Not me watching this @ 5 months pregnant and sobbing thinking about when my baby is born.....
Fr though this was wonderful to watch and put me at ease. So many moms want to hit me with how "awful" it's going to be once baby gets here, and it was magical seeing you have a night with baby that was peaceful and loving. Thank you for this video! 💗💗

I thought my insomnia growing up was bad but now being at home with a one month old I barely get any sleep at all. It's incredible how our bodies learn to adjust to barely getting any rest or sleep after going through 9 months of pregnancy, giving birth, and then caring for our babies once they arrive. My daughter wakes up about 3 to 4 times a night for feedings and diaper changes. I'm exhausted but my body seems to run on a natural high.

thank you for sharing your experience.. @@Iamjessicakouassi I find people who try to convince themselves that they're happy (aka "im running on a natural high") in spite of their struggles (aka sleep deprivation) really invalidating for what women truly experience post partum. I cant imagine how much they're also truly struggling trying to put up a front.

What pillow do you use for breastfeeding? I love that shape, it seems much easier to use than traditional breastfeeding pillows. I have yet to find one that is comfortable

I was so blessed both my boys (well not really boy's anymore they are 22 n 20) were good sleeper's and only woke up 2x a night. I used formula and my husband and i would tag team feeding. My first started sleeping all night at 3 weeks and my second at 4 weeks. I remember my friends baby was 8 months and waking up every 3 hours and i couldn't understand why until she informed me that my situation was not the norm at all. Props to all the moms and dads who can function on a few hours of sleep!😴
