Did you all notice in his picking her up gesture, his hands were fists, there's obvious tension there. And he made a pushing away movement with both hands as he released his fists, kind of like throwing her away from himself. I think that gesture was the truest thing he "said" in that interview, he was showing how he threw her body somewhere. Love you gentlemen! Been with you since the first video 😊

Hey Guys - I'm confused by your new video release schedule. Did I miss an update about a new schedule?
I've been a panelist for several years now. What I've learned has been INVALUABLE!
I'm a Criminal Defense Paralegal and using your teachings during client and witness interviews has been a game changer. Jury selection is always a challenge, but knowing a little more about behavior has given us a bit of an advantage.
Love everything y'all do - always surprised to learn something new when watching a "recap".
So give a girl your new release schedule! I don't want to miss a thing! 😊

What's so offensive about this whole case is that he was already in prison before for murdering a young woman, Stephanie Flores. I hope once he is allowed to be extradited back to USA, he gets a life sentence without parole. Even at 17 he acts smug, entitled, haughty. He became a monster at a young age.
In light of his recent confession, on the anniversary of Natalie Hollaway’s disappearance, and this early interview with Chris Cuomo, your analysis of Joran’s behavior is very enlightening and complimentary to the known history of this arrogant double murderer. He seems to be still be quite a narcissist. His self-importance is as big as his body size. He still sounds unrepentant.

My first time in Mexico I was drunk & fell asleep outside. My "friends "let me sleep outside all night. I woke up at sunrise, walked to see the sunrise over the courtyard. There was a hill & on top was a little park. It was adjacent to hotel. There was a man creeping up!! He was obviously bent over hiding, coming my way. I turned & went into the room. So " friends or acquaintances will leave you, no regard for safety.

Wow - this was a very interesting resolution to your initial assessment. It was so instructional to link where you thought he was deceptive in the Cuomo interview to the actual confession tape. I also appreciated your editing, using a double screen of the Cuomo footage with the pop out of you four analysing each segment, so we could easily see what you were talking about. Lots to learn here.
Did anyone else notice how weird the last segment of his "confession" tape sounded. He lost fluency when talking about disposing of the body in the ocean. I wonder if he actually was alone when the body was disposed of.

Criminal defense attorney here. I think he deliberately threw his shoes into the ocean because he was concerned they might have blood or other evidence on them, and this is why he smiled at the question as to whether he panicked. He didn't panic at all; he thinks this was a great bit of hiding of evidence on his part.

He said that there was a lot of other couples on the beach.
Why did nobody see 👀 him attacking Natalie? He had a sinister plan before they ever walked out of the bar. I think that he put something in her drink and whatever it was didn't incapacitate her like he hoped that it would have.
(He planned on S.A. her without her being physically capable of running, or fighting back).
*** She wanted nothing to do with his plan and She rejected him and tried to fight back.
He was not going to take, "NO" for an answer.
*** I believe that he S.A. then he murdered her and called someone to help him transport and dispose of her body.
If he truly walked out to knee deep water and pushed her body, wouldn't some evidence have washed up to shore?
What did he do with the cinder block that he claims that he hit her with?
*** He's lied many times. I think that he told just enough truth to pass the lie detector test, but he lied about some of his actions and he left some details out.
*** I believe that he did the same things to both of his victims.
*** He's said that Natalie would never be found. (I believe that he took her to a construction site and had concrete poured over her body). I honestly don't think that he just pushed her body while in knee deep water ,taking the risk of her body washing up on shore,or clothing, or other Evidence.
*** I hope that he is miserable for as long as he breathes for everything that he did to his victims and for the loss and pain that he has inflicted on their families.

As horrific as this confession is , Chase, Scott , 28:19 Mark & Greg take the first interview apart extremely well. Scott “ his eyes get real wide “ around the point of leaving his shoes and it looks like dupers delight. Chase I for ONCE heard what you were about to say ! When Chase says he left Natalee “ IN THE - ON THE SAND.”
Mark, love the importance of shoes and the the Cinderella story “in a panic she leaves a shoe behind.” The same thing happens here he left his shoes behind probably in a panic as well.
Greg at this same point in time saw arrogance not dupers delight.
I lean more towards arrogance as well.
I spotted the part about wanting to leave to go home now because he “ wants to go to school the next day!” As if going to school was on his mind at all , no way!

In his confession Joran said that he kicked her in the face. That may have been the reason for making the shoes disappear.
When asked about the shoes he wore that fatal night he could simply say 'I lost/ left them at the beach'.

I think he called his father and he is the person that took her out and pushed Natalie into the deep ocean . Knowing that she will never be found . He now says that he placed her in the water but if that's true her body would if washed up on the beach anywhere along the beach ? That didn't happen because we know Natalie was never found .

The "in" the sand vs "on" the sand. If he is Dutch, could it be a difference of how they say it in Dutch and he is translating directly from Dutch to English? Just and idea.

    • @neva.2764
      @neva.2764 ปีที่แล้ว +3

In Dutch it's indeed "in" the sand but I don't think he's literally translating when he speaks.

I even commented on your original vid to this.
I knew he carried her into the ocean .
I think sometimes we forget just how massive an unforgiving the ocean is.
We think she would’ve been washed in, would’ve been able to track the currents, there would’ve been something that would wash back etc.
But if you think of the amount of ppl that drown and are never found it just goes to show how easily the ocean can swallow you.
    Great work guys I loved
what you guys seen/heard I was on the same page.

My daughter worked for a couple that vacationed in Aruba. My daughter went wind surfing and said she got blown away from shore. No one told her the wind & currents went away from the shore & she was rescued by some kind fisherman. Van der Sloot definitely knew about the ocean there

If he's a psychopath/sociopath, it probably wouldn't occur to him that leaving a woman alone on a beach at night would morally be the wrong thing to do. In his mind, he was finished with her at that point, and his needs would have been what was important to him - i.e. going home.

Joran also had known anger issues as a teen he was being treated for, and allegedly goes home to get his father to help get rid of the body. Then they secure a boat and dump body at sea. The tide washes the crime scene away. Five years to the day he murders another young lady in one of his rages and walks away. He was beaten in prison. He claims to have found God.

"sitting in the sand" vs "sitting on the sand" may also have been the result of a language slip, as it is not unusual in Dutch to say that you sit in the sand rather than on the sand.

Yeah that was my thought as well. It is most common in Dutch to say '*in* het zand zitten', and it sounds like he does struggle a bit with English to the point where an error like that isn't unusual.

Can't believe he confessed! In a way it's refreshing to hear a guy you're analyzing say the truth, for a change! Imagine if Jodi Arias told the truth. It's almost underwhelming.
