I got my S25 Ultra for almost a week. Loving the phone, however i so miss the boxy design that was on my previous S24 Ultra and i so miss the Bluetooth S pen 😢

I'm actually getting the 24 ultra soon. I have the regular 23 and was waiting for the new 25 ultra but it wasn't what I expected. So I'll be getting the 24 ultra. I'll hold on a couple more years to see if they do something better

I decided to keep my s24, gonna be sending my s25 back this week. I'm sorry but I need that Bluetooth spen. And I don't wear a case on my phone so to me the weight of the s24 is perfect. Love the weight of the s25 , but having my s25u it kept reminding me of my fold 6 that I have and has aa a learning tablet
I commented earlier this morning on your S25 versus OnePlus video, saying we've probably reached a point where companies don't even need to release year-over-year updates, and I stand by that. However, I agree that spending about $400 a year to always have a new phone isn't that much money. If you break it down monthly, it's not much at all. And when you consider how much you use your phone, if you can afford it, it's money well spent.
That being said, I still think we might all be better off if companies started releasing a new model every other year or so, and spent that time perfecting them, rather than just forcing them out the door because of an upcoming deadline.
Thats my stance but realistically its more than 400. You have to factor in tax as well, and then factory in getting certain accessories again such as cases and a screen protector. I love having alot of cases, i buy them on sale but getting them every year you start to see with all the costs involved its more like 600-700 a year.
I am a fan of the Ultra phones. I upgraded to the S25 Ultra and have no regrets. I like the new rounded edges. The trade-in process with Samsung is very easy. I never had an issue with any of my phones getting the full credit. I previously did a trade-in with Apple years ago and it was a hassle.

I shipped my s24 ultra out today... Rip but it was time to move on. I'm loving my s25 ultra.
I got my old Galaxy S24 Plus ready and packed to send out. It was my phone of the year last year. 😢
Got my s25 ultra in the mail and I'm trading in my s23 ultra. It actually feels good to have the flat screen back since I no longer have to spend so much money on expensive curved glass screen protectors. The rounded corners is also amazing for 1 handed use. Battery life is amazing and 45w supercharging 2.0 actually works with aftermarket power adapters no 5A cable needed. unlike my s23 ultra where it only worked with the official samsung 45w charger + 5A cable.
Just upgraded from the note 20 to the galaxy s25 ultra and I'm blown away this phone is absolutely amazing loving it 😊😊

@susanjudd9325 you should chuck it out if you have the s25 ultra make sure you're in a well wet area and take the main camera and get as close as you can and take a picture and look at it it'll blow your mind I've been taking picture of like carpets and different things to see what it looks like it's insane dude I know it sounds silly but it's cool

I sent my s4u this past Saturday for the s25u trade-in and Man I miss that phone already lol. But gotta say the s25U screen is something else and I thought the s24u screen was the best I seen. I know samsung used the same enhancer tech from thier TVs and its very special looking in a phone ...
I upgraded and sold my buds pro 3 I got for free (thank you for the affiliate link) and got $125 for it. So I only paid $275 and a trade in which is a pretty good deal.
For me it was the S23 ultra i had to say goodbye to yesterday, and that was hard. However I'm enjoying the 25 ultra. The flat screen is welcomed.
I'm upgrading mine too, and I'm going to be happier with the 25 because I'm tired of the wifi connectivity problems with the 23.

I bought the plus from 24 ultra . I love the plus more than the ultra but last year the plus , in my country was with exynos which i didn't want so i bought the 24 ultra .
This year all come with Snapdragon so i bought the 25 plus and i am extremely happy with it.

Regarding the s24s and the decreased vividness when they were first released compared to the s23s, I think that's mostly to do with the anti-glare glass. I have an anti-glare screen protector on my pixel and I like it overall, therwise I would take it off, but it does make the screen a little bit less vivid.
I switched it from natural to vivid color mode for the display and it made a difference, but I think that it's probably still a little bit less vivid with the screen protector and vivid mode than no screen protector and natural mode.
That's the one thing I don't like about my s25U. The display colors are terrible, in my opinion. Yet once I put a good glass screen protector zagg Fusion XTR4, it's much better now. I am actually starting to like it. I still miss the boxy look. Yet I love the weight & feel in hand. This phone is damn amazing in all other ways.
really happy I got the S24Ultra, when I did, I wanted a phone for atleast 3 years, happy to see the S24 is actually better for me with the Bluetooth S-Pen as I take a ton of group shots and don't always have my watch on me + I like the screen more on this model, it looks more boxy and without built in Qi2 I dont know why most people would bother for such a minor upgrade
if they bring back the IR blaster or something actually usful rather more AI Ill never use for the S26 maybe Ill upgrade, but right now Im good

My wife purchased the S24 Ultra in early January. It exceeds all her expectations.
She has absolutely no reason to upgrade to the S25 Ultra. In fact, she will keep her phone for at least the next 7-8 years.
The protective case makes the phone comfortable to hold. The rounded edge is nicer than the flat edge of the S25 Ultra.
The squared corners are not an issue for her.

