Planning is generally good. This is especially the case for small activities that are within control. But as a planner myself, it becomes easy to disappoint yourself when your own expectations aren't met due to circumstances outside of your control (health, new opportunities, etc.). Planning out daily activities but leaving room for future change helps ease emotional distress. Goal posts can shift in life and that's totally fine
