Growing up around muscle cars was fun, but over the years my taste has changed dramatically. I have gotten to a point where I love a car that handles great and is just fun to drive. Unfortunately most Porsches are just too expensive for me, but Porsch Is my favorite car company. I would love to have a 914, I know most Porsche people look down on them, but I have always loved the way they look.
Lovely car and nice vid! I remember the hype around 996 4S’s and in fact 996.2s generally. It was almost impossible to get them at the time and there were quite a few imports, many of them C98 Cyprus spec I think. Could be wrong.
Thank you for this video this is your subscriber on the West Coast Los Angeles United States. I learned a lot in this video thank you and his ashtray which turns into a iPod that’s crazy I would like to do something like that. We have a lot of people that are innovative around the globe and this guy definitely has some great ideas thank you
This video was eye-opening! So many cool options to keep these classic cars relevant in the modern age. FYI: the lone AWD switch was exclusive to the C4-only 1989 964 (Porsche probably realized the 1990 C2 also needed a knob in that space and figured “zit should be for zee spoiler” so the C4 got both knobs)…
A real Porsche aficionado that we PORSCHE PEOPLE can relate to and that is all the little details from the brake color to the headlight black trim to the painted whale tale it all matters!
It's a great build, and Justin's iPad modification is superb.
Great interview, great car , great guy & Thank you Frank / Niners Unplugged......😎❤2 the F9's.
Best episode yet. Really enjoyed it.

Get a 944. Cheap, and a great handling car

Great video, Gerry put that cow bell in my Nato Olive GT3 on our Scotland tour! Love the iPad idea, I need to buy another 993/964👍
Great car, interesting owner, another great story.
Love the format of this channel. 👍
Great video and love the car 🤛🤛 be great on these videos if you could start each car up to listen to the exhaust sound 👍👍
Love this car. Great seeing all the little details. Totally set up for how he uses it.😎😎
it would be great to be able to get one of these ash tray iPad mounts please :)
Funny I still have that same steering wheel, had mine since 1997.
Nice car and interview 👌🏿
Awesome J.
I’ve always wanted to know about the details on your car. Great interview - famous9’s now??!!
Great idea with the Blaze cut system. Been considering one as well as a precaution in mine.

I have a 996 C4 C16 spec supplied by Porsche Belgium. I think a lot of military guys brought them back as a VAT / tax fix in the 90s
GT3RS life 😎😎😎👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾
Great interview. ExF9’r 😃

The 4 wheel drive switch I expect will be from a 89 C4 before the spoiler switch was added when the C2 was introduced in 90.
My question is: can we add a spoiler knob to our 89 cars?
What’s the disc underneath the rear spoiler - didn’t quite catch what it was or was for etc
Interested to know what sub you have under the seat as looking to get one in my 964 Targa
It’s a pioneer, the thinnest one I could find at the time. Actually sits in the rear foot well as the ecu is under the seat.
Interrogation style interview.. and what year did you buy the 997....