I end up moving from my base S21 to the S24 Ultra. I didn't think the spec bump in the S25 Ultra was worth the $500 extra I would have to pay (I got the S24 Ultra for $800 new)
Guess I'm the odd ball .... Traded p9p xl for OP13. Have s24u from att and ordered and used s25u. Returning the s25u. Didn't like the feel. Camera isnt that good at all. Back on my OP for now which feels great on the hand, good cameras, and great battery life. Signal is good too.
I love the screen on The s24 ultra, I used the phone without a case for most of last year and I haven't noticed any scratches at all, the non reflecting feature is game changing. However the coating on the screen rubbed off and leaves my screen an oily mess, so I installed a screen protector....
Get my regular S25 today. Makes me wonder, back in the 80's they would jack up their trucks and put hugh tires on them to compensate for shortcomings. 40 years later it appears it went from pickup trucks to phones.............Must be sad when your girl exclaims happily "Are you glad to see me" and you kinda look at the ground and tell her it's a Samsung Ultra phone.

I have the S24ultra and use the spen alot. Will the spen stay the same with gestures or will the hand gestures be erased when the ui7 is installed.
If I hadn't cracked my screen on the 23U, I would have returned the 25U and gotten my phone back
Love my S25 Ultra! As for the S pen, it's not a biggie for me. However I believe that even though the charging capabilities are still there, apparently the pen has no battery in it.
I'm upgrading my s23 ultra, mainly because i got a $1300.00 trade in value, and the wifi adapter on the 23 has major connectivity issues and I'm sick of it disconnecting all the time. It's a problem with the 23u that's inherent so... I'm not going to miss it.
My S23 ultra has hardware issues so I traded mines in for the Titanium Jet Black. The chipset alone and one ui 7 is worth the uprade. Battery life is good too.
I have the Z Fold 6 and pre ordered the s25 Ultra. I like it a lot but I'll stick with my Z Fold 6. We will see how things go but paying $400 for the camera isn't worth it to me. Great video as always man.

Honeymoon phase with any new phone, shortly you'll hear "I'm returning the S25 Ultra as I don't see any noticeable difference from my S24 Ultra......
When i registered my Pixel 9 Pro XL, i got 1 year of Gemini Pro/Premiums (whichever they call it) still transfers to my S25 Ultra

I am going to miss my S10e that I need to trade in, wish I could keep it but cannot turn down the $700 credit for trade-in. I have had the s10e for over 5 years. Not that I regret upgrading to the s25 Plus, because it is a huge upgrade for me and I am very glad I did it. But I miss the smaller size and the side finger print reader on the s10e, and it is still working like new. Honestly, if it were still getting security and software updates I would have probably just kept the s10e a little longer. I only had my s25+ for a few days so have not been able to take advantage of many of the new features. Don't know how to do the AI circle search yet. So far I really like the s25 Plus. The larger screen is so much easier to read. Getting used to the fingerprint censor located on screen, and the volume buttons are on the right side instead of the left side on the s10e. It is really nice to not have to constantly have to charge my phone throughout the day. Still have about 50% at 10pm with no charging during the day, and I used my phone frequently throughout the day.
Hell yeah I love my S25 ultra and it is better then the 24 ultra. Even if you don't get the New S25 ultra you are still winning with the 24 ultra. Sending my S24 ultra off 2morrow

You won't miss it after you enable all of the features that came with the S25 Ultra. Just play with all of th features on your new S25 Ultra. You'll be amaze what it can do for you. I was kind of hesitant trading in my note 20 ultra, but after messing around with what this new S25 Ultra has. I was quite impressed that it can do so much more or better than my note 20 ultra. I don't really make full use of the S pen on my note 20 so it's a feature I can live without. The only one real drawback I'll miss is the extra storage. I wish samsung didn't take that away because that is what keeps me sticking with samsung smartphone. Not sure why they keep taking it away then bring it back only to end up taking it away again which just made absolutely no sense.
Hi Adam. I suggest you should install a screen protector to your S25U. Samsung sells one with anti reflection. It would allow your fans to see if it’s as good as Gorilla Glass Armor 2.

