Watching this to see how I can support my wife in our nightly routine. Our daughters 2 weeks old and we love her so much. Being a dad has changed my life forever. That nursing at 3am ain’t no joke! I try to keep my wife company and have light conversations to keep her awake. The nights are tough but we are getting through it. Thanks for all the great suggestions in your video!!! Respect 💯
Congrats! Have you considered doing a dream feed from a bottle 2ish hours after baby goes to sleep for the night-- it can really help her get more sleep
My husband bought me a gliding rocker that reclines. This was if I fell asleep baby and I were both safe. He also makes my breakfast so I can sleep in as much as possible. The little things help a lot.
It will happen for you and it will be when you least expect it... I promise you... I felt the same way and one visit to the hospital (not pregnancy curiosity related) and the nurse told me I was pregnant I thought I was dreaming but it was very much real
This made my pregnant self so emotional in all ways. Thank you for capturing these moments and for your inspiration. I'm truly looking forward to these moments with my baby boy as well
I remember those nights. Watching this makes me miss them so bad. I was so ready for them to be over when it was happening but now that my baby is sleeping so much better through the night, this makes me go back to think about how much time I really got to spend with him during nights like this. It’s a beautiful feeling. Cherish these moments mamas!
It’s so comforting to see your baby wake up just wiggling about and even smiling most of the time (in this video). My newborn just wails and screams every time she wakes up 😅 makes me jump straight up to a sitting position in sheer panic 😆
Same! This baby looks so chill. Our baby is almost three weeks old and if it takes a second too long for me to react to his hunger cues in the middle of the night he will just start screaming at the top of his lungs. 😅 Still absolutely worth it for this cute little guy.
I have to give you props. I'm a mom myself and I can't imagine filming a video like this AND taking care of a newborn and then you have to edit and upload as well. Girl, I don't know how you did it, but you had to have worked hard. You're very inspiring!
I absolutely love how positive this video is. You can feel the love by just watching how you care for him. I know it’s tough but you didn’t complain and you understand how much of a blessing it is to take care of your baby. Thank you for this! ❤️
Thanks for sharing… I thought that wrapping up the new born arms increased the possibilities for SIDS (at least is what my pediatrician pointed). Is true that the most difficult nursing hour is around 2am - 4am :)
You look so alive for him waking up so much! Your doing great. The snuggles. Oh wish they could stay small forever!! I remember nursing them and then just being so exhausted and them sleeping on my chest. Uhh just love those memories.

Haven’t read all the comments.... but for night feedings, you might want to limit interactions w baby so he’s less stimulated. Save all the talking and smiling for daytime hours of wakefulness. I’m 16 weeks pregnant with a boy, so this was very helpful! Your son is so cute! Made me tear up a little, cause I was imagining having my own little boy very soon!
Just going through my 4th now week old. I know they make you very tired but I truly appreciate the moments spent with them at this stage, though tired especially the quiet times with the baby give you an inexplicable peace. Bonding with your child is a unique feeling. You did a great job. This is 3 years old I bet he is a healthy and loved 3 year old boy now.
When feeding during the night keep the lights as dim as possible to keep the room dark so the baby isn’t woken up too much, knows that it is still night and it helps them to settle down again.

Well if it keeps her up and alerted which is safer for baby than mum falling asleep while feeding as it becomes very exhausting and all wake ups are sliding into one blur. I know that this is possible. Although I needed only dim light myself sometimes though I had to have some kind of noise to keep me up like eaio very quietly. My baby was feeding very unevenly. Started with very long feeds probably due to small let down to shorter ones but more frequent like 2 feeds every 1.5h or 2 one with longer break like 3h or even 3.5. My baby didn like to be swaddled and
I’ve never heard anyone else mention the sweats!! I was so surprised when I kept waking up in a cold sweat every night. Currently nursing my 2 week old.
Thank you so much for posting this! As a first time expecting mom in 8 weeks, I feel clueless and this really helped give me an understanding of what nights will look like!
Dont take this as an expectation, babies cry ALOT and get gassy and fussy and breastfeeding will be a challenge…… I am literally feeding my new born baby boy who is 1 week old and watched all these videos to realize they post the better part of the nights hahaha
Those kisses you give him every time you pick him up to nurse. I do the same with my baby girl 🥰 she’s currently 5 weeks old. I’m trying to cherish these moments and not see them as a burden because ik I’m gonna miss them when she’s older.
