    I’m a fighter. I have spent a lot of time playing with different adaptogens. I always come back to cordyceps militaris. It’s not the endurance help, necessarily, but the resistance to overtraining (illness, depression, injury, asthma, etc).
    I feel it does help endurance. I personally get the most benefit as an adaptogen
    Also. Love the channel. Great stuff man 😊

    I take one 30 minutes before sleep and I get the trippiest of dreams. The first time I took cordyceps, it took me to a dark place in my sleep. All my traumas and sins came together and were then banished. Then, I saw the light and found myself in a peaceful place. It was great.

    Cordyceps is the most intense supplement I've ever taken. I've taken it usually with coffee in the morning, and when it hits I find myself suddenly doing. I'm not jittery or manic, but I find that I need to follow through on my goals immediately whereas usually I just think about them. "I should go run," next thing I'm in my running clothes. Didn't waste time, just boom, I'm up and out the door. It does simultaneously make me totally un-grounded though. My body just feels light, which is a ridiculous thing to say, but between the increased ease of breathing (and it's not like breathing has ever been a challenge), and from what must be the increased blood flow, my body just feels ever so slightly "lighter". In regards to anti-stress, it's like a small hit of THC. I become so aware of all of the stress in my body that's always there, but feel all the stress more fully. There comes a time when I feel most compelled to space out and stare at the beauty of nature, though, in deep relaxation. After using for 4 days, the effects wear off after a couple hours, but I've never been so intensely effected by a supplement before. Just needed to share because of how intensely this stuff has hit me.

    I had seen on another YT video where cordyceps mushrooms help to kill tumors in prostate cancer(which I have), so I was excited to try & add it to my regimen of Reishi & Turkey tail mushroom capsules I get from FreshCap. But when you mentioned it could help increase testosterone, my heart sank as I’m on 2 meds that decrease my testosterone, which prostate cancer feeds on. While cordyceps could help with my asthma & high blood pressure, I can’t risk it also increasing my testosterone, which would be bad for my PC. *sigh* oh well…guess I’ll stick with my Reishi & Turkey tail & maybe add lion’s mane & changa…unless those increase testosterone, too.

    I used to take powdered extract form of this along with creatine, tongkat, maca root, ginseng root, in black coffee, the best preworkout stack I ever had. Literally felt like Superman, hard weightlifting with no fatigue in site. Have been off of it for like 6 months now but just reordered, trying to get back in the gym and get back to my old self.

    Yeah they do taste a bit strong but I just chop them up, add them to a glass of water and quickly down it. I have a spinal injury and usually can't walk much. Yesterday for the first time in twenty years I jogged a bit. That's a bloody miracle. The effect felt like a slight amphetamine type feeling. Pleasant and very energising.... I jogged! I can walk! I didn't even pay for it afterward. I feel fine. So I'm now going to have this every day and see how I go....

    I found some information on cordyceps supplements, which stated its dna is only 99.6% simular to natural cordyceps, which made me wonder if there was any negatives to this .4 difference. Also I found cordyceps increases cortisol, which is the stress hormone, that most people in this day and age already have high cortisol levels due to stressors. I suffer from severe chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia so I'm looking for something to increase energy levels but do not want to increase cortisol levels, or overwork adrenal glands. I used to have asthma until I spoke to a Canadian holistic doctor, who explain3d in detail how asthma was due to lack of water availability in the lungs, which send them into spasm, due to dehydration, since drinking 2 litres of water per day I haven't had an asthma attack in 13 years.

    • @eastindiaV
      @eastindiaV ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think medicinal effects should carry across the family cordyceps... the .4% different part is because a lot of commercial cordyceps is farmed, and the cordyceps being farmed is a subspecies adapted to lab growth.
      It's still organic, it's just like bananas, they look much different now after being farmed for so long. Or citrus fruit. Or corn.

    Maybe it's better to make tea tinctures with them?

    Hi! There's this popular company from China who sells products in Romania, namely ginseng extractum from 8 years old wild ginseng which I seldom use and are really effective and potent. The name of the company is Yong Kang (you can find pictures online) Now, they also have a product called CORDYANG, which says "cordyceps sinensis extractum" and on the back of the package (it is a package of 10 small ampoules), at the ingredients section it says like this: one ampoule contains: 2000 mg cordyceps sinensis powder, corn syrup. How do I know what is inside? as there's no clue anywhere, it says that the product is a notified product by the national research and development institute Bucharest. It costed only 14 RON which is like 3.28 dollars. Do you have any clue what this product is? If cordyceps is that expensive
