For a price of 3 hamburgs, this tool is worth every penny. Because the price are so reasonable, it has become pointless to compare those clones with the over-priced original brands.
As you can see I have made no such comparisons in the video. For the price it is a very good buy indeed! Even more so if you get it on sale like I did! I paid about 40EUR for the tool, charger and two batteries. My only issue is that charging these types of tools is painfully slow.
Good test. Here it's a test, no problem but in real life, I never understand the point of some mechanics to screw the bolts so strongly they damage the rims or just break the bolt.
I don't understand that either! Maybe they want people to come back to them as they don't have air impact at home to the the bolts of. Perhaps they are just making sure business stays strong. Jokes aside, because of such tight bolts I have broken many OEM wheel nut wrenches. Not a nice feeling if you get a puncture...
I bought the bigger version of the same "brand". Lot quieter than these small ones and so much more power but sometimes it stops working. Light comes on but no rotation. Reinserting the battery gets it going again. Sometimes rotating the socket back and forth with hand also gets it going again. You get what you pay for.
Interesting video! But I don't understand why the one anvil has a hole in it? It looks like you could put a 1/4'' bit in there, but wouldn't it just fall out?
Thank you! Yes, indeed this is a combination anvil, it takes both 1/2” sockets and 1/4” bits. There is a magnet in there, not strong and does not last too long with that impacting, but as soon as it falls out you glue it in place with a proper glue and then you’re fine. Not a bad option to have for some emergency impacting on small stuff.
i got mine for €17 on banggood, i looked up the brushless motor itself is actually worth ~€10 lol (by that logic 1 nice meal in a restaurant costs about 3 brand new impact wrenches then)
An interesting experiment, would be buying some genuine battery from an entry brand as Einhell or Parkside, gut it interior and assembly it on a Makita battery casing. That would be an option to some questionable batteries coming with some of these.
I did try one of these with a Parkside battery and there are gains over the original battery. Not massive gains, however not small gains either. At least 50Nm, if not 100Nm of unscrewing force up on the included battery and everything else is A LOT faster.
Had that same hard to fit/ remove bits on mine. On a old fence gate, neither this nor a genuine 36v dewalt could shift it. Dunno why your using a rattle gun for anything other the nuts.
I mean it does have a 1/2" anvil and also a 1/4" hex bit opening. So may as well test them both out. But I agree it is far too big to be used as an impact driver.

@Zanderman2000 I have seen some listings on Aliexpress that mention that these batteries can not be charged on a genuine charger. Other listings mention nothing at all. So it is a tricky answer if it is not tested. On the other hand the chargers these batteries come with charge slow and the chargers heat up. My thinking is that is sort of a safety feature, because you don‘t want heat buiöding up in the cheap cells of the battery.
