  • Steel Houses are not insulated as good as a regular Block house, the foam boards are easy to work with and can be push up the wall cavities.
Here are some specifications from there website.
R-Tech is a high-performance rigid insulation consisting of
a superior closed-cell, lightweight and resilient expanded
polystyrene (EPS) with advanced polymeric laminate facers.
R-Tech is available with factory adhered metallic-reflective
facers, white facers or a combination of the two. The core
of R-Tech is the same high-quality as our InsulFoam® brand
insulations and meets or exceeds the requirements of ASTM
C578, Type I, Standard Specification for Rigid, Cellular Poly-
styrene Thermal Insulation. In addition, R-Tech has excellent
dimensional stability, compressive strength and water-resis-
tant properties. R-Tech is an Energy Star® qualified insu-
lation and qualifies for LEED points.

You could add a blind and blocking curtains cheaper than replacing the window.

Why do you place the silver part facing in?

That's the exterior wall, it's facing out.

2" R Tech only has an R rating of 5
2" of fiberglass insulation has an R value of almost 11. Fiberglass batts are mush easier and faster to install.
R Tech is the worst material in terms of cost vs R value. It is the lowest quality of foam which is why it has such a low R value per inch. It's R value is so low that they do not even print it on the boards for the consumers to compare in the store.
Johns Manville and other brands of foam are more dense and have R values of 6 per inch vs R Tech of 2.7 for the first inch. R Tech foam is so poor that it's rating per inch DECREASES with increased thickness. The foil provides the initial bump in the R value.

R 2" is 7.7, wall already have fiberglass R20, I added this to keep the installation from falling from the attic and I was able to cut all the drywall and push the boards up into the attic with the metal foil UV protection as well. Since the installation that corner of the house has improved big time, next will be the windows change out.
