The only gripe I have with OoE is that (imo) Dracula really should have had a demon form in this game. I mean, the whole game is about using Dracula's own dark powers to finally destroy him once and for all. As much as I like Dracula's general design (doesn't he look kinda like Walter Sullivan?) in OoE, I think his second "form" was quite underwhelming.
Oddly enough, I seem to find this game easier than the previous two DS titles. It was the one I played last, and yet the first one I beat. I also beat Barlowe with cubus, the stone block glyph. Let me tell you, it's hilarious seeing him run into the blocks while he's trying to punch me across the room!
Hjori Centifolia i think the reason is that he would be unbeatable in 2nd form without the power of the vampire killer, so shanoa should use the dominus glyph quickly before dracula's 2nd form

Tem certos momentos que da pra ver nitidamente que o ataque do boss acertou, ainda mais se você jogou recentemente e sabe bem como é receber tal ataque... um bom exemplo 28:57 e 29:00...
The bosses that gave me the most trouble my first play through were Death, Wallman, Blackmore, and Dracula. Although I died to about half of them at least once. But to be fair, it was the first Castlevania game I played on the DS.
You know, the first time I beat Dracula in this game (after many attempts) I did so with no damage. I wasn't even intending that, I was just putting the Death Ring on and taking it off when he did a hard to dodge attack because I felt he had a lot of HP, along with just about every boss, more or less. It just so happened when I finally took him down I had taken no hits.
Even now I will forever find it funny that Dracula's main gimmick that sets this fight apart from all the others is that he actually uses his freaking legs.
The bosses in this game are so good. I could never beat the stupid shark in my own run, but I did boss rush on my uncle's profile and could get to Eligor in that. I think I also beat Dracula except for casting dominous on his profile, he's surprisingly easy in this game compared to some of the other bosses.
An easier way to take on Jiang Shi (Chinese vampire secret boss) and Dracula is to equip melio scutum. It takes care of their dangerous projectiles. Still, looking on how they are handled here is rewarding.

Donel Daley i beat all four modes, but i want to beat the game using only the skeleton and the bear, but thats gonna be pretty hard

Isn't that first boss the thing from Contra?
Yup :) The Arthroverta was in Super C. Makes sense since Konami also created the Contra series.
***** I know ^^
Demon Beast Kimkoh. Plus, Toho Inc Should Raise A Copyright Strike For Stealing Godzilla Roar At Arthroverta's Death!
#WorstCastlevaniaEver
Ash Williams Worst was Castlevania 64.
Some woman told Dracula walk the earth as man do he might like it.
I hope that in a future Shanoa or Soma get into Smash
Me too but too OP lol
Sora: :]

Barlowe's laugh is more frightening in japanese, but his insults to Shanoa in the english dub are te best.
Oddly enough, I seem to find this game easier than the previous two DS titles. It was the one I played last, and yet the first one I beat. I also beat Barlowe with cubus, the stone block glyph. Let me tell you, it's hilarious seeing him run into the blocks while he's trying to punch me across the room!
those dodges during destruction rain + wolf combo = godlike ;)
Probably one of my all time favorite Castlevaina games. Absolute masterpiece
Wait what? You're telling me that Dracula has no second form?
What is this blasphemy!
Yeah but he walks!
When he starts walking he already taken the 2nd form, and that form was no joke.
Hjori Centifolia i think the reason is that he would be unbeatable in 2nd form without the power of the vampire killer, so shanoa should use the dominus glyph quickly before dracula's 2nd form
Yuki Hana This. You can actually avoid his final attack, but he ceaselessly casts it. Killing him first is the only way here.
Dracula: BEHOLD MY TRUE FORM AND DESPAIR!!! *stands up smugly* I CAN WALK B*TCH!!! MUAHAHAHA!
Shanoa: ....
One way to kill Albus faster is to use Dark Glyphs since he is weak to them
Also the same with Barlowe, but with Light Glyphs

Apparently, a Giant Crab watched MGM's Tom and Jerry shorts.
Don't remember where, but pulling a finger from your other hand to launch it with such force is one gag from the toons.

Dang man..this boss must be inspired by raoh from hokuto no ken...even before death he punched his fist into The top
Ok, so in the time between dying and getting resurrected just to be killed again, Dracula decided to go to the Rugal school to learn the Genocide Cutter
Dissonant Courage is officially my favorite Castlevania boss theme now.
dude, i just come here to remember the bosses and now i'm crying, god what a game 😢

Was Dracula trying to flirt with Shanoa?
Laura Tang Yes
It's called pleasantries. Tsk* can't men take a break.
UNBREAKABLE - beats me.
Am I flirting with you rn?
I thought he's supposed to have a thing for blondes.
27:35 the blue orbs can be destroyed with Scutum.
Blackmore is fricking hard to beat without being hit... Great video, great game!
Tem certos momentos que da pra ver nitidamente que o ataque do boss acertou, ainda mais se você jogou recentemente e sabe bem como é receber tal ataque... um bom exemplo 28:57 e 29:00...
Suspicious....but I came to see the girl throw big rocky arms so I'm alright with ut.
barlowe: "what did i tell you about the candy?
them sweeties gonna give you diabetes."
Love the reference
Can we have an animated series of this game?
How often did that castle fall into pieces at the end of a Castlevania game? Who is rebuilding it every time again?
the castle is a chaotic creature Alucard says this to Maria in the sotn, he has several incarnations
THis was actually one of my favorite Castlevania games.
Same
When I saw the first boss, my thought was, “When did this become Contra?”
Real glad to see the player using Lapiste. Always did like that Glyph. :)
The bosses that gave me the most trouble my first play through were Death, Wallman, Blackmore, and Dracula. Although I died to about half of them at least once. But to be fair, it was the first Castlevania game I played on the DS.
When an ad for airwick pops up in the middle of the Dracula fight and completely kills the atmosphere:/
bettter than cosmetic ad lol
You know, the first time I beat Dracula in this game (after many attempts) I did so with no damage. I wasn't even intending that, I was just putting the Death Ring on and taking it off when he did a hard to dodge attack because I felt he had a lot of HP, along with just about every boss, more or less.
It just so happened when I finally took him down I had taken no hits.
Even now I will forever find it funny that Dracula's main gimmick that sets this fight apart from all the others is that he actually uses his freaking legs.
That Skeleton boss' backwards four legged walk is scary AF.