I never got to have children. I wanted to but it didn't happen. I never knew about the bleeding for so many days after delivery. .... Women who are mothers are simply amazing.
Usually it last 3-8 weeks . My first child lasted 6 weeks the full post partum . But my C-section incision got infected. Then my period started which pussed to 7 weeks. My little boy I just had 2 weeks ago bleeding is off an on and I'm already healed . But my period about to start. But C-sections you can't swim or submurge your self in a pool or bath but can shower. It's worth it
Omg this is so precious. My little man is almost four months old and I miss these long nights with my teeny tiny newborn so much. It really goes by so fast.😭
Stasi Tha Mommi solution is to spend some free time with other people’s babies lolzzz but not make the mistake of wishing a newborn for yourself again !
Currently 38 weeks and we cannot wait to meet our sweet little girl. Watching how positive you are and the love you have for your little guy makes me more excited for those mid night feeding sessions 💕
Tara, can you pretty please make a video vlog style showing your parenting during tantrums or when they don’t listen and how you handle them. Congrats on baby, he is SO handsome!!😍😊
I just wrote that from her last video too. It seems it has been requested a lot so I hope she makes it. I also need quiet time rituals. I sometimes miss her old videos but both old and new are great especially with baby Gray.
gkali100 fingers crossed🤞🏼 I think she is such and amazing momma, I strive to be like her! So I’m really curious to see how she handles those situations so that I can apply them into my life because I’m sure whatever she does it’s great😂😊
Thank you so much for this video - I’m at 37 weeks with my first, a little boy as well, and I’m so nervous about what’s coming next. It’s so helpful to watch such a good mom, and I’m also bawling thinking about finally seeing my little guys face. 😢 ugh, wish me luck
I don’t miss these times. I was miserable when my daughter was a newborn. I cried almost as much as she did. I’m thankful now that’s she’s almost 2 and sleeps all the way through the night. I think this is eye opening to people that aren’t EBF moms about how much we really do at night and how tired we can be.
New Dad here, I never imagine in my life that a baby will bring the bigger and happy smile on my face. I don’t know how to explain, is just something from God, is pure Love.
So peaceful. Motherhood is a beautiful thing and I hits me how strong we are. You look beautiful even with the lack of sleep and covered in milk and sweat. I promise. Your little Gray is lucky to have you as his mama 🙏🏻💗
I have a 3 week old son (first boy baby) and wow this is like a mirror of my own life rn! Yes, every 2 to 3 hours, but we nurse for about an hour so the sleep in between is very limited. Changing pads like crazy, night sweats are no joke..but all of it is worth when we get those snuggles
Watching this as I step into my 7th month of pregnancy and I’m so excited and nervous about it all ♥️ It’s beautiful to see you look after yourself and baby whilst being so calm through the whole night. Lots of love from India 🇮🇳
33 weeks pregnant for the first time, watching this and crying my eyes out😭🥰 these hormones lol! Your little man is SO sweet and your amazing mama! Can’t wait to meet our little one.
I’m laying here watching this video, snuggling my 4 day old newborn, and crying knowing this stage is going to be gone in a blink. Third and final baby. Such a sweet phase of life.
Thank you so much for this video. I’m a first time mom and this really helped me. Last night went flawless, just like your video! The sleep sack is a game changer.
Wow, he’s so good!!! My baby girl had a “witching hour” from 9pm-4am every night of non stop crying until 2 months old. Then she still didn’t sleep unless I rocked her for hours and made sure I had a huge supply of milk for her to drink (for about an hour) before she finally fell asleep around midnight, only to wake up again in 2-3 hours for her next session. I’m so jealous of how easy it is to put him down 😭

Lovely Vlog. I’m going to be a new dad in 3 months and trust me I am learning so much how to deal with the new born and how to support my wife. This is going to be our first kid so very excited and little bit nervous as well. Also I live in Qatar with my wife. I want to ship all the things you are using for the baby, for my wife here. Can you please tell me where you got them from? Also the drinks you are taking post baby to help my wife heal after birth. Thank you so much. God bless you and your family. You both are a lovely couple.
