I learned that living below my means helped me to be humble and appreciative. I be feeling like I deserve more and I know that day will come. I do get frustrated but I also know that I have to be grateful and humble because even though I feel like it should be different, a lot of people would kill to be in the position that I’m in.l so if you’re reading this just know that it will be okay and everyone’s timeline is different so live YOUR life. The current administration added corporate tax relief for companies with open positions they arent able to get filled. It's why you see people losing work, tons of job postings and the government claims that unemployment is low. Part of the unemployment calculation accounts for open job postings not able to be filled. Its gaslighting. Also student loans missed payments aren't affecting credit scores until December. What happens right before December?

In my country it depends directly on how much you have previously worked meaning that right after graduating university there is no way you gonna live your life with unemployment benefits. In my country it's percent of your salary which is declining each month until 0 and it has requirement that you have worked at least x months before getting unemployed but from your video at 1:20 I understand it's easier in your country (america?)?

The fake job postings are called creating a “candidate pipeline”. On LinkedIn the job description will tell you when it was posted. If you see “reposted”, it may be bogus.

Some of you may need to invest in a resume writer so you can be picked up through ATS. Also you really have to understand you need the job and they need you but somebody is going to have to bend. Now you can be unemployed or you can work your way back up just to get you foot in the door. But I’ll tell you you this. You want guaranteed pay? Do the military like many of us did. You got a degree? They need officers. There will always be give and take and you have to be realistic with real expectations not necessarily yours will apply.

There’s a lot of fake job postings in the San Francisco Bay and surrounding area including most of the East Bay.

Get into security & go armed! There’s security jobs where you just watch cameras all day or sit in a car watching TH-cam and movies all night 😂 it’s easy plus overtime is endless. People call out all the time. Stack your bread and get into corrections or police officer.

Mannnnn I did not realize how fortunate I was to have a job paying 25/hr with benefits!!! I was being childish during covid and got mad because we still had to go to work while everyone else got 2 weeks off and quit!! Nobody is handing out opportunities like they used to no more!! I went job hunting last week and people act like I'm doing something wrong by showing up to a company and handing them my resume and asking to speak to a hiring manager!!!! The last time I went job hunting people liked the fact that I would show up and ask to speak to a manager. Sometimes I would get an interview on the spot! Times have certainly changed! The next opportunity I get I'm holding on to it for dear life!!

So now when a company says "we will keep your resume on file" does it really mean, we are not actually hiring at the moment Well dang LOL

Recently got a job as a CSR at a west coast bank thru a agency it’s a remote and I work from home and get paid $19 an hour but 2 weeks and I’m already burnt out 😅I swear we had new employees a few weeks back but out of a class of 12 newbies 8 already quit…. Am I cooked ? My agency not the bank have told me anything 😂and I’m just holding on to this job for the experience because they can let me go at any minute just for a simple mistake I did

Also official gov't unemployment numbers don't count people who have been out of the labor for more than 6 months. Accordoing to got data, those people simply don't exist.

To anyone out there who may be reading this, join the trades! If you don't like physical work, this doesn't apply to you. With that being said, you can make over $100,000 a year without a college degree. Give it a shot. If you like it, apply for an apprenticeship. Joining a union can be a little competitive, but these jobs will be here long after the rise and dominance of AI. Don't knock it til you try it.
