The Motorola G Power 2025 is the big brother to the popular Moto G 2025, and it has some serious upgrades like a third camera, 8GB of RAM, MIL-STD drop protection, IP68/69 protection, a higher resolution screen, and more! It's a great value for $299 and may just be the best budget phone for you!

The green one looks better.
I just got the Moto G Stylus 2024 5G yesterday I'm so happy with it I watch a lot of TH-cam videos including yours it helped out very well.
That's Beautiful phone
Good pick
@@a1000island yep it sure is and I can't wait to see what the 2025 version going to be like
@@a1000island I'm done with LCD displays I'm moving towards OLED now
@@DKgamersknight newer LCDs look pretty good to me
It's just the chip that ruins those phones for me though
@@a1000island yeah
love the screen in the background it does add to the aesthetic of your videos
Thanks. Glad you like it
Nice design looks futuristic well done
Time to scoop this up! Nice video.
Not much to complain about for $299 👍 headphone jack 🔥
A solid win in my books. Even Samsung budget phones got rid of the jack. That being said it might be time to go wireless.
Motorola could afford the IP69 rating on a $200 phone but Samsung couldn't on their flagship lol?
Not only that but also a headphone jack and sd card two of my most used features
Also my beloved fm radio
@mokisan yeah but the sd card slot is useless because you can't install apps on it.
@@bandrew8040because you don't utilise it buddy
believe it or not people love watching movies and tv shows offline rather than streaming... at least in a 3rd world country
@@bandrew8040while spotify and apple music is decent
i used to download flac all the times which take almost 200gb just for songs
@@716_ハディくん exactly mate! Thats my intended use
Great video mate!
It has a headphone jack and sd card two of my most used features
Also my beloved fm radio
I changed to Motorola from Samsung about 8 years ago, not planning on going back.
Thanks for the video.
I was hoping for a better processor and a longer time for updates. Thanks for making the informative video.
The antenna performs awesome! I drove through a rural area and tested in a fringe business basement garage, the T-Mobile low band covered well with full solid signal symbol and clear audio.
I have the 2024 version as my backup phone to my Pixel 9 Pro XL
I like the new background. Nice job. I have the moto g stylus 2024 and it's a great phone. 249.00 withe 256gb.
Been a Moto fan for a long time, they give me Nexus vibes with the nearly stock experience with little bloat. I had the 2020 G Power & currently running the 2023 G Stylus, but i wish they would go back to the "flagship killer" approach with the Edge & actually market & try to compete with the likes of Pixel & OnePlus. I completely understand if they didn't go with the newest Snapdragon 8 Elite, but at least do an 8 Gen 3. I've been perfectly happy with my budget G Series phones for the last 5 years, but I've been kinda itching for a flagship level devices, as i haven't ran 1 since I finally gave up my Pixel 2 XL for the G Power back in 2020. I've really been considering the OnePlus 13, but I'm also extremely brand loyal & i would love to stay with Moto, but not be forced to go with a foldable that I'm not interested in just to get a flagship experience.
I have the Motorola g power 2024 from Verizon wireless
Best best phones nic work Motorola come back 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
What Motorola tries to accomplish which is mid to high mid tier phones they do it well and for the price point. Now are they going to beat the likes of a Pixel Pro or Pro XL or S25 + or Ultra no but they are still an awesome higher end mid tier phone and Adam I'm happy to see you review them sir kudos and shout outs to you. We'll see YOU 🫵🏼 on the next one
Thanks for the video great background TV nice touch
Great summary. I'm thinking of getting u the uk variant of this or the Honor 200 lite. I cant decide which.
honestly flagship should utilise all the capabilities that smartphone can offer not limiting them
Definitely keep the tv screen. It looks great!
Thanks for the feedback
The Power's camera has OIS this year, which the less expensive Moto G does not. It should improve still shots in many situations, and video should get a big stabilization benefit from it.
this looks like a super cool TV congrats 😉...
please keep the tv in the background.the tiles were distracting.
Oh believe me this TV isn’t going anywhere lol
hdr10 support?
How many years of software update?
I don't know but maybe you can also mention it has sim card and esim support. I think that's something that's always overlooked but is important if people know that it can use 2 sims and a SD card
Do you know when we can expect the Moto G Stylus 5g 2025?
Last year's model came out in June so I would anticipate probably this summer as well
Is display bright enough? How many nits got?
It's a ips lcd but it's a 1000 nits lcd so it's great outdoors
@matthewmcabee7328 OK thx
Does it have esim feature
How long is the update/support period?
He says in video
I've got the moto g stylus 2024, awesome mid ranger! 🎉🎉
I'm waiting for a 2025 model. I used to rock Samsung, now I'm with Motorola. They are going in an awesome direction. Eventually, I want a fusion pro curved edge model.
Hopefully it will be here soon
@TechOdyssey agreed and still waiting for Android 15!!
The tile layout wasn't even and was giving me OCD.. Good swap. 😂
You’re welcome lol
I'll always go old flagships instead of new midrange. Just picked up a OnePlus 10T for less than 200 very good cond. Good video nevertheless.
what about Smart Connect? does it have that feature? to connect to a smart TV?
Thanks for the review! How well does the moto g power 2025 run games? Better or worse than the moto g 5g stylus 2023?
Thanks for the video! Question: can this model record video at 1080p/60 FPS with the rear camera?
What’s moto flagship phone please and thanks
The edge plus
It has optical image stabilization (OIS), and optical zoom?
