- Hey everyone, today I've pulled together 5 of some of my favorite old maps! Each map is 5 years or older, which for me is crazy to think about. I've been playing Ravenfield for a while, and I decided to look back at some of the maps that used to always been in my rotation. I tried to avoid the ones that are less well known, but also still amazing to play! It was hard to narrow it down because there are honestly a lot of great maps I left out, so let me know if you have any suggestions!

This is top notch quality for such a small channel!
Ampleforth Redux and Ilast Valley pretty fun, though Rancagua is my favorite map on the workshop.
(Project Altirus is still alive thanks to a redux of the Second Leersog War by Sofa, but it's not as expansive as the Legacy stuff.)
Thanks I appreciate it :)
I definitely plan on checking Rancagua out, looks like a great map! Also thanks for the info on Leersog, even if it’s a small amount it’s great to see it kept alive
Much like you, I played before the release on Steam and I ended up buying it on Steam day 1. It's been fun seeing the evolution of the game and the community that spawned from it. Thanks for this video, lots of maps I have fond memories playing on!
Edit: Y'know, I think one of the reasons these maps stood out is they had a special style and that you could only make them via Unity. The in-game map editor is a great tool, don't get me wrong. But making maps in Unity is incredibly rewarding coming from my whole one map of experience.
@@King_CreepaLot Glad to see another beta player here! I recently played the beta for fun again and wow there has been a lot of change. Granted it’s been 7 years, but still, the fact that the game is still getting updated is amazing.
Also I think your observation is spot on. The map editor is a nice feature, but at the end of the day the Unity maps definitely have a charm to them. The map editor can produce decent maps, but great maps tend to be made outside of the game.
What’s your map called on the workshop? I’d love to check it out!
@@nolberggg It's called Rancagua!
Oh my god I just realized who you are😂 I love your mods!! I have a bunch of your stuff already installed. Oddly specific but I used inspectable hands in a video and Pomp’s melee pack in my last video haha. Love your work!
@@nolberggg Haha, thanks a ton! Happy to hear about it! You make pretty great content, I must say. Some of the better Ravenfield stuff I've seen come out in a long time!
Loved the video! I would love to see a vid on your favorite updates ravenfield has ever put out! Or maybe updates you hope to see in the near future!
Glad you enjoyed, love the ideas as well! Ravenfield has certainly had some amazing updates and at the same time still has room to improve. Both of which could be great for a video!
Would like to see reviews of altirus, vanilla+ and other total overhaul mods
I like the idea! I’ll look into trying that out
Where Do You Find The LA-K12-A?
nice video my man
ay thanks!
Any Mod which features a story or a campaign? anyway nice video
I remember playing “(Halloween) Penumbra” by Sofa and it was essentially a story mode. Difficult but a great experience! Worth checking out
Can you do a video for your favorite gun mods?
I’ve got a video like that coming up soon! 😁
What is the weapon mod you used in the video called?
Hey! Unfortunately I’m away from my PC for a couple of days so it’s hard to look at the workshop, but the guns that had no hud come from the “pipe arms pack”, “SAR 308 REMAKE”, and “FN FAL”.
Im hoping the gun names in the bottom right can help, but if you need a specific one, let me know!
@@nolberggg thanks a lot
Is there sny mor that enhanced the A.I ?
Unfortunately, AI cant really be changed, and the game will also "dumb down" bots based on your CPU power and number of bots. With that said, smaller bot count maps wont have this problem as much. Specifically looking at older maps, I'd definitely recommend looking at Tug's Maps since he has so many gems. He has some great small-Medium sized maps such as "NGCC", "Locality Expanded", or "Sunshade". For other old maps that I know that had decent pathing, I'd suggest "Meteorite Isle", "Cliff Fort", or "Armor Field". Those are some I liked playing a while ago(away from home so currently can't check)
With older maps there is always a possibility that an update could mess with how well a map works, so I hope these recommendations are okay!
