I really like that the width of streets has not been exagerated, really feels like a propper realistic cruising experience, hope the driving physics will keep up with !
Oh the streets have been very noticeably widened in many places. It's fine though because the real streets are way too narrow for a racing game.

from what seen here… the driving gonna feel „slow“ but thats an issue with most racing/car games imo. anyway…. i hope they make the speed feel more exciting 🙏🏼 test drive unlimited was my favorite car- game. so im waiting for this one!
The lack of camera bobbing feels odd and the lightning on the car is very PS3-esque. The world looks beautiful. Looking forward to the final release 👐
since we're talking about things to improve, the frame rate on the rear view mirror reflection while inside the car was really low and even skipped frames. I agree the lighting on the car was off, like the car had white matte paint but it didn't. but I was impressed with how smooth the gameplay felt in comparison with the previous gameplay trailer. high hopes for this game, the island looks super cool

The crew 1 has pedestrians but your car just goes right through them so while I guess it adds life to the cities it doesn’t really add much immersion imho

I love the fact you can put the windows down/up turn your engine off put the roof down on convertibles/spiders and even just the turn signals it’s little features that forza and nfs or other big names miss because they feel it’s irrelevant it makes it feel like you’re driving the car and not just a character you’re forced to be, also can we appreciate the sound system that they’ve made for this game those rumbles and pops were MEANNN
The fact that the Forza devs said that signals can’t be done because there aren’t enough buttons on a controller for that just shows how lazy they are
Yep, I bought the new nfs used and sold it two weeks later after only playing an hour. Exact same handling since 2015. Nope. The same ol it will send you into a drift and into a wall without you wanting to handling.
@@Blahsheep yeah I played the new nfs with gamepass and ditched it after a day I hate that just turning slightly puts you into a drift you didn’t even want to happen

TDU is always been best car series for me. The fact that I can drop roof, use indicators, see mirrors is something that no other games can manage. Instead of paying 70£ on Crew Im gonna wait for this
all those fake racing games are maded for people who just love cars and doesn't have knowledge about driving , personally i hate fake physics in anyways , but they jus want the money , i go with test drive too
@@donsina800 I'm not even worried about the driving mechanics tbh I'm sure there will be plenty of mods that will allow you to have the mechanics you want in no time at all. Thats what I'm primarily studying now so I can be able to make games more in-depth and dynamic. I'm more hyped about the ability this game allows for you to feel almost like your in the world with all the features that no other racing game seems to ever care about adding

Traffic density changes with time of day just like real life.
@@Boston2Boca Even so, it still looks unrealistically empty.There are several moments where the driver is driving in broad daylight, yet almost no traffic. Feels like the the city is in lockdown during a pandemic
Looks weirdly pre-baked/rendered. I think its the fact AI is driving the car super precisely and the camera is totally fixed that makes it look rigid and inorganic

Agreed, HK is known to be a very dense place and it's uncanny seeing the streets being so empty.
I love how clean and detailed it is. It isnt too colorful or over the top like NFS/Forza. The night time rain looks perfect as well

This started the whole open world car racing games! I remember playing test drive unlimited 1&2 and being able to have multiple houses with different cars and attention to detail of the cars. Having to locate the dealerships and motorcycles to buy. I know this is the alpha stages but I still can’t wait .
Not to give you any bad news but I heard houses won't be at launch. I think they put it aside for now because of time constraints. But it will for sure be a feature. Dealerships and casino will be at launch I think.

I have hopes for the game after the abrupt lack of support for TDU2. I clocked countless hours on TDU1 and just loved the dealerships and how they were modeled after the real ones of the time. Looking forward to it whenever it finally releases 😅

Wish I could come out of the car on a random spot like that at the end and just cherish its beauty.
In BeamNG you can do everything in this video and more. Open your door, bonnet, trunk, walk around the car, jump back into the car and drive with everything flying. It's fun.
@@kak8895 Yeah well too bad it's main focus is crash physics. Don't get me wrong beamng is great but could you imagine if Forza's car physics were hyper realistic? It probably wouldn't make for a very entertaining simcade racer
@@VersoTai The game is literally called "BeamNGdrive" never saw "BeamNGcrash". It's a driving game with decent traffic AI, cops etc. Too many TH-camrs devolved it into a mere crash simulator when it does hundreds of things better than most car games. Even past and upcoming TDU can't compare.
Forza having realistic physics is pipe dream. PGG know their audience, they can't even attempt it. Coding realistic physics is difficult and resource demanding making it more of a pipe dream for Forza. It took Forza more than a decade to begin support for steering wheels and even then the FFB still lacks with steering angle capped at 180°|360°

I really hope to see more traffic as well and hope they add more basic traffic cars so far I've seen a few more sports cars as ai when in HK the majority is mini vans and Toyota sedans

Great trailer! Definitely shows off the visuals well. It’s looking better than I was seeing before, graphics are solid. Love the car adjustments to change the windows, the top and use blinkers. Was hoping they would add those fun role playing features.

@@yiannos7129 Different teams, different expectations. These graphics look better than I expected for the team making this game. Their pedigree is mostly rally games with closed loop tracks, not something with a giant open world like this.

The car looks like it has no suspension at all
It's just the stiff camera following the car so aggressively, even when the suspension compresses the camera moves up to make sure it sticks to the car like glue... Horrible camera, Gran Turismo levels of bad

This is looking VERY promising. Still needs quite a bit of an improvement on the car model graphics and physics (or was that external camera effect?), but it shows A LOT of work has already been done. I honestly can’t wait for this, having played TDU1 and 2, if SC could give me the same feelings as those, that would be wonderful, and a certain success in sales
Finally someone understood what Test Drive really stood for. Cant wait to light my joint and get lost in the rain.

They need to do something with the camera movement. It looks so stale, static, like Gran Turismo.
I am not a fan of the GT style stiff camera.
I think you will be able to change or remove camera stiffness in settings or in gameplay
people do be having mental breakdowns when racing games dont have screen shake when theyre going more than 26 km/h
@@PunChris_92 Where you get the mental breakdown from? I am not talking about camera shake btw. I am talking about the camera always been directly behind you. Normally in games when you turn a corner the camera laggs a bit so you see a little of the side of your car.

That fixed camera angle is waaaay too stiff. No motion blur, no camera wobble or shake. What an artificial and frustrating issue. Won't buy for that reason alone.

Looking great, all the little features make a big difference... one thing i have always wanted to see in these types of games and i have said it since TDU2 released, is the ability to stop the car on the side of the road, turn the engine off & GET OUT. just push a button, a short cutscene of your character getting out and then boom you can walk around, even if it is restricted to a specific distance you can walk from your car. im thinking of the car meets you can have anywhere in the game with friends.

Man, I want to like this game, but the graphics kind of seem outdated. Looks like a game from 2014. And that 20fps when in cockpit view really wasn't helping, either. Car noise sounds a little quiet, too. But man, the city looks GORGEOUS, i'll give it that. Hoping this is from an early build and not the final product.
