    The farmed cordyceps(militaris) is pretty effective too. I used to feel very tired in the afternoon and after taking the farmed form of cordyceps, I don't feel so tired anymore! Farmed cordyceps is also more sustainable and not so expensive.

    A loving FYI. Your thumbnail says "on" twice. Also, side note. If anyone is looking for a way to increase endurance naturally, but on the cheap, beet juice has been proven to increase O2 saturation throughout the body. Check out the studies🥰

    Mom had an old bottle of cordyceps, was curious and tried it. Turned out to induce heavy hunger within minutes and heavily combated my nausea, for background I have severe IBS and don't eat enough meals a day from the severe nausea and subdued hunger, had mixed results with using hemp, sometimes it defeated the nausea and sometimes it doesn't, and I soon built a resistance to it. Find it wild a shroom can help me that way and am now looking into other medicinal shrooms for help :)

    2:13 I am wondering if the fruiting body of this mushroom is more valuable than the mycelium. Paul Stamets, recently on Joe Rogan's podcast, was stating that mycelium is (sometimes) better than the actual fruiting body. Are these fungi different in that aspect in your opinion? What is your take on consuming mycelium vs. the fruiting body?

    • @Davyc712
      @Davyc712 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      (Ps) I feel the answer to this might be extensive so maybe a video on this topic would be adequate? Mycelium vs. Fruiting body

    • @FreshCapMushrooms
      @FreshCapMushrooms  4 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Hey there! We actually do have a video on this topic. (th-cam.com/video/xeHTTb_Ym0w/w-d-xo.html) We believe in using the fruiting body only, and there are lots of reasons for this, but mainly because of purity (ie. no fillers), history of use, and measured levels of fungal beta-d glucans. Pure mycelium itself can of course have benefits, like mentioned in this video something like CS-4 which is pure Cordyceps mycelium grown in liquid fermentation, without grain.

      Think about the mycelium being a living organism. It doesn't want to be eaten. Now think of it's fruiting bodies as a source of food for animals and bugs. The mycelium wants animals to consume it's fruit because that gives it a better chance of distributing the spores in the forest (or wherever it finds the best growth substrate). Most fruiting bodies will be eaten by animals and pooped out somewhere, and the spores are resilient to the digestion process.

    First of all great job, awesome work I appreciate all your efforts and also the information that’s been shared over the internet and you tube, very inspiring. I have a question, for me your work is like research on mycology particularly growing mushrooms would you like to release your work on a research paper I mean scientific journals, with your results so that it will be a good guide line for the people who are in the research field as well, and if you have already released your work can you please provide the link. Once again good job and my best wishes on your on going work!!! Have fun !! 👍

The next day I filled the pill bottle up with some water shook it with some contents like, I guess shake like left over contents. Then threw it into my San Pedro pot. A few days later I yellow cordyceps The Mycelium and everything looked just like the video.

    why is cordyceps expensive, like I get the whole reason for it being only found in high places in Tibet, but I mean couldn't you find it in other places that have other insects that are affected by it, like the ant in the BBC vid or somehow contain the spores and somehow let the mycelium effect other insects besides the catepellars

    Hi, what is the real market price of this cultivated mushroom per kg, google provides vastly different results...
    It seems like in some countries it costs fortune, while in China they sell bags of it for 15$ per kg (I get it, this is China and it could be fake, but also they have farms for every weird thing to produce on mass scale)
    I was wondering if it costs soo much because it is really that difficult to grow, or is there another reason...
    Could you explain? Thanks ^^
