    Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for this video. I got inspired and purchased my running boards on Ebay and installed them today. Even though I had 3 pages; front and back; of explicit instructions, your video was much easier to follow and I was able to do it all myself. Me, a 65 year old woman laying under a Van drilling holes and installing running boards as the neighbors watched from across the street. My neighbor works on cars all the time and gave me a big smile and a thumbs up on the install. Too funny!!

    FWIW I’m installing an iBoard running board(s) for a 2014 Ram Promaster. My instructions have you put the second, smaller support bracket on the outside of the pinch weld, rather than the inside. Probably doesn’t make much difference! But they might be easier to fit on the outer side. I haven’t looked yet (still on the sofa, reading)!

    • @JonniesJourney
      @JonniesJourney  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That is correct now.

    • @debbadgooddeb1729
      @debbadgooddeb1729 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ahhh … but on a 2014 Promaster, it may have to be done on the inside - so I’m glad I saw your video, or “inside” would not have occurred to me as an option. On the drivers side at least, there’s no way I can fit those brackets on the outside, even though I’d like to cuz that’s a much easier position to drill in! I haven’t gotten that far on the passenger side. Thanks for the video.

    Most Excellent!! This was exactly what I was looking for as I am tired of trying to get in and out of my van without breaking my back or banging my knee. I use my Promaster to haul my stuff to and from festivals that I vend at. Thank you!!

    I just received my running boards and it seem to have threaded inserts instead the rubber plugs on the very front body area, for the large front brackets. I think I'm going to have to get some 8mm bolts instead of using the bolt plates...

    Do you have a video for installing the driver side board? I am trying to and it appears that the factory holes are too far apart for the mounting brackets. Was hoping to see a video of the driver side installation to see if I'm doing something wrong. Thanks

    • @JonniesJourney
      @JonniesJourney  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am so sorry I did not. but mine lined up perfectly. Wonder if maybe its the bracket that me be off.

    • @goyankspa1
      @goyankspa1 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@JonniesJourney thanks. There appear to be three factory drilled holes on the driver side. When I try to use the hole more to the front, the step is not long enough to reach the last hole. I installed using the 2nd and 3rd holes, which the step fits, however, it is further back than the passenger side. Not sure if they put holes in different places in the 2020 model
