I am new to the loom world but not the bead world. I am in this creative rut but need to stay busy to keep me sane. I decided to loom and was just searching for some pointers and here you are. You are a blessing. Thank you for your tactfulness not only in your work but in teaching your technique and why that technique. Knowing "why" helps me to remember better. Thank you for taking the time out for sharing and spreading the wealth of knowledge and creativity. God bless you.

I have 2 questions... what kind of loom is that? And why did you leave the 3 spaces? I’m confused about that. Thank you!

Oops...never mind about the loom! You said it later!

This is a Beadcat loom from Beadcats. But I did modify it since the standard configuration is hooks; I drilled a hole in the center front and added a peg that can be removed and modified the back so it is adjustable... (see approx 18 min in the video). As for the 3 spaces, go to approx 10 minutes in for an explanation. This project is 17 beads wide, but the spacing on the loom is more narrow than the beads. Since I want the first warp and last warp to align with 17 beads, I need to skip spaces on the loom to make that work. Hope that helps!