So sweet. I remembered this stage like it was yesterday. Im a mother of 8... they are all grown up, well or kind so... ages 18 and the lil one is 10...
I'm in my 6th month pregnant and I am really inspired by your routines I'm a bit afraid of delivery and raising the baby 😬😬😬😬😬😬 but you give me something like a push thanks I really adore
My first born woke up so many times during the night until he was 6 months. It was brutal. The sleep deprivation was unlike anything I experienced before. But it’s just a phase, that’s a memory now. My son is a little boy and I miss him so much when he was a baby. Everyone says this but time really does go fasts. Stay positive during those tough times, your little one will never be this small ever again.
What a good sweet baby❤️ looking at my sons newborn days it was some of the hardest times of my life. I hope you’re resting and taking care of yourself ❤️ you make it look so beautiful
Thank you so much for filming this. It was so comforting to watch another newborn baby and mama’s routine and to know that someone else has gone through the same experience as me and that my routine is similar to yours and I’m sure similar to many other mom’s out there. You are such a rockstar for being able to film + take such great care of your baby and yourself. God Bless

I am 38 weeks today and this video is really helpful for me! This is my first baby and I’m not quite sure what to expect and I’m thinking quite a lot about sleeping and exclusively breast feeding. I considered the Snoo bassinet, but ended up getting my the Halo Bassinest (the most expensive one not sure of the model) it vibrates but does not rock. I’m hoping this will work out for our little one. If not I will rent the Snoo as well.
This video came up in my news feed and I'm so glad it did. We're 30 weeks pregnant with our first and it's just comforting to see an idea of what it may be like. Thank you! 💙👣
My daughter did the same thing but it really got my milk to come in lol now with my second 14 weeks away I’m not looking forward to the cluster feeding but it’s so worth it!!
My baby fever wasn’t even a thing before Tara had Grayson! I have an almost 3 year old and was pretty sure I wanted him to be our only until I watched these videos 😩
Beautiful baby... you look gorgeous as well... thanks for the calming and helpful videos. I'm 22 weeks pregnant and your channel gives me tips and helps me realize this is really happening! 😱🤯😊
Awww sucha cute baby. I gave birth almost 5 weeks ago, towards the end of my pregnancy I couldn't wait for it to be over, I then gave birth to my boy via cesarean and when I first got back from the hospital, although I loved my baby however I found the baby blues so difficult combined with postpartum depression, I was constantly crying, missing my old life, exhausted and tired of changing nappies and being sleep deprived, as the weeks have gone on and my boy only awake twice at night now ive slowly starting to feel myself again, not completely but getting there. As he is growing and learns something new everyday it just makes me so happy, everyone always says it gets better, I've started to believe it now. Just stay strong mamas, it may be a tedious and exhausting process but it will pass and as your baby develops a little personality it's well worth it.
This makes me so nervous!! I’m 6 weeks away from giving birth and just having the routine down packed scares me!!! Just praying it will all be ok... ❤️ thank you for sharing that helps a lot with the set up of things to make life easy.
Try not to stress! You’ll find that the routine sometimes finds you. You can plan and plan but sometimes baby has other plans but they do have their own routine.
@@kathryncavaretti3956 thank you for that advice Kathryn ❤️ I’ll take it one step at a time. Oh man my doctor said we may see baby earlier so in the next two weeks. Slightly nervous with the birthing situation 😖 just the pain but I know I am going to be in good hands 😊
Is there a reason for seeing baby sooner? With my first they kept telling me that I wouldn’t make it past Christmas (my due date was 1/4) but I knew in my heart baby was in no rush lol. She ended up coming January 10th. Good luck whenever baby may come. If you’re planning a vaginal birth, I highly recommend reading ina Mays guides to childbirth. Also watching some different scenario birth vlogs. I found that helped me with my first to feel a little less scared and more prepared
@@michellefox5749 also just remember that the pain is temporary. It’s different for me because it’s productive pain. I like to think of them of letting waves crashing over me. I feel like when I forgot that is when it felt the most overwhelming. I used a doula with my second and it was well worth it to me
@@kathryncavaretti3956 ohh I she’ll check it out thank you😊 baby has been measuring small. At 32 weeks baby was in the 4th percentile so my OBGYN wants me to have a scan this coming Monday and said would be good to get baby out at 38 weeks just to be on the safe side. Definitely opting for vaginal birth and a go with the flow approach, I have watched every season of “one born every minute hehe”

Hello how r u I like u I want to meet u ☺️☺️☺️
Me waiting for u and your baby 😘😘😘
Being a mother is very challenging but is the greatest gift from God that we recieve our babies . 👶
This is hands down the calmest 2 week old new born on earth 😅 if only all new borns were this non fussy in the beginning
Most breast fed babies are
1
Even though this postpartum stage is so hard with everything going on i find it so so comforting. Watching this brought back all those feelings 😭
It's worth it
food islife congrats on your new born
All women are amazing.