Adam!!! Many thanks for this!!! Your timing is perfect! One question if I may….do you think the new upcoming Moto Stylus will have a significantly better processor? Your thoughts? Thanks again man!
Nice video
The Dimensity 6300 is a downgrade from last year's Dimensity 7020, but if you aren't playing games, you're not going to notice a performance difference. The 8GB of RAM does all of the heavy lifting.
But that water resistance... and that durability. That's pretty big. I just wish I wasn't so autistic about the SOC downgrade.
The difference is negligible. They had to make cost cuts to get the IP rating which is a first for Moto. Plus 2 OS updates is a big win instead of just one. Samsung budget phones have the advantage of more OS updates and OLED screens though.
Because of the upgrades on the moto g power, I think the upcoming moto g stylus 2025 will be a beast. It's a possibility that it could have 3 OS updates
i wish it wasnt so big i hate tablet phones make em like 6.3
Bro I love your videos keep up the great work my dude 😎 just a question for you do you know when it's coming to the US I would think about a month from now I'm thinking I might be wrong 😂 but just wondering about that have a great day bro
You can get it right now in the United States on Amazon or Best buy. I have a link in the description that will take you there
does this one have better camera quality than stylus 5g 2024?
Bring the tiles back! 😅😂🎉
They’re dead, Jim.
I've heard this only has 1000 nits max brightness, as opposed to 2500-3000 nits on the expensive flagships. Did you find this phone to be too dim? What about outside in sunshine?
It's perfectly fine for a $299 phone.
Nice tv
Motorola has mentioned it as OLED
No they don’t. You can go straight to the website and it says LCD
@ Thank you so much! wd’ve me misled by description in Amazon
@ you’re welcome
Is this also known as the G75 ?
I don’t know?
That series doesn't get sold locally in the United States and there are usually hardware differences to better serve popular features for the regions in which they are sold.
There are websites with phone comparison tools (sorry, naming one will probably just get my comment erased) to let you see the full feature set side by side, and even highlight only the differences if you prefer.
I'm really torn about Motorola's budget phones. I'm still waiting for them to shake things up a bit and give me a solid reason to invest in one for the long haul. My Moto G Stylus 2023 has started to lag, and I can't help but wish they'd cater more to folks who want to keep their phones for a while. If budget is their game, they should seriously consider offering 4 years of OS updates and 4 or 5 years of security patches, along with a robust processor that ensures longevity. It doesn't need to be the latest Snapdragon, but something with decent specs would go a long way. You've got to hand it to them for the improvements in cameras and photography; their budget models perform pretty well, especially in good lighting. The OS is nice and clean, which I appreciate since it's stock Android. Still, Motorola feels a bit bland to me, and I think they could do more. They were pioneers in innovation a decade or so ago, but now it feels like they're just rolling out budget models with a quick splash of IP68 water and dust resistance. I'm also confused about the differences between the Moto G 2025 and the Moto G Power 2025. Aren't they essentially the same in terms of battery life? If the Power is marketed for those heavy-duty users, it should have a bigger battery! It just seems like they’ve been stuck in the same groove with the Moto G Power line for years, with hardly any real upgrades.
Is this called in Europe motorola Moto G15 power 2025?
Thank you.
Recently bought a Redmi Note 13 - Amoled, 120 refresh, nice camera, stereo speakers, gorilla glass 3, 33w charging, and a nice silicone case. £109 !!!
9A or G power?
9a isn’t here and will be $200 more
Dang, 8 GB of RAM. 👍🏽👌🏽
I am most surprised that wireless charging was added to this phone
It's a nice extra for sure
Moto is a good starter phone. Good for young kids....little buggy on the ones I had.
My wife used the moto g power phones for a while. However, the last one she had. The G power 2023 was terrible. You couldn't even scroll on it without it stuttering and sometimes the phone didn't work at all. Even after factory resets, it didn't work. We replaced it like 3 times and each one has the same problem. So we upgraded her to a more reliable phone and traded piece of crap in for some credit on a tablet I bought for Christmas.
These are budget phones so you have to lower your expectations. It's not gonna compete with the buttery smooth iPhone Samsung ultra or pixel but it's alot cheaper. My first Moto was G7 which stutters apps crash low res screen and a single basic camera but it mostly works and was cheap. I was happy enough to upgrade to last years power and it's better. Apps crash less often and less stutter and for a third of the price of flagships it's solid. For a bit more money the pixel A series is very good no stutter.
@jonfreeman9682 I know that. I am saying the one we had didn't work at all. It became unreliable to even do basic tasks. Especially compared to other G powers. The G power 2020 was very good. But for some reason the G power 2023 sucked.
Pixel needs to add ram boost 😂
$300 being a “budget” phone is kinda crazy 😂 $200 and under, is budget for me.
Moto makes good phones but not for power users nor gamers. Batteries are monsters.
This phone apparently has wireless Smart Connect for a mobile desktop (according to news site reporting). I'm curious if it's good, bad, missing features? Also, the Moto G 2025 doesn't have Smart Connect despite using the same processors as the Moto G Power 2025. That is a lame choice by Motorola.
Love these, but they are too big in size for me.
This phone may not have the OLED display like the stylus does but it still holds on his end Moto G Power
If you can live with a basic camera, then this is a great phone. I have a Samsung A14 5g it works great, but probably like this phone camera isn't great.
Having an sd card slot is useless if you can't install apps on the sd card.
after install an app you can remove from the phone to sd card i have majority of my apps in sd card i have moto g 54
@bandrew8040 Music lover here. I disagree with that statement. 🎧
