A debate on imposition of Hindi on non-hindi speaking states, specially in the southern states, has been going on since Independence. It has sparked a language war in India. But those who are protesting against Hindi, should think once more.
Because it is not Hindi that is being imposed, actually English has been imposed on all of Bharat, even after Independence as it is the official language India.
Hindi is a language spoken by the majority of Indian people. But along with all the Indian languages, Hindi is also being deprived of professional vocabulary.

Aajkal villages m bhi log english hi bolne ki koshish krte hain, jo english bolta hai usko sab padha likha samajhte hain. Sad state of hindi.

Yes absolutely right but we should have to think the reason about the beger who attracts Indians by speaking in English and collects the begging money in larger amounts than the beger of Hindi speakers. We should have to respect our languages and tongue.

Is not hindi killing languages like bhojpuri, magadhi etc. ?
I knew this question would come. As I said in the video vocabulary is the first metric to gauge the strength of a language and in case of Bhojpuri, magadhi etc, most of the words are common to all of them, including hindi, this case does not apply here. But the same is not true with English.
But still u r right some ways because people speaking knowing hindi has increased in bhojpuri speaking areas. Still hindi does not eradicate the vocabulary of bhojpuri and magadhi because hindi mostly uses the same vocabulary.
Hindi prevents bhojpuri, magadhi etc. from gaining importance in schools, media , etc.@@Kahaani-en9gmAre you happy about it ?