N N lol let just mums have this comment PLEASE
Bleeding doesn’t happen like this after delivery for long if it is a c section
Thank you so much for this video! I’m currently 28 weeks pregnant with my first baby and plan on breastfeeding. What a cute baby!
It's good that you plan on breastfeeding, but you better get some rest now because the breastfeeding job is not easy. Good luck my love
Omg this is so precious. My little man is almost four months old and I miss these long nights with my teeny tiny newborn so much. It really goes by so fast.😭
I loved this! Made me miss the newborn stage. Except I don’t miss the sleep deprived me! Lol but I miss the new baby smell and cuddles!
Congratulations
Tara, can you pretty please make a video vlog style showing your parenting during tantrums or when they don’t listen and how you handle them. Congrats on baby, he is SO handsome!!😍😊
That doesn't happen to her lol
I just wrote that from her last video too. It seems it has been requested a lot so I hope she makes it. I also need quiet time rituals. I sometimes miss her old videos but both old and new are great especially with baby Gray.
gkali100 fingers crossed🤞🏼 I think she is such and amazing momma, I strive to be like her! So I’m really curious to see how she handles those situations so that I can apply them into my life because I’m sure whatever she does it’s great😂😊
@@JuliaJoslin yeah me too! Especially in stores and other public places!
You are a strong momma Tara keep up the good work get rest because it's important 🙄
You should tell your kids that they have fans from all over the world...am from Algeria ❤❤❤💋💋💋
Thank you so much for this video - I’m at 37 weeks with my first, a little boy as well, and I’m so nervous about what’s coming next. It’s so helpful to watch such a good mom, and I’m also bawling thinking about finally seeing my little guys face. 😢 ugh, wish me luck
How did it go? How do you find being a mum?
I don’t miss these times. I was miserable when my daughter was a newborn. I cried almost as much as she did. I’m thankful now that’s she’s almost 2 and sleeps all the way through the night. I think this is eye opening to people that aren’t EBF moms about how much we really do at night and how tired we can be.
Ι m going through that right now and i hate it...
I am so glad that I just read this comment, I felt like the only one not LOVING this stage. I’m miserable!
@@Margsallnight you are not the only one...i just stopped breastfeeding too, cause i felt awful.
I think the pregnancy phase is the worst phase. I am tired !!!!
@@matinaafe5783 wow HOW selfish
I have just come across your channel, I’m due in January and i applaud you for being so genuine and preparing me with what is to come. Thank you ! X
nadia ouaaziz how is it going?? :)
That's it! It is really hard at first but good luck!🎉
Much props to all the mothers out there caring for the future generation of our country. It’s not easy, but all worth it.
Watching this as I step into my 7th month of pregnancy and I’m so excited and nervous about it all ♥️ It’s beautiful to see you look after yourself and baby whilst being so calm through the whole night. Lots of love from India 🇮🇳
Is no one else curious as to what all the comments that aren’t in English are saying
lauren steele , this is Arabic most of them saying thank you for the Arabic subtle and some says we love you.
lauren steele um yes 😂
lauren steele paid comments from middle east 😂😂
I'm curious to 😂
don't do that, wonder if other countries say that about us when they see random english comments😅
White noise and pink noise were soooo helpful!!!
33 weeks pregnant for the first time, watching this and crying my eyes out😭🥰 these hormones lol! Your little man is SO sweet and your amazing mama! Can’t wait to meet our little one.
I don’t know why people are hitting the unlike button, these videos are truly amazing. You’re a wonderful mother!!!
17 weeks till my baby girl is here thanks for these videos. I know this will be a rewarding challenge so excited to be with her ❤
I’m laying here watching this video, snuggling my 4 day old newborn, and crying knowing this stage is going to be gone in a blink. Third and final baby. Such a sweet phase of life.
