Very helpful video, i got one important question though. How did you remove the screw that holds the panel on 4:30 ? Do I have to remove the whole side panel of the trunk for it?
Thank you. At this part of the video 4:30, I didn't remove the c pillars, I just loosened them so I could remove the headliner. Afterwards, with the help of an L Torx key, I unscrewed the screws and took them off completely, but unfortunately I didn't record it. Not all panels have to be removed. Just make room so you can approach with the L key and unscrew the screws.
What kind and brand glue or epoxy should l use to stick it on ??? Can someone give me name of the product? I saw on a video that they use paint roller to put the glue or epoxy on it
Thx. The roof and pillars are upholstered with the original canvas for the headliner with a 3mm sponge. Other plastic parts are painted with car varnish. First clean them well, then apply plastic primer and only then paint.
I didn't cut, I just forgot to take a video because they were left in the vehicle after I removed the headliner and I just forgot to take a video. The first time the 4f comes into the shop, I'll film the C pillars being removed.
@@VDEdition1 i just found out youu dont need to remove the C pillars..just force the headliner out. Also the front pillars...you just pull the headliner back
I don't take them off either if I just need to remove the headliner, but in this case I had to take them all off because I had to reupholster them in black :)
Hi! Amazing work. Have you any experience in the salon version if there is anything diffrent about it? Im thinking about doing the same to mine and your video is the only one regarding the c6! Thanks again.
The procedure is the same, only it is a little more difficult to remove the headliner for a salon version. You have to fold down the seats and remove the headliner through the passenger door. Thank you and good luck with the works.

How do you put it back in without braking anything

It is important that you use heat-resistant glue. In particular, I used Dunlop LP.
Thank You, currently removing the headliner & pillar trim on my 2005 allroad which is a challenge..
You're welcome.
Good luck with the works.
Hello, Amazing job, What paint had you use? And do you paint the roof?
