My mustang came straight piped, and my neighbors don’t seem to mind but I constantly feel it’s just too loud for the people around me and that actively stops me from enjoying it. My wife absolutely loves it straight piped and is resisting me putting mufflers back on it but some times I really want to.
@@Gkitchens1 I feel that. When I got my truck, I put a nasty Flowmaster muffler on it. After about 50k miles I ended up putting the stock exhaust back on for reasons you identified. Thanks for watching!

I have an 07 GT with BBK long tubes and catted x pipe and the same MBRP muffler deletes…it’s REALLY loud lol. Like this one but worse and with a lot of rasp in the mid range. I might be getting some GT500 mufflers on her soon
you car sounds amazing. mine is a 10 gt. 4.6 3 valve as well. bbk shorties, bbk adjustable axle backs, baffled cutouts, pypes high flow cats. brenspeed detroit rockers, dyno tuned...super fun engine and best sounding! in modern times.
I have a 08 gtcs just like that mine is far from stock, it's not done yet but I hope to have it on the road this summer God willing. Here is what I have for it now, edelbrock super charger, Comp cams, American racing long tube headers, American Racing high flow cats, Rouch stainless tails with highly polished tips. As far as the wheels, American Racing tourqe thrust 18 by 12 in back and 18 by 11 in front chrome, she looks sweet can't wait to get her on the road. She only has 27,000 miles on the clock. By the way it's black.

Thanks, she’s not perfect. But tons of fun for now. Short answer… the car would not pass Missouri inspection without cats. Check engine light is on for two bank 02 sensors not being connected at all. Full disclosure: I put an ad up on marketplace for “inspection recommendations” with a picture of the car. Some random dude told me to take the car to a specific shop and ask for a specific person. Let’s put it this way… inspection was a little more expensive. I left there with a passed inspection and the understanding that I had “modified my car after I left the inspection…” if you catch my drift. Anything is possible. Apologies for the longwinded response, but I left this exhaust setup as a temporary setup. The car is capable of a lot more power with a proper setup. I have full intentions of installing a BBK setup this winter: headers, high flow cats, x or h pipe, and maybe keep the MBRP muffler delete or go borla Atak. Hope this helps!

It reminded me of an early morning run to pick up something for someone and I was with a friend. It was around 06:30 AM and I saw a fresh kill, so fresh that, when his high-beams hit it, you could still see how wet the blood on the road was and I noticed it was a large wild boar. Hell, his tusks were around 6-7 inches long, big boar. I said, 'Fresh roadkill, let's get it." he was like, 'I don't have the time.' I also told him, 'If we don't the next guy somewhere behind us will.' We were heading back about 25 minutes later and sure enough, it was gone. Only thing left was the blood spot. Hahaha! I love being a country boy. 🤣

I just got one last week with 100k flat miles has carb legal headers, airaid intake, short shifter and suspension work but stock muffler what should I get
They’re Raxiom Euro Headlights. The ones I got are factory style replacement housings that are black lens and black housing. I can’t seem to find them onAmerican Muscle right now. She sounds like a Mustang should, now. Much better than the stock Ford Racing exhaust I had on it. Wasn't easy on the drivers side for the headers though. One bolt like to have made me give up after dropping it like 100 x's. 🤕 Header tube design where this bolt went was right inline with the bolt placement and the bolt was 3/8 of an inch too long for it to fit. Ended up going to Advanced Auto Parts and finding a match but, shorter to use. Still, a pain in the arse getting it but... Wait, that didn't come out right. 😆 Anyway, after dropping it a few more times, it worked. She's sweet sounding now, even from inside the car. 😉

Neither… straight pipe off the header to the muffler delete. No connection at all between the two piped, true dual. Not the most desirable nor powerful setup, but it sure sounds good (for now). Hahaha

And here in New Zealand 🇳🇿 I paid $20,000 for the Mustang and then when I bought it home from the seller the stupid thing wouldn’t run properly so needed a total rebuild there goes another $20,000 for the Mustang people here we get ripped off. @@lifewith26gang45 well you can mod a 3V too. Look up Four Eyes mustang and see him beat Camaros, new Coyote mustangs, etc. and he’s naturally aspirated. Regardless of your mods, it still sounds like a V6 and the 05-09 body style looks so much better with a true retro look.

Tank is super small! I think it’s 12 gallons, so it hurts less to fill… I believe usually around 15-18mpg, but I’ve seen up to 22 on long road trips.

I’ve always had good luck with Borla if you’re looking to make it sound pretty nasty. Can’t go wrong with Flowmaster though.

Neither… straight pipe off the header to the muffler delete. No connection at all between the two piped, true dual. Not the most desirable nor powerful setup, but it sure sounds good (for now). Hahaha

And here in New Zealand 🇳🇿 I paid $20,000 for the Mustang and then when I bought it home from the seller the stupid thing wouldn’t run properly so needed a total rebuild there goes another $20,000 for the Mustang people here we get ripped off. @@lifewith26gang45 well you can mod a 3V too. Look up Four Eyes mustang and see him beat Camaros, new Coyote mustangs, etc. and he’s naturally aspirated. Regardless of your mods, it still sounds like a V6 and the 05-09 body style looks so much better with a true retro look.