Watching this getting myself prepared as my wife and I will have a little one at the end of November! Can’t wait for these moments!
Not long now! How are you both getting on?
Same , so excited!
Gosh pls be my mother I never had ♥️
Great mom u are.
I will never get over videos!
Baby Grayson gives me baby fever 😭😭😭
Awesome this helps ,36 weeks pregnant with my first child . My sons coming 🙏🏻

Thanks for normalizing frequent night nursing. You're doing an amazing job!
OH my. I’m pregnant with my second now. And I totally forgot how tired I was for my first. Mothers tend to forget any pain that related to nursing / raising their children

21weeks today. So excited for her to be here, it's not going quick enough!
I’m 15 weeks pregnant and watching this makes me scared but also excited to meet my baby boy 🥺
Watching this video while I’m currently breastfeeding my 2 week old. This will go by so fast and I’m enjoying it so much while I can. ❤
So sweet. I remembered this stage like it was yesterday. Im a mother of 8... they are all grown up, well or kind so... ages 18 and the lil one is 10...
35 weeks and watching to see what I can expect a night routine with new born looks like. I hope I look as good as you doing this for 2 weeks😍
God Bless
I'm a few weeks away from having my baby girl and this video was so comforting to watch. I also love the whole changing station set up on your dresser that's such a great idea!
Due in August and watching all your videos are gonna be a big help on what ima be expecting next month. I'm also having a baby boy! ♥️ congratulations on such a beautiful blessing ♥️😇😇
Post labour contractions?! My god I didn't know that was a thing! Wow.. still I can't wait to have a family some day and thank you so much for letting us into your life with your beautiful newborn. Really good, down to earth yet educational video 😘
You're an awesome mom. I can tell, I pray that God continues to cover you and your family, and that your cup runs over. That you and your children will receive so many blessing that you'll have to give some away! ❤️
He is sooo cute 😍 his little yawn, and how he stretches, omg melts my heart 😍
OMG, a mom gives much more than we can imagine!!! Still I hope to have a baby, so happy for women that have been blessed with maternity
You Will . I did pray for 4 long years and God listen my prayers. Today 9 weeks pregnant with my princess!

I love this song in the background. This is a sweet video.. I’m due August 6th, 2020 with a baby girl. I am so beyond excited.
Awww congrats! I’m due Aug 5th!! Can’t wait 🥰🥰🥰
Awee! I'm due August 4th of 2020 my first baby girl
Best wishes for safe deliveries and healthy babies😄
Wishing you a healthy baby and a smooth delivery to all of you gals!
Congratulations!!! Almost there
This video came up in my news feed and I'm so glad it did. We're 30 weeks pregnant with our first and it's just comforting to see an idea of what it may be like. Thank you! 💙👣
Newborn breath and smells is a real thing... I love it!!!❤❤❤
I'm still exclusively breastfeeding too and sometimes my daughter wakes up every hour! Tough but definitely worth it. They grow up so quickly :)
They don't need to eat every hour...thats the mom's wanting that!
My daughter did the same thing but it really got my milk to come in lol now with my second 14 weeks away I’m not looking forward to the cluster feeding but it’s so worth it!!
@@coastal5228I’m not sure what mum is wanting that….
That exhausted look at the camera at the end, and then him sleeping so peacefully on your chest 😍🥰😍🥰😍🥰
Love the way he wakes at 9.16 and yawns. Bless him.
Gosh I’m getting baby fever!! I think it’s time for baby #2
Same lol
Number three for me😂💕
Haha was just thinking the same thing
Same girl!! ♥️
I watched this with my one year old in my lap and the music put her to sleep. 😂 such a relaxing video!
The baby straight jacket at the end had me cracking up 😂
You make it look so easy! Good job momma you can tell you are experienced by now.
Your baby is the cutest the most adorable baby I have seen in a while! G-d bless!! And may G-d give u all the strength and energy to continue to raise your beautiful family!
So precious and beautiful omg God bless you all
This was so sweet and reminded me of what it was like with my now 2 year old boy. It's so hard to remember those nights that seemed to last forever ♥️
So glad I’m not the only one who has milk all over their shirt while caring for their baby
