The owner did an awesome job restoring the Travel Queen. Thank you for sharing your time at the truck camper rally.

That 1968 Travel Queen was so cool! An incredible amount of work must’ve gone into that project.
The Kingstar Camino 88 has to be one of the most innovative designs I’ve seen in a long time. Very cool!

Love the Kingstrar, made very strong, the bath was amazing, they thought of everything, and the stainless steel roof ,and the construction of the camper is very strong, stainless steel tanks ,and the brackets for the electric jacks are the strongest I've seen,

Those Kingstar campers are awesome, I've been eyeballing them at the Quartszite Camper Rally the last couple years, very nice! Definitely my top choice when I move on from my Host!

I like the side storage on the king star !

The Kingstar looks more like a small condo on the inside than it does a truck camper, and the outside looks clean and sporty! All of that stainless steel makes it look rugged and durable too!

We bought the Kingstar that D&H had on their lot. Shakedown trip starts Monday.

We enjoyed the camper tours and especially the Travel Queen. It was also nice to meet you and we enjoyed chatting - now when we watch your videos you are "real" to us. If you ever need to mooch-dock on your way north in the middle peninsula area of Virginia, we have space and are in the middle of the forest.

Hey Steve, It was nice to meet you both at the rally. We enjoyed chatting as well. We would love to come up that way someday. It’s pretty in Virginia. We may reach out if we do. Till next time safe travels!

Back in the day we use to call the "Travel Queen" the Dairy Queen. My first truck camper was 8ft but only partially cabover. No bathroom, ice box, no heater, pretty basic; 2nd one the wife saw the bath room (porta potty only, no shower. The ones that did would pick up a smell that wasn't very pleasant) and it was a dun deal. No gray tank & no black tank. Catalytic heater, ice box (refer's were not too dependable then) It was a 9.5 ft with a queen sized cabover bed. Pretty basic, but that's how they were in the early 70's. We thought we were flying 1st class though.

I love truck campers. I would own or collect every one of them if I could. It's obvious you and Carla feel the same way.

Thank you for taking time to do these videos. I recently lost my 26dbh forest River grey wolf and been checking out other options to keep travelling. I have a 10 to daughter that will end up with me soon as well so looking at 2 person options is the trick. But I have enjoyed all the options you shared on these two videos. I wrote most of them down so I can compare them later. Happy traveling y'all.

Jordan Lake is 2 hr drive from the ocean, it is south of Raleigh, NC. That is a fresh water clam. Thanks for going thru the many campers. Great video. I am looking to buy a Host Cascade 10.5 or an Arctic Fox 1140 dry bath. Haven’t decided yet which one but do have the truck nailed down. Definitely getting a Ford F-550 chassis and put on a CM flat truck bed.

Wow! That Arctic Fox 1150 ...And thank you to all the owners for sharing your camper. They are amazing. Question: 2023 F350 dually SuperCab XL w/4wd, 4:30 rear and the Godzilla 7.3 gasser be the ticket for safely hauling that camper or should I drop down to a Reg Cab and pick up more payload ?

You guys should check out an Arctic Fox 865! They are awesome campers with the floor plan having the rear dinette, Center bath, and 180 degree windows at the back! They also have cathedral ceilings, and are the only arctic fox that is offered in a non slide variant!

I just worry like crazy about slide outs on truck campers and they maybe fine but I could not buy one unless trading every 3-5 years Northern Lites or Bigfoot’s only way I would go !!
