- With lots of practice and even more patience, you can learn to Free Motion Quilt your own quilts!! This is a quilt that I am doing an easy meandering stitch ~ easy for beginners!
Join me for Truelove Family stories (which I have many, as a mother of 10 kids), Mothering Autism, with our Maxwell on our many fun car rides, and Free quilting class and sewing lessons! And as in a 'classroom' setting, my tutorials are approximately 1/2 hour+ long....So Join me in my home sewing room, out and about and trying to make all sorts of quilted goodies! Be aware ~ I like to chat and probably repeat myself over and over, (and stutter sometimes), and if this annoys you, then view elsewhere - but, if patient, you hopefully will learn a new method or technique and get an insight into a very large family and their crazy fun:)
And as always: Love From The Trueloves;)
I can imagine a lot of teenager would really love this quilt. The reprogramming the brain, that’s when I get in trouble.😂🤣😂. Thanks Jean you are a force to be reckoned with. Thanks again for being awesome. 👍❤️🙂
Such a happy quilt! Thanks for the tips Jean! Glad Maxwell is feeling better!❤❤❤
Glad to hear Maxwell is doing better today, I pray he continues to improve as well as you Jean.
Hi Jean I always say that I FMQ because of you!!!! When I did your Dear Jean quilt I decided to just go with it and copied what you did ,I'm not the best at it but I do find I get a bit better with every quilt I do. Hope Maxwell will feel better soon and lovely to see you looking so well xx
Good morning Jean. I have been practicing my FMQ on my vintage machines. I am having success. I just learned from you that I can "anchor" each section first. I am going to try that on the next one. I do love this quilt and I downloaded the pattern. I am just finishing 6 quilts so I am a bit quilted out right now, but in my future 🤣🤣🤣 I hope to make that one. Thanks for sharing and continued prayers for you all and especially Maxwell, dear boy. 💗
You are so good at the free motion quilting. The stitches look amazing. I don't have that skill. I'm so glad that Maxwell is doing better. How's Ian doing? And Jen? Always like seeing new videos from you. Thanks Jean.
The quilt looks like summer. And my you have the pedal to the metal there, Jean -- which is easy for you considering all the quilts you've done! Hope Maxwell is doing better. Blessings.
I did go fast didn't I?!?!? But do as I SAY, not as I DO!!! LOL!

Just a question-if you have secured quilt with straight lines, why do you need the pins still in the quilt?
