- Hi everyone! In todays video I am showing you the current night time routine with our newborn baby girl. I found with my first born that starting a routine early on helps establish good sleeping habits down the road. I’m 61 years old, but I so look forward to your videos! It seems like just yesterday that my girls were the same ages as your little ones. They are both so precious, and that little Miles is so well behaved and sweet. He has great parents. Enjoy this precious time - it goes by in the blink of an eye. Terrie Watson , I am 65 so I can relate, I just found this channel and I have been watching from the older ones forward. I loved your last quote because it is so true. My grandchildren are 21 & 18 so maybe someday I will see them have children. I am sure you can relate but we didn’t have most of these items when we had children, we didn’t even use a car seat as they do today. I find it so fascinating what they have to help make motherhood a little less stressful.

Terrie Watson I agree, that is what so many children lack in today’s world and it is refreshing to see a young couple working hard to make sure their children have first a lot of love and second to be taken care of by both parents. My grandchildren have that and they have grown up to be fine young adults that anyone would be proud of, I honestly think that is the key for them to feel secure. I love how they don’t tell Miles to be quiet but they listen to him and allow him to be himself but it is obvious they do give him the discipline he needs and they teach him manners which is very often lacking inn today’s world. 😊
Finally a mom that doesn’t breastfeed. Seems like all moms on TH-cam do that. My baby won’t latch and I can’t breastfeed but I won’t give up. Seeing another mom that doesn’t breastfeed either made me feel a whole lot better
I couldnt breast feed my son a baby needs to be feed and if bottle feeding is the only option then do that. It is a better option than letting your baby die.
I had the same problem the first week so I talked to pediatrician about it and she set me up with a lactation consultant the next day who showed me how to get him to latch. No problems since then!

Lmao must be nice to have a sweet little angel baby. For alot of people this isn’t realistic though. I have twin colicky, gassy babies who sleep strecthes of 3 hrs at most and thats if we’re lucky. Exhausted and stressed at all times.
Same my baby gassy most sleep he’ll get is 3 hours nothin after that
& for a lot of ppl it is realistic ... my daughter was the same exact way. Calm happy & healthy

My baby boy is this calm . What’s realistic for you may not be realistic for other people. Just because your baby is fuzzy and colicky doesn’t mean all new borne are that way. Just like not all new norms are calm babies. Everyone’s situation is different. Doesn’t make it unrealistic.
prettyevee my baby is calm as well I made comment as to how one routine to another is smooth and other moms except the same and all babies are different. So don’t set your expectations to this. My baby is good some days some days she isn’t having set day to day for newborns is unrealistic and a lot of moms can agree to that.

Do you feed baby breast milk or formula? I'm breastfeeding and I've read babies sleep longer on formula. My baby is 6 weeks old and eats every 2-3 hours. I'm trying to get her to sleep longer but not sure if it's bcuz she's breastfed that she needs to eat more often.
It just depends on your baby. My daughter was formula fed and she also got up every 2-3 hours. Perfectly normal at that age

Wow, she's really calm!! I couldn't say the same about my baby girl, cried and screamed in the bath, out of the bath, on the changing table, in the swaddle sack, in her crib, well everywhere 🥴 she accepted my arms only! All day, all night ... She's now 3 months old and its getting better as she sleeps in her crib and asks less for the arms

AAP recommends 2-3 times a week (in addition to any urgencies) for the first year, after the cord falls off. Also depends on the baby... I know this comment is old, but I hope you figured it out. 😇
