Wow 15k for two doors and two openers? Guess I can raise my prices lol. That same job with polyurethane doors (arguably quieter but definitely more insulated R-12.12) I charge 10k to do and I’m in NY. Great professional company though!
It's always a pleasure watching real professionals doing their job beautifully and flawlessly. Danny the drywall guy and his dad were in the same league, as were the insulation contractors, the plumbers, and the concrete workers. I don't know too many workers who could keep working while answering all of Paul's thousand questions. Hats off to the Garage Door Duo. Amazing job, and these doors will look and operate good for many years to come.
Exactly, they've lucked out with not only quality work (except that bathroom) but also guys who dont mind answering questions and being filmed. There are those who would be annoyed and just want to do the work and get out of there which I can understand, not knocking those kinds of people but the guys they've used on this project and turned out to be quality dudes.

The owners of The Garage Door Doctor used to live in my neighborhood here in Cypress. Mr. Johnson (father) fixed my garage door a couple of years after I bought the house. The system the builder installed with was shoddy. He did a great job and it has been working great ever since (likely 10 yrs or more).
I like the fact that when ever you ask the door installer a question he fired back with a direct answer(he knows his product and his job) and neat & clean install. Great looking doors, when you don't have the luxury or the space to have side garage door opening(s) you really appreciate a good looking door facing the front of a house.
HUGE W for Alex and Darnell! You two were fun to watch. I loved all the explanations. Now I know for sure will never be installing my own garage doors. Great tip about oiling the hinges and wheels. I never knew you should do that. Nobody ever says that when you move into a new place. Stud Pack! Ya'll are making things so much easier for your different contractors. Props to Ya'll.
Looks fantastic guys and what a great couple of guys to do the install. Very engaging and professional. I bet their company is super proud to have them as "brand" ambassadors.
If you use plumbers putty and build a little wall around the hole in the countertop where you’re drilling, you can fill it with water to keep the bit wet.
Daaang, that looks amazing! I love the texture on that door, too! Huge, huge, huge shout-out to A1 and Garage Door Doctor for training and supporting their tradespeople!
It's great to see a young guy like that what's both knowledgeable about his job and clearly cares about his work. He and Darnell both presented themselves beautifully and repped their company superbly.
Glad to see you finally got the garage doors installed, they look awesome! Top notch installation! Paul, I hope you gave Alex the magnetic wrist band as a thank you for his professionalism and dedication to his craft.
My thoughts exactly. These installers have a great attitude and know what they are doing and do it well. The month in training has paid off. Great start on a career.
Fantastic video and awesome Garage Door Installers. Alex and Donnell knocked it out of the park. Alex is a natural on camera and a natural instructor. He's amazing. Great job Alex and Donnell 🥰🥰👍🏻👍🏻 I've learned so much from the professional Garage Door Doctor.
Very cool of you guys to show the skill and talent needed to install what many think is an easy thing to install. That young man is gonna be my go to garage door fell in H town moving forward.
They sent Alex, most likely their best installer tech. He's young, smart and pays attention to detail. I see a bright future for him with the company. Keep it up Alex!

Jordan, you’ve installed superior products my guy, and you dad is just a pure beast and a blessing to have on your team. He’s a true professional with integrity
When I had my garage door re-done I opted for the side-mount opener; 1000% better. Very quiet, and you don't have that track running down the middle. There was a long lead time of the door (right after COVID), so I had the company come out and do a site survey to ensure I did everything right. I had already seen online the requirements and had all the 2x6's in place.
Don't usually comment, but it was awesome to see some other pleasant, courteous, and competent folks working with y'all on the garage. Everyone external you've shown helping out has been great through the whole project.

Brings back the old days when I used to install doors. Most of the time, we installed them solo, but it went so much faster in a two-man crew. To this day, I still look at garage doors in my homes, critique the work, and verify the door balance and track level😂 Beautiful doors and great install by the Garage Door Doctors!
