5 simple Ravenfield mutators that improve general gameplay

- These are just 5 mods that I pretty much use all the time, no matter what type of battles I'm trying to set up. They improve QOL of Ravenfield imo, so these are typical must-haves when I'm setting mutators.
Unfortunately can’t post the links for each mod, but they should be very easy to find in the workshop on steam!
This video isn't ground breaking by any means, I mainly made this to try and get back into video editing more.

My biggest disappointment about this game is how the devs seem to be really laser focus on the story mode instead of fixing and polishing whats already in the game, especially the performance

2:16 when the blinking animation happened, it looked like the consciousnesses were transferred, and it looked sixk
You should look at the gore 2 mod. Makes it so much more immersive along with the medic mod. Bodies also back to the map so they dont despawn until a limit is reached
Definitely one of the better mutators out there, and a big fan of that combo! I don’t run it all the time since it can be a little taxing on performance, but still great for realism. Maybe I’ll look into the optimal possible settings for it
@@nolberggg the active ragdoll values I keep at 3 stiff and 0 spring. Really adds to some realism with the bleed out timer of the medic mutator as they just drop like a bag of rocks. turns most weapons into 1 to 2 shots before downing bots. So a simple mg burst from an enemy can easily cut down a squad. I have had so many moments where it's "let's go reinforcements!" to "shit it's only me now" in seconds.

great video, you have some good mutators there.
for the universal recoil u should try universal camera shake instead. camera shakes, makes recoil more random like a shotgun spread instead of making it go up, feels actually abit mroe realistic imo because it forces you to sorta spray in short bursts or just to tap at longer ranges
actually depends on how you tweak the universal recoil mutstor, but sure

another great muatator is auto squad. it adds random ai in ur team to your squad. thts around u
Totally agree! I think if I were to remake this video I’d include that
The only thing I don't like from AutoSquad it's that sometimes your squad it's on the other side of the map, it can be used to cap or defend nearby points but overall that's the only thing i dont like

Hey thanks for commenting! Unfortunately I randomly found the clips at 0:43, so I don’t know exactly which map that is. I can try and find it in a couple of days once I get access to my PC again.
I record using GeForce and audacity, and edit using Adobe!

limit respawn may not be added with the weapon pick
up mod,since the limit respawn just kills everyone that are about to spawn at a certain point,this will cause tons of weapons drop from nowhere and destroy the FPS
Yeah that's a pretty big problem I run into a lot, but I believe that only happens when the game has essentially ended. Pretty rough when you add a lot of bots though
this game is also fresh because it can be played without an internet connection, doesnt require in app purchases to get anywhere, and when you buy it, you own it. mods are a cherry on top.
