    I'm a beginner and I've watched a dozen videos but have felt too unsure to try making a bracelet until I watched your video. Now, I feel fully confident to giving this a try. You didn't assume that the viewer had any previous knowledge. You were clear and concise. And you finished what you had started. You zoomed in at the appropriate times. In my opinion, you deserve the video tutorial award of the year!

    This is, by far, the BEST tutorial for bead weaving I’ve found. Sam’s instructions are clear and easy to follow. The person who was behind the camera also did a great job with closeups at just the right time. I’ve never made a bracelet like this, but after watching Sam’s tutorial, I feel confident that I can do it. The only suggestion I have is that it would be helpful to list the types of supplies used in the description box below the tutorial. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, Sam. 👏🏻♥️

    I have some traditional bead patterns that I have carried around for about 30 years, now maybe the time to actually make them up and wear them.

    Thanks so much for this tutorial!! I'm always looking for new and easy ideas to finish loomwork. This idea is fantastic. It's super easy and looks great when you match the compassion and ultra suedes to the color of one of the beads as you did. Love the idea of using the tray as a loom!! Super use of available resource!! Love the clear, concise and detailed instruction. You left no guesswork!! Great JOB!!!

    I just want to thank you so much for this video. My son bought me a loom large enough for purses TWO Christmases ago (have a feeling he doesn't think I'll ever "play" with it) and I've been petrified to even try to work with it. This is the first video that shows very clearly and completely every step needed along the way. And also you positioned the camera so closely that I didn't have any trouble seeing what you were talking about. You have made me feel like I night actually be able to do it. I can see that I'll need to pick up a few things before I get started (FINALLY). I hope to make my son proud! Thanks again.

    I have the same feelings about this video as the person below my comment. I am also a beginner and I too have watched many beading videos. Most have left me confused and frustrated but your video is really easy to understand and follow.
    I was confused at how to create or follow a pattern and how to use the pattern on any type of loom. Not many channels mention this and I feel it's critical.
    Thank you for making such a great tutorial!

    Hi MetalGrannie,
    Thank you for watching our video. We are so sorry that it was a bit of a hassle for you to find what you were looking for. The Zap Jewelry Gel is more like crazy glue and has a pretty fast drying time. The Hypo-tube Cement is a more slow drying epoxy.

    Thank you. Will it fall apart w yarn or ko thread though because I've already started and glued a few bracelets with it. Or is the bigger diameter just helpful because you don't have to do as much weaving until you've reached desired length? Thanks so much for helping me

  • @cayce9320

    Thanks Sam. I noticed you have doubled up on your thread you pass through the beads. What if I wanted to make my design using size 11 beads - would you still need to double up the thread? I'm concerned it will be too crowded for that much thread, especially when you have to end off/add on more thread as you add beads.

  • @bevypaul
    @bevypaul 10 ปีที่แล้ว

    Great video! My problem always comes when I have to weave thread back through beads that are already secured on the waft or loom. The holes seem to be to small for the needle to pass through so I have a hard time securing ends. What would you suggest?

I follow lots of channels for anecdotes and humor - so I don't mean to poopoo the rambling tangents, but imho, a tutorial isn't the place :) oh wow... I just did the thing I referred to! Oh well that's ok, it's not my tutorial ;) Bottom line is, thanks for the clear, concise, and very useful tutorial. Well I am sure glad I found your video! I have been bead looming and gave up due to the fact I didn't really know what to do at the ends (tried using beads to make the loop and ball, which were not very sturdy). Now I can make bracelets for my friends and they can actually wear them long term! They end up usually just being put on display after coming loose. :) THANKS FOR SHARING THIS EASY TECHNIQUE, YOUR AWESOME!

    Hello,
    If it says good on leather or quick drying you should be fine. Make sure to test it out on scrap material first. You don't want to mess up your finished product if the glue doesn't work. :)
