoilers… According to the Official Timeline Book, Wanda did die when destroying the Darkholds in every multiverse. It’s sad we won’t see her again that doesn’t mean that her alternate self and kids can’t return for future projects.
Even though I hate that this movie undoes the arc of Wanda coming to terms with her grief, facing her losses & acknowledging who she is at the end of WandaVision, I do like that, in the end of this movie, the only person able to get through to Wanda is herself. Granted its another version of herself, but it serves it's purpose in making Wanda take a good, hard look at the destruction she's committed and seeing that she's become an object of fear to even those she loves. It takes having herself look at what she's become and still offering some comfort and grace to make her go "I have to stop."
I didn't think this was where things were going at the end of WandaVision. She is persuaded to dismantle the Hex thus wiping her kids from " existence ". It never made sense to me having been through that painful process she's then go full mass murderer. It's like her arc in WandaVision never happened.
her arc was her coming to terms with the fact what she made wasnt real. she grieves the life she COULD have had. (on top of the fact the show clearly shows her as the villain. she wasnt wronged by sword. ) This movie is about her chasing a life we we know is a real possibility for her. rewatch wandavision. the ends not so cheery on a second watch.
Her arc in Wandavision was geting over the grief of losing Vision, but she ended up losing her kids as well, a completely different kind of grief that the show didn't even show her overcoming Her arc in MOM does not ignore Wandavision's, quite the contrary: it completes it
@@MarceloSilva-kp7mc but Wanda Vision's ending was like the kids are needing help. This movie doesn't answer that. When I am watching MoM, I was really confused on how the story goes since I thought MoM's storyline would somehow revolve around Wanda finding her child and save them from something evil. MoM's plot doesn't make sense when you actually saw WandaVision.
@@jhumelquides540 I think it was more like, her perspective on what was happening, as if the Darkhold was putting the idea in her head that her children were in danger so she wanted to look for them
@@MarceloSilva-kp7mc But then again that wasn't even discussed in the movie. That's why I find MoM really senseless since Wanda just want to be with her children. That's it.
I love how Doctor understands Wanda at the end. Even he thought she’s so evil at the beginning, after his trip across the multiverse, he finds out how easily anyone could fall for the corruption of the Darkhold, including his alternated selves. Grief, despair, jealousy, hopelessness, driven by those anyone could become a monster.
Technically there is still 1 darkhold left since strange has photographic memory and he flipped through the pages of the darkhold. We can assume he has a “copy” of it in his brain.
@@kaizoisevil technically to make spells one must utter it or in high level one must just think of the spell/incantation to make it true. So if you memorize the spell and how it works you can perform any spell and to only know if it works or not is to try it.
@@xMomoee well to a Normal human but strange is a former sorcerer supreme. He already has that talent long before he went to kamel taj which is also the reason why he’s able to master spells far more advanced in a quicker pace than most people. So who knows it already shows his corruption after using the darkhold which would normally be the black fingertips but in his and sinister strange’s case the 3rd eye. That could potentially be his mind’s eye where what he sees can be stored in his brain like a photographic memory. Kinda strange tho the corruption only happens due to continuous use of the darkhold he only uses it once yet his corruption already shows itself. Makes you wonder if he visited that memory and remembered a few pages that he saw. 🤷♂️🤷♂️
She just wanted her children back. What would you do if your children were taken from you and then you hear them screaming for help? You’re gonna jump into action as well. Now that you know they’re alive somewhere out there, you’ll never give up to be with them again. A parents love is the truest love. Even though what Wanda was doing was evil, she was doing it out of Love. Maybe that’s why the Daekhold had difficulty fully manipulating her
Doesn’t justify shit.. Wrong is wrong..destroying people because of imaginary children and a robot husband? No way in hell that gives her the right to justify pure evil
so touching. Because once I lost everything, (bankrupt, almost homeless) I love someone, I had to leave the town and move to big city. Usually feel alone.
Remember that this Wanda lives in the same world as Xavier - and she is Magneto’s daughter in the comics, and possibly might be so in this universe as well. It’s not much of a stretch to assume she and Xavier knew each other. You can see a lot of Xavier’s calm and wise influence on Wanda in the way she approaches her broken counterpart.
