    I have a hard time smiling and if I do I think I look awkward, I would love to be able to genuinly be warm and be able to smile authentically to people. maybe ill practice in the mirror

      You’re not alone with this: I have a section related to this in my book. My face muscles often shake if I smile while nervous, and it used to stop me smiling sometimes in the past. But I discovered that the pros of smiling were stronger than the cons

      @@DrThomasSmithymanI have exactly the same problem and I have started to come across as very unapproachable I guess. I also started to notice that the person on the other side also reflects the same awkwardness in response to my tight facial expressions. I just cannot smile normally and also get super awkward around people.
      I have ended up ignoring many nice strangers who gave me a warm smile, in the past and continue to do that. It is just frustrating.
