I didn't actually! i should have but didn't have any scales handy, would have been interesting to see how much all that junk weighed :) And yup apart from a lack of oil changes it seems the engine is in pretty good nick :) Cheers for watching bud :)
Why get rid of the heater core?
Not going to anymore bud as i want to keep the windscreen demister, but originally it was the idea of getting rid of any weight that was high up :)
Are those seats the same as a torana???
hrmmm i highly doubt it, just stock hyundai excel seats, the Torana was built from the late 60s to early 80,s this model excel is early 90s to 2000, and not under the same umbrella corporation or anything so no part swapping etc, just a look alike coincidence i'd say!
Love how 1/3 of the video is him driving, 1/3 is stripping the car (as the title would imply), and 1/3 doing other crap...