I had the pixel 9 pro but didn't really like it now have the s25 ultra happy with it but wished it had Bluetooth on the s pen.
I traded it and got the S25 Ultra, yet I was not happy. The device, ever since I changed from the S23 Ultra, is not really comfortable to hold for some reason. I also got an OP13, and I actually boxed my S25 Ultra. I have been using the OP13 for the past few days. I am really happy with the change, primarily due to how comfortable it holds, yet I believe the S25 Ultra looks more premium with its near bezel-less screen and heavier weight. Also, it does have faster animations, yet not a killer difference. I'm still considering the change as I have many Samsung items like the watch ultra, the ring, and the tablet. But the change was not bad. I don't lose many features, and I don't use the ones I don't have I don't use, so I will choose based on my daily usage anyway. For those thinking of changing, the S25 Ultra is a killer device, and the screen is impressive, yet not the best.
I just traded my S24 Ultra for a Oneplus 13 locally. I love the OnePlus 13. I prefer the Oxygen OS. I like it when I mute a group text, I don't get any notifications. With the S24 Ultra, I would still get notifications from muted group texts.
The teardown of the s25u shows the S-pen charging hardware is installed. So Samsung is probably going to sell a bluetooth S-Pen in the future.
Is the s25 ultra going to get a camera update??? There's a huge issue . So i am trading my pixel 9 pro xl. Long story short the gallery has a massive issue where there's a grainy greenish hue around black colors. My son's hair looks horrible in a indoor shot. The pixel doesn't have the issue, however the samsung pictures look better on my pixel phone!! They uploaded to photos and I was browsing and then realized how good it was . I'm confused

Dude, I sent my S 24 ultra back in in the same box the day I received my 25 ultra, bye-bye didn’t like the rounded edges, and I can confirm from a couple location apps I run all day that the S 25 ultra does not getred hot like my S 24 did

I want an Ultra that is the size of the s25. Why doesn't Samsung just make the Ultra in 3 sizes ? Then, consumers can get all the bells and whistles in whatever size phone they prefer.

The size won't make it much cheaper. And they need to create a cheaper flag ship version for every iteration.
There are 3 s25 phones. The only difference is the pen, and size (i think battery on the smallest model). They all have the same processor.
What are you asking for? They can't fit all the same cameras and a pen inside a smaller phone. In this case "Ultra" means largest.

Said offer is probably still live because Americans don't want to support marketing bias. High pricing at a 4GB ram loss just for living on the wrong continent, especially where that concerns a first world nation that literally protects Samsung's headquarters from North Korea; is both dismissive and tawdry. The 900.00 discount is a grift because they're selling us *mostly* the same phone again with iterative adjustments to the chassis, while feature-stripping last year's S Pen to offset the overhead of integrating a new processor. That stated; I do hope that those who bought this device have a pleasant user experience; I'm just not interested in uninspired derivatives that forsake innovation to service the bottom line.
You know what's weird? They stk have the button to use the Bluetooth function on the pens. For what purpose 😂

Just dropped off my S24U, no regrets, S25U ..better speakers and also my ear buds sound better as well, flat sides, new battery, ergonomically fits in my hands and pants without the boxy feel and points jagging out everywhere...
Being that i have the s25 ultra. Ill be good until the s28 ultra i upgrade every 3 year's like i did from the S22 ultra too the s25 ultra.

They don't reduce the price with trade-in. They actually give you a credit. This is why you pay taxes on the full price.
You're paying $399 PLUS Tax on $1299 = $510(?) Out of pocket.

Other than that in my personal oppinion noone make nice upgrade this year. and it will be less and less becouse now problem Is thermal throttling, processor are fast you can put lot of ram nice graphic components but it will generate heat it will take lot of power so in my oppinion we gonna see lower and lower upgrades.
Untill they dont find how to cool down proccessor becouse he cannot work if he is too hot in this case or even too cold.
They need to find solution how to maintain IP68 watter resist and allso fan. Allso they think that we carw about weight but i care always two smartphones around 500 g and is nothing. so i will want to see they to puck up nice 310 g spot with nice cooling sistem with latest battery technology that dont degrade and allso have like 8000 mah and cooling sistem and allso 400 mg pixsesls and nice design.100 heavier is nothing. other than that they will bring less inovation if they dont want to risk.
I refuse to pay for any AI features that I pay enough on my Internet bill so forget it I don't need it then I can always install the deep seek AI app😮
Only the people who dont have an s25u are talking about how much of a downgrade it is. Its like they need to justify their decision to make themselves feel better. If you dont want to upgrade then just don't upgrade. Dont lie to yourself and everyone else when you dont know what youre talking about. Outside of the spen, the s25u is better in every way and its almost unanimously agreed upon by everyone who has actually used it for more than a day.
There is no charging ability in the sw5 for the s pen
