Good video - owned a Lotus 380 and 430 Cup, never again. The time to modify a car, set up by Porsche to be a great all rounder, is when you can drive a very good friction circle. The 991.2 GT3 touring and 991.2 GT3 RS are peak Porsche in my view. The weakness with the 991.2 GT3 winged as a track car is the front end and its not a suspension issue per se although the spring rates are less than ideal, its more a track and grip issue. This is what they fixed with the 991.2 GT3 RS where they significantly increased track and added more tire - this dramatically improved turn in and reduced understeer. The track width and spring rates of the 991.2 GT3 RS are near identical to the 992 GT3 without the overly quick rack in the 992 GT3 which makes the 992 GT3 annoying/twitchy on B roads.
I personally find it very well balanced. It is still a 911 and you need to trailbrake effectively, but in my opinion the front has more than enough grip!
I like how it's been modified but doesn't look like it has been. That said, I do like a gold BBS wheel... Does anyone know what band he's from? Or his stage name if solo? 😎
@@brunomajor1860 sorry meant to say NOT the mag ones... where did you find yours? My car goes to JZM, so should I just ask them? I have only seen these forged alloy ones for sale in the US.... I think BBS being in financial difficulty probably doesn't help the supply chain situ.
@@brunomajor1860are you going to go for a lighter flywheel and shorter gear ratios? Also remember the sharkwerks boys did that to an older 981 gt4.. so might be possible....
@@VerangaF430I will if I can be 100% sure it’s safe. Shorter gear ratios are definitely possible but I don’t see why Preuniger would have stated a SMF is harmful to the 991 engine if it wasn’t
@@brunomajor1860 yea it's better to be safe and he is a very honest man and he is the lord as you said.. Definitely a dream to own a GT3 one day... I hope I can be like you one day. So many dream Porsches in my list hahaha. Enjoy your car in good health..
Sensible high performance upgrades while maintaining the timeless looks of the car… great job, Bruno! Thanks for sharing.
Bruno beat me to that car, as we were looking at the same time for a manual gt3
Finally what a long wait!
Back with another belter 👌
Sick AF car 🔥🔥🔥 I usually prefer the older stuff, but that 991.2 GT3 is 👌
Epic ❤
Awesome.

PS: would still love a 430 cup
@@brunomajor1860 Honestly, wasn't that good. 😀

Bruno Major is the name
Awesome car, big money on mods is commendable.
PS4 S's are amazing road tyres but they just melt on track. 4 laps if you're lucky even in 15°C air temp
The only thing that would make these videos better is if Frank got to drive / passenger ride these cars
where can one find those wheels?!
OEM porsche magnesium wheels, BBS also does them
@ those aren't mag ones. I can’t find the bbs 20s online anywhere…. They are lovely.
They are the BBS RE forged aluminium wheels, can be tricky to find it took me a while to get a set in the right colour

Yeah Tom sourced mine!
Amazing! How many kilos has been saved in total? Thank you!
Around 60kgs, enough to make a big difference to the feel of the car 👍

“Interesting”
Spa = Snetterton? Snetterton flat as a pancake 😂
I said a giant undulating Snetterton 🤝
Manual is 23kgs lighter than PDK not 50kgs tks … Surface Transforms are the ultimate ; ) … agree on PS4S
I stand corrected, still a chunk of weight!
Absolutely hate the camera tint. Jesus Christ it's nauseating
