I have 290,000 miles on my 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9, still purrs no weird sounds, ....however I am constantly wishing I could throw a new engine into it. Hats off to you for taking on that task.

Question I just put in a 5.9l in my 06 ram 1500 it came with a 4.7. .can I use the same wiring expect for the pcm or do I have to change the whole thing

How did you take the ac condenser out?

SLO RAM you have to get the ac system evacuated and then you should be able to disconnect the hoses

Looking into buying a 4x4 that needs a motor so I was wondering how it came out cause of the cab forward dodge thing but it looks easy. Not a dodge guy so I wouldn't know any better but I've always just took the ac compressor off and tied it up out of the way. Can that not be done on a dodge truck?
