a nice way to cool down scroll superchargers is changing the fuel to etanol, mine is getting so cold that you can see ice forming outside the supercharger.
VERY INFORMATIVE INSTALL, I just completed a installation on my 1987 944 N/A 2.5 from SpeedForceRacing, I’m only running 8lbs of Boost and I’m running an intercooler, My total numbers went from 158HP stock to 230HP at the rear wheels, Just like you mentioned it REALLY does wake these cars up without sacrificing too much, Prior to installing this kit I upgraded to Turbo brakes and suspension keeping everything within my total HP numbers.... I’m glad to see that YOU took your time putting this kit together and thinking everything out.....👍👍👍👍
I'm working on BIKE ITB EFI + ME221 ECU on my 78' Porsche 924. I think that if you remove K-JET and proceed with EFI conversion, more space will be secured, so intercooler work will be easier. And I think the parts such as the M45 supercharger and bracket will be of great help to other tuners. It's very awesome. Good work. :)
Surely with EFI and an intercooler much more boost would be safe to use. For my car i wanted to keep the K-JET and i want to offer the chance that any enthusiast can supercharge his 924 in a weekend for not so much money. Also, i want that this kit still works for the 4 lug brakes, if we add more power...better brakes are also mandatory, its all a balance.
@@PorscheAddict YES. I upgraded my 924's front and rear brakes to 944's disc brakes. My 924 looks the same as the early 944 except for the engine. I think your bolt-on kit is really high-quality for beginners.

You evaluate the state of that 924, see what needs fixing. And then look at upgrades. Your 924 will be quicker but not transform into a race car, so dont expect miracles in terms of extra HP :)