I just noticed, every sam ram superhero movie the villain always end up sacrificing themselves or dying at their own hand. Green Goblin - His own glider Doc Ock - drowned with his fusion reactor Venom/eddie - jumped into the explosion of ooze Wanda/Scarlet Witch - bringing down the dark hold temple. Her whereabouts are unknown if she is truly dead or not.
If MCU had balls, America would have jumped to her death, wanda would go insane and she would blast Strange into oblivion. The movie would end with Strange saying to Wong: “We need to assemble the avengers”. The following movie would see Wanda turn everyone into mutants hoping that one person would have the same powers America Had.
now that i think about it, all of this can simply be solved by adopting some kids for herself. did she ever consider that option? instead of dreamwalking, running rampant chasing a little girl, and had to fight dr. strange and kamartaj. so much for the easy route i guess.
Didn't they say that the Darkhold exists in every reality? And that there was apparently only one copy of the Book of the Vishanti - which they kind of had to do since they made it into a wish-granting thing.
There is Darkhold exist in Every reality but Wanda destroyed it Also Every Darkhold in Multiverse is Fake there is Only one True Darkhold that is made by flesh of cthon along side with His power Tho In Darkhold Omega Scarlet witch absorb its power and Cthon himself.
That temple in the mountain there is the original Darkhold that Chthon himself wrote into the walls and then transcribed into the book, then making multiversal copies of it in every reality. Wanda destroying the temple inadvertently erased every Darkhold copy in the multiverse, so no more Book Of Vishanti and no more Darkhold.
Seems like when Wanda's demons took over they called the demon side of her along with herself the Scarlet witch. Doctor strange in this sense would be Scarlet's "angel/guiding spirit to come back to herself." This explains why he was the only one left and never went through the portal. This is why he was the only one able to dream walk into her world because he was an astral being.

No matter she sacrifice is not going to help her be a hero again because all the power and it’s been wasted by a crazy broken girl who is still not ready to let it all go she still the same broken Sokovia girl that she was when she was a little girl when her parents was killed right in front of her and all that pain she could’ve moved on with her life but instead, she had to go this far
Multiverse Madness was terrible because they made Dr Strange a side character in his own movie. And for the record this script sounds just as bad if not worse than the one we got. I would have preferred them doing actual sequel thats picks up with what the real Baron Mordo did instead of turning it into throwaway line.

She's been deprived of having it ever since the day her parents died, and then her brother, and then vision, then the kids that she once had. It's just heartbreaking that her character's been wiped out that way.
I think u marvel nuts forget that no matter what , wr all perish some day
I've never LOVED HER MORE!!!!!!!!, than NOW!!!!
never saw the movies!!!! only the clips!!!! good enough for me
cheers to all

- Agatha All Along season 1 episode 1
Could be a fake body
It was all in Agatha's head. Also, when Agatha confronts Billy about what he wants from the Road, she mentions "Find mommy?". No "Resurrect mommy?", she said "FIND mommy".
She is the onlyone who can understand herself.❤
I LOVED this movie cuz I just love Wanda. She was so amazing. My comfort film honestly.
Imagine sympathizing with someone who murders senselessy because she had trauma.
@@hentaidude666 well, she’s a nexus being. She can do whatever she wants, the universe stated so when it bestowed her with powers on par with that of a Goddess.
@@hera7884 is not being powerful all that's stopping you from murdering hundreds and leaving like it was nothing? Since when has "with great power comes great responsibility" been discarded with glee and replaced with "I'm the top now, let's enforce my will on everyone"
She isn't a sympathetic villain, she's a psychopathic narcissistic one dimensional character with absolute disregard for any consequences. They wasted the potential with Scarlet Witch to write another "boo hoo I'm sad so nothing I do is wrong" archetype villain.
Mental health doesn't give you a pass
@@hentaidude666Maybe they should’ve helped her instead of fighting her. She just wanted to be with her children again, there’s nothing wrong in that. She obviously didn’t need to take her powers, that was the Darkholds corruption taking hold of Wanda. Even Strange knew the Darkhold corrupts everything and everyone it touches.
