I know I'm late to the party, but can I point out how fucking brilliant it is that the sound of Mecha Ridley's eye blinking sets the rhythm for the escape theme? Also, how the Space Pirate ship that Samus borrows at the end is resemblant (in shape) of her Metroid Prime 1 & 2 ship? The details put into this game are astounding.
wow, you can no damage Mecha Ridley. I´ve tried many times but can´t do it. Good job man!
its too easy anyway. now if he got 100% of all powerups, hes a powerhouse...
Remember, if you see something that looks like a weak point, chances are it probably is
The graphics in this are amazing for a handheld game from this generation!
The graphics are literally for a GBA which was 17 years ago
@@Dark_Wolf0626 This generation == that generation. He's talking about how good it looks for a GBA, not on the Switch smartass.
Also it does look amazing, came out just before the DS and they really knew how to use the GBA soundchip and not make games look terrible for OG GBA screen support.
@@gu3z185 btw, I know the graphics are not for the switch dumbass. And GBA was my absolute favorite handheld.
@@Dark_Wolf0626 I thought you believed that Daniel was remarking about how the graphics are good for the Switch. Otherwise you wouldn't feel the need to clarify that it was for the GBA, because he obviously knew that.
Sorry if my comment was a fustercluck
@@gu3z185 ah, no worries, misunderstandings happen all the time.
That opening track gets me in the feels man :’)
cute fly: oh hi I wa- *gets frozen* cute fly: I WILL GET U DIS TIME
"And since the loss of his empire... Ridley swore vengeance upon this warrior... The Chazos chosen... Samus"
I remember This game as a kid i played it so many times and played normal and hard mode and got 96% of items. Also beating bosses with items you couldnt get like the boss in kaird or something like that, i had super missels at that time and the vaira suit. I beat the game without change beam, wave beam and tried it without ice and screwattack and its kind of impossible because you need ice to frezze the metroids and screwattack to break that wall when you get the full power suit
Btw i played this on the gameboy Adv
Wow I'm impressed
There are many upgrades you can skip in this game, including long beam, charge beam, maybe wave beam, high jump, accelerator...
There's even a special picture at the end of the game if you can beat it with less than 15% items, which makes you chose between super missiles, high jump or more health, stuff like that.
I remember when I had to beat Mother Brain on hard, with 5 missiles + 1 super, one health bar and a half, and no speed boost, so I had to bomb jump my way to the ship. I got insanely lucky and I won't be doing this again, but the gallery is worth it.
It's been so long I forgot how great the sprites and colours were in this game.
Holy shit you flat out murdered Kraid.
Damn I remember encountering that first boss the first time as a kid. *scared the living SHIT out of me* that and the second boss just gave me chills for some reason
I used to get Varia before that worm and even when the acid rose, I'd sit there laughing, because Varia removes all orange acid damage
My second favorite throughout the whole series :D
The Kraid section was kinda funny. Took him out in like six seconds. Took me 8 tries to finally kill him.
The Mecha-Ridley is too easy for a final boss fight, even Mother Brain is harder.
Mettallux Mecha Ridley Is So Easy Even Kraid Is Harder
Ridley HIMSELF is much harder.
Mettallux I won't say that on hard mode. If you get hit by his claw, you take severe damage. 3-4 hits is lethal in hard mode.
get every item 100% and he's fucking hard to bead on hardest difficulty
That's because he's not on hard mode. Hard mode Mecha Ridley is so much harder.
What part of your brain were you thinking with when you out the final boss of the game in the thumbnail? I knew and didn't get spoiled but someone out there might. It's such a huge surprise to since it wasn't even part of the original Metroid 1.
Love how Samus just jacks that guys ride at the end and leaves him there with the bomb
Uno de los mejores remakes de toda la historia del videojuego
Awesome job,you know how to take out the salt.
7:21 "It was at this moment, samus knew, she, fucked up"

Some person playing for first time: 😱WTF IS THAT?!
ブラックゼーベスをノーダメで倒すのマジすげー
Hey shadowserg! Do you actually do boss rushes for Nintendo games?
4:09 when your friend steals your thing and you anger
What emulator did you use? Cause the sprites were looking really fluid, especially samus, she didn't even looked pixelated
0:45 nice
Metroid Zero Mission: * looks like metroid fusion *
Ridly: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA shit here we go again
This did everything better then the original save files they have a map and the kraid and Ridley we all know and love
You can finish the game without fighting Imago
You can finish the game without fighting Imago, the Acid Worm or Kiro Giro (Imago Larva form after Wave Beam)
With the help of sequence break
I've said it before, sir -- but it bears repeating...
...YOU ARE A BEAST! !!
Mad respect from Colombia, South America ✊🏽
That giant flying hornet.
Just
What the fuck?
my thoughts exactly
Smashing!
it's not a hornet, it's a full grown imago.
The boss fight with the flying rippers and the Imago dying in the plants (That uses a Spore Spawn boss fight remix) grows into the giant bug thing. The giant bugs are actually the larva form of it.
I always hated the bug monsters in the metroid games, that buzzing sound, want to swat my ears
what are twin heads for? they wake up after killing a couple of bosses. what is the point of them? @ 4:44
Doesn’t she soon catch up with the pirate frigate Orpheus after escaping (dovetailing into Metroid Prime)?
How did you manage those artlike graphics? It doesnt look pixelated at all!
Veloxcene TF it looks awful IMO
It's a filter