I think you are a child, or you have the mind of one at least, please stop talking to me. I find talking to you to be a waste of time.
@@hera7884 If you are too dense to understand the simple concept "The road to hell is paved in good intentions" then maybe you have the mind of a child; or at least someone who never had an idea or counter argument proposed for her entire life.
This was an embarrassment of a film, and you're welcome to be ignorant and try to sympathize with horrible writers; but don't let me try to educate you; after all you know better as a mother who raised children - who don't love her.
It’s sad watching this after Agatha All Along because if she had just waited, she probably would have been able to find her sons in their new bodies without killing hordes of people across universes.
And perhaps keep them from Agatha, who'll surely corrupt Billy.
after this moment Wanda is
in a dormant state in the "Witches Road" and will return for Kang Dynasty, Secret Wars and her first Solo Movie event.
She will be back ain’t no fooling me marvel
Apparently its confirmed this is how she died
@@vfxcreations4199they would say that
@@vfxcreations4199 true but 838 Wanda is coming
I just realized the scene of Wanda on her knees kinda calls back to her falling on her knees during Pietro's death scene and I know exactly what friends I need to torture with this information
This was the last movie before my brother and best friend died a month later 😢…we enjoyed all things Marvel and DC…together yes we had our own opinions on everything marvel and dc but we always came to a agreement that no matter what the critics said we enjoyed all of them…❤
Thank you for sharing your memories with them with us.
Always found it a shame that as part of the end credits... The book looked like it self repaired but Chthon appears and takes it away with him!
@Sad B!tch It's an idea just like they could have had Death appear and take Thanos at the end of Infinity War at the end instead of crumbling to dust! But hey ho...
Where did you see that happen because I never did?
When.
Isn't she in some kind of dormant state in the witches road now? I think i read that somewhere from an apparantly very reliable source.
I hope so, it makes me sad thinking she won't appear in future films.
Marvel confirmed she's dead
@@mellemadswoestenburg1296they did confirm our wanda is dead
There's a piece of tragic irony in the way Wanda goes down:
She survived a building collapse as a child (when her apartment was bombed), caused one as a hero (the accident in Lagos) and chooses to die in one on Wundagore.
If she didn't have PTSD before, she definitely will now. No wonder she picked a little cabin in the wilderness last time, she's never going near a sky-scraper again after this.
This is kinda what I wanna do to myself sometimes. The weight of depression and immense loss is too unbearable at times.
🫂
Hang in there. Each day as it comes. Life at times is miserable for some of us, but also glorious beyond belief! Peace and wellbeing to you. 😊
I hope to see her again
you will soon
"No one will ever be tempted by the darhold again"
Agatha: Thats where you're wrong, kiddo 😎
Spoilers…
According to the Official Timeline Book, Wanda did die when destroying the Darkholds in every multiverse. It’s sad we won’t see her again that doesn’t mean that her alternate self and kids can’t return for future projects.
That book can say whatever it wants. We don't see Wanda's corpse, meaning she isn't dead.
@@varricfr they're just saying that so that when she does come back we're shocked
The female characters of Marvel are amazing.
Ssshhhhh, don't allow the Captain Marvel haters read your post 🤣.
Now that both Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are dead, let's finally get rid of the retcon that they are not the children of Magneto.
Her arc in Wandavision was geting over the grief of losing Vision, but she ended up losing her kids as well, a completely different kind of grief that the show didn't even show her overcoming
Her arc in MOM does not ignore Wandavision's, quite the contrary: it completes it
@@MarceloSilva-kp7mc but Wanda Vision's ending was like the kids are needing help.
But does any of the text he remembers have power? Or is it now powerless?
@@kaizoisevil technically to make spells one must utter it or in high level one must just think of the spell/incantation to make it true. So if you memorize the spell and how it works you can perform any spell and to only know if it works or not is to try it.
Lol Photographic memory doesn't work like you look at it in 1-5 second and you just remember everything in it, it doesn't work like a Screenshot.
@@titano8808 Being an sorcerer supreme doesn't change How Photographic memory works
Recently, there has been an official update that wanda died in this movie
NOOOOO
She didn’t their bluffing
No, they didn't. They just pulled a Bucky.
That red light wasn’t her dying, that was Cthon’s seal being broken
She just wanted her children back.
What would you do if your children were taken from you and then you hear them screaming for help? You’re gonna jump into action as well. Now that you know they’re alive somewhere out there, you’ll never give up to be with them again. A parents love is the truest love.
Even though what Wanda was doing was evil, she was doing it out of Love. Maybe that’s why the Daekhold had difficulty fully manipulating her
Doesn’t justify shit.. Wrong is wrong..destroying people because of imaginary children and a robot husband? No way in hell that gives her the right to justify pure evil
You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain is more accurate than ever
so touching.
Green Goblin - His own glider
Doc Ock - drowned with his fusion reactor
Venom/eddie - jumped into the explosion of ooze
Wanda/Scarlet Witch - bringing down the dark hold temple. Her whereabouts are unknown if she is truly dead or not.
In the original comics, the Green Goblin also got finished by his glider.
I thought she was going to get punched in the face by other self in this scene 😂
I have know idea what Wanda said to scarlet witch
"Know that they'll be loved"
She will be back for sure.
It really was both a throne and a tomb
Honestly, they should have let Wanda have America's powers and make her the main villain for phase 5/6.
That's some solid idea
This movie was awesome and only my opinion matters
If MCU had balls, America would have jumped to her death, wanda would go insane and she would blast Strange into oblivion. The movie would end with Strange saying to Wong: “We need to assemble the avengers”.
The following movie would see Wanda turn everyone into mutants hoping that one person would have the same powers America Had.
She could've survived, but I'm hoping if she did, she be a hero again, an Avenger.
I do not agree with this movie ending honestly. But now that scarlet witch is gone, there’s no need for me to watch the avengers or mcu anymore
I’m 99% sure she ain’t dead
Agatha All Along and VisionQuest: Not so fast!!
now that i think about it, all of this can simply be solved by adopting some kids for herself. did she ever consider that option? instead of dreamwalking, running rampant chasing a little girl, and had to fight dr. strange and kamartaj. so much for the easy route i guess.
She can adopt kids yes, but it is not the same as having a biological kid of her own.
Well I think she wanted the two exact children she lost in WandaVision, not just have any children
She’ll be back
It was at this moment that she knew...
she f***ed up
She deserves better ending?
This movie should’ve been named “The Scarlet Witch.”
The scarlet witch might have died, but I hope we get to see wanda in the future
Classic Sam rami with dock ock sacrifice but here it’s wanda
Wanda: I will not die a monster.
I do wonder where the alternative version of Vision is for this alternative Wanda or who the father of variant Wanda's children is.
Back in October of 2022 I was like this feels so weird to see this scene again after I finished Stranger Things Season 4
I/we all would like to know is Wanda REALLY dead or not & who exactly did Doctor Strange break it to the other Avengers? Just asking that's all!
Tbh i liked the movie but I WANT WANDA BACK SHE WAS SUCH A GREAT CHARACTER 🫠and she got wasted
I know it a sad clip, but scarlet witch is still alive.
RIP Scarlet Witch 🪦😭😢
Dr. Strange knew the only way to bring her back to reality was her "kids" seeing her as a monster.
Apparently they confirmed she actually died in this scene
Nope, they used wordplay. They never literally said that Wanda died, only that she erased two big threats: the Darkhold and her Scarlet Witch persona.
Good riddance.
idc what anyone says I love this film,, reminded me of the Maguire trilogy with the music (I think it's Danny Elfman?)
That was the momment the scarlet witch became an avenger again
The whole “Character redeems themselves just before they die” trope is happening more and more frequently.
I feel really bad for wanda as she's not a monster but made to be one
You should feel sorry for every damn human on earth who does evil shit then
I wonder what agatha series will do.. will she save wanda in any way??
Before you go, you're gonna forget who we are. But when maybe we'll meet again, I'll see you soon.

Yo she really just couldn’t catch a win.
Yeah I hated that they killed off Wanda
